Car service - Broken Windshield

I went for car servicing in Attrell Toyota last week (11th Aug 2020). No car checks were made and some guy took the car and parked it.
After my car was serviced, they call me and asked to pay me the dues and handed over they key. When i went to the car I realized that my windshield is cracked. I talked to the lady but she said it was already broken. She then redirected me to service manager Joe Borello.
I waited for sometime and then service manager without talking anything, shows me the cctv footage and told me 'See its already broken when you arrived'. After looking at it, I told him that 'Its sun glare in the camera, which is in crescent shape but the crack on my windshield is like a zigzag. There is no crack'

I asked him to see the crack on the windshield but then he argued that its because of the small stones and it happens every time. I told him that it was not there when I got my car to service and its your responsibility. He very rudely responded 'we will not do anything, take your car out of the premise, do whatever you want, I don't care'. He than turned back and went off.

I then asked the lady at the reception to meet the dealer principal but she said he is not there and then pointed me to someone else. I am not sure who that person was, I told him everything and then he asked me to wait. He talked to few guys and came back. He also talked to me in the same tone and told that its was already there. I then told him that in cctv footage the crack is not there, to which he responded 'Go claim it with your insurance, it happens everyday. My wife also had the same thing. She claimed it from them'.

I have no option and then I came back. I wrote an email to General Manager John Attrell raising my concerns but its been more that a week, I haven't received any response from anyone. I also followed up but still no answer.

I have never imagined the kind of service/response and unprofessional behavior from the team. I would not recommend anyone to service there car from them.

Very busy dealership taking the customers very casual and for granted,
Judging the people by their appearance, not willing to discuss the deal winning details, they know they are selling a good range of vehicles but have forgotten that they are not the only one. I visited to finance 2020 Rav 4, but they seemed more interested in selling highlander. I wouldn't recommend if you want to make an informed , value for money purchase.

They are not greedy. I have referred 2 people and this dealership did not lure my contacts into getting a car they didn't want just because they need one -to my understanding this dealership will always help you out!

I have been a customer twice and consistently they have treated me professionally. I thought I had reviewed this with the first car I got over a year ago, but am not sure -I dealt with Nayab Khan and he is always awesome. I had the pleasure of meeting Trent for the "KNOW YOUR TOYOTA NIGHT" and he was also very knowledgeable and funny during the whole session!

Don’t take your vehicle to this dealership for a Detailing package! Service does not match detailing brochure. Company took my vehicle to another building where I watched them detail cars threw a fence. 100 Van Kirk drive right side of building. Payed to get my Highlander buffed but they just wash and wax. Very Poor service I went to speak to detail manager but he was not around. I Was approached by sketchy teenagers that tried to get me to leave the sight while my wife’s Highlander was getting vandalized. Teenagers were trying to get me to pay cash when I have already talked to workers at the dealership. My wife was very upset. I called the detail manager on phone all he said was I am sorry you feel that way please come by a next day so we can resolve your issue. NEVER AGAIN!

I went at their service center, and they didn't attend my car for almost 45 mins and came back later with labour charges of 1 hour which is almost $135,and after telling them that they did not attend my car on time and after having some words they reduced it to $65. Its a request to every customer kindly keep an eye on your car once you entered in their workshop.

My family came here to buy a new car. The experience was great.
We waited about a month for the car to come in, went to pick it up, and found it was a bit dirty inside. Strange. The best part was when we found that the odometer reading had at least 160km on it already??
After a bit of argument, they admitted to using OUR new car for other customers to test drive. Completely disrespectful, unprofessional, inappropriate, and even insulting for them to think that this was acceptable in any way. Save yourself some time and avoid their sketchy service.

Side note, if someone from this dealership is reading my comment and thinking about reaching out to me to explain their tardiness, don't bother. You all know what you did, and no amount of customer service can fix it.

Recently purchased a new vehicle from Attrell Toyota. Went in initially just looking for information and pricing, and was greatly accommodated. Did not feel pressured to make any decisions right away, this was even mentioned by our Sales Advisor. We were able to test drive without any issues! Once we had made a decision we came back in and we were well taken care of.

I would especially like to point out our Sales Advisor, Sonny, who made the overall experience very easy and comfortable! He went above and beyond, making sure he was always available for us! It was very easy communicating with him. Sonny demonstrated excellent customer service and made sure that all of our questions and concerns were answered and cleared!

We are extremely happy with the new vehicle and are so impressed with the over all experience with this dealership and the service provided by each individual we had contact with! I recommend this dealership, and Sonny as a sales advisor!

Never going to come to this location for parts and service ever again.

I cake for a routine service and inquired about quoting and purchasing a Remote Start add-on to my car. Sure enough I received the quote and schedule the date to install, two week from the day I inquired.

Due to a lack of experience, negligence or plain unawareness, the part wasn't ordered. I show up on the day of my appointment for my installation, go through the check-in process and everything. Only to be told a few minutes later that they don't have my part because duh, they hadn't ordered. The part is finally ordered and I pay the steep price up front and reschedule for a week later to it installed.

Fast forward a week later, I show up for my installation, they called and confirm the part had shipped and been received the day before. Great. I ask about the possibility of any reduction in labour costs due to the fact that I'd been inconvenienced multiple times at this point to get this done over a miss on their part. I was assured they'd try to reach the one responsible, but because the rep that was there wasn't the one in charge of my order, she couldn't do it herself.

And instead of taking 2 hours as initially estimated when I got the quote, it ended up taking 4 and lo and behold, no discount applied.

They're not huge on pleasing their customers, but they're cordial about screwing you over and taking your money. If you have to go to a Toyota dealership, just go to Georgetown.

Good knowledgeable staff, amazing deals but please make sure to understand about every policy before buying a car. They keep you in dark while explaining some things. They play smart, but actually they should be fair with you. Especially the warranty and insurance procedures because they may say warranty and insurance covers everything, it really does not mean it will. If possible, record their words so you could clarify stuff later on with the dealers. Well, I must say they will guide you good to buy a car but will make you spend extra on add on's. So make sure to clarify first and then proceed. I myself have suffered in a way I can't explain but I got a great car, its just the warranty and insurance that does not cover most parts of car as they say it will. All the best! 😊

I had my eye on the Scion FRS from the first moment I saw it on the road. After my hubby and I picked up his Ram from the dealership (just around the corner from Attrell Toyota) I decided last minute to drive down the road and check out this sweet ride. As I drove into Toyota's parking lot, I saw this guy getting out of his car. When I got closer, we both smiled and relized that we knew each other from a little place called Yorkdale Mazda. Yes!, it was Bobby Chhabra who had started working at Toyota only a few days back. He immediately welcomed me and asked me how I was doing and so on. I told him that I was interested in the FRS and after we went for test drive I turned to him and said "Oooh Bobby, you just sold me another car!". Like always, he gave me a big smile showing those pearly whites of his :D I guess it was all meant to be! (at least that was my excuse...hehehe).
Attrell Toyota worked with me according to my needs and all the paperwork was done smoothly. I am very thankfull to have been in Bobby's hands once again. He is not only an amazing sales guy but also an awesome person that has been present in two of my greatest personal achievements. I highly recommed stopping by. They provide quality service and vehicles. Btw, FRS is tons of fun to drive, 200 HP, good on gas, handles curves beautifully, the standard features are unbelievable, and a sexy beast in whiteout ;)

Wow. Simply amazing. I called to schedule my appointment for an oil change and the service manager Joe was able to fit me in right away. Even though this was a routine visit, the Attrell team found things that I didn't even know were issues (ie burnt out light bulb, dirty air filter etc.) Great service, professional and timely.
