Many thanks to Austin in your service department. He went out of his way on a simple item, find the right puzzle lock for my car, then had a service man come out and remove the puzzle lock lugs (so i can get my tires changed at a local tire shop), not only did the service man remove the puzzle locks, he put on my spare lug nuts and then torqued all my lugs. It was only a 5 minute job, and not really a big deal but both guys went out of their way to do this for me and I think they deserve a thanks and the dealership deserves a thank you for encouraging their employees to offer great service. All the little things I go to the dealership (keys and puzzle locks) tell me this is a dealership that provides service above and beyond. Four out of Five stars for service above and beyond.
We dealt with Tony and Nigel to buy our new Toyota Tacoma. Tony kept us informed all along and helped us customize our truck. He was responsive, friendly and engaging all throughout. I have to admit car shopping is not my favorite thing to do as it can be difficult to deal with salesman and car dealers. I was perusing auto trader on a Sunday morning and came across a beautiful toyota CH-R . I emailed for more details expecting contact during the week. I received a text message right away from salesman Tony who was happy to answer any of my questions on his day off . Tony was absolutely easy to deal with and I did not feel pressured. We had a great experience with Tony from start to finish and I would recommend this dealership to anyone . Recently I had an excellent experience with Penticton Toyota. The staff were all extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. What I appreciated about Tony Lipinski, Product Advisor, was his patience with me as I took a number of weeks to make up my mind. Today June 22 I picked up my pre owned Toyota Tacoma from Toyota Penticton. I called in the morning to inquiry about the truck, I spoke with Brian. I was impressed by his professionalism, humour sense and ability to make everything easy as I was coming from Vancouver and wanted to drive back the truck the same day. In this situation honesty is the key, I literally bought the truck in 30 min just based on the description of the vehicle and the information provided by Brian.
When I got there, it was 4:30, I found everything ready and as described, actually even exceeded my expectation. I would describe my experience as a VIP (5 star) service. They washed the truck, waxed and polished it so it looked nice and shiny, they even put me a full tank of gas. The purchase process went smooth with the financing and insurance, everything was set up in a timely manner.
I strongly recommend this dealership. It worth the extra mile for those who don't want to shop a vehicle further than their neighbourhood.

I was looking for a Toyota for my parents (I am from Calgary) who live in Penticton.
As I was browsing their website quite late in the evening, I was contacted that very same night.
Tony from the sales team has assisted me in picking the right car which turned out to be even cheaper than in Alberta (even with PST).
They have arranged everything . All my parents had to do is sign the paperwork and pick up the car.
I had to visit these guys myself, which I did. Top notch facility with great people!!!!!

My partner and I drove out from Vernon to check out a 2016 Toyota Corolla. We had been looking for a while and wanted to see what Penticton Toyota could offer.
Initially the experience was good. The dealer told me “we will have you driving off the lot this afternoon”, and I replied straight up saying “I won’t be taking it home today”. (Since this is my first big purchase, I wanted to think about my decision before committing.)
Towards the end of our meeting is when the discomfort began. I told the dealer that I wanted to think about the purchase, but he made it seem like I couldn’t leave without being pre approved for financing or I would have been wasting his time.
To summarize it up, it felt like he was being pushy. The dealer made me feel cornered like I had to do what he said or I was wasting his time. Meanwhile my partner and I used our time to drive 1hr and 41 minutes to give the Penticton dealership a try.
I’m in my early 20s, and I’m open to advising, but he was straight up condescending. I understand that he has been a sales advisor for however many years, but as the buyer, shouldn’t I be steering the ship to my comfort level? He told me that he’s like a doctor or a dentist, and that you wouldn’t question what the doctor tells you, you would just listen to what he says and do it.
It’s too bad because I liked the car. We would have driven back out again to buy the car, but because of the service, I’m going to another dealership to give them my business.
Bought a preowned hybrid yesterday and couldn't be happier. Awesome crew, super easy and enjoyable experience and Brian in sales is a total beauty. High recommend these guys.
Do not buy used vehicles here, they do the bare minimum they are legally required to do to prep them, then they do not post any of the faults with the vehicles online, and in some cases actually lie about it in the ad. Would expect much higher quality control from a dealership with a reputation to uphold, Vernon and Kelowna Toyota dealerships were much better in my experience

When I lived in Penticton I helped build the new extension for the service department. Got to know the staff well and had service done. Excellent customer service and never had any issues. They even fixed a few things under warranty when I had issues with my tacoma and didn't argue over it. Highly recommend them and I will be dealing with them more now as I feel like a valued customer.

I have a very positive experience with Brian Ewing. I live in Vancouver and emailed pictures of the Tacoma truck I wanted to trade in. He gave me a very reasonable price for it so we negotiated a deal through text messages and a few days later I went to pick up my new truck. It was the easiest vehicle buying experience I've ever had. My buddy that drove to Penticton with me saw the whole process and noticed it was that easy so he traded his truck in as well and he bought a RAV4 from Brian.

I have previously went to this dealership for service for years with Tacomas I used to have. The service department deserves at least a 3 star for what they do. However, after dealing with the sales department over the past few months I could not have been more disappointed. We were looking for a 2014-2016 4Runner. The vehicles we were either quite beat up or severely overpriced. Even the beat up one was overpriced. I am surprised a dealership wouldn’t take more time to fix up the vehicles a little more. Every time we met with sales they tried convince us to lease a new vehicle . They kept pushing this even though we said many times we did not want to lease as we wished to pay cash for the vehicle, and did not want to go above our budget. Our decision to never go back to this dealership was made after we finally saw a vehicle that met our needs and tried to make an offer. Despite the vehicle being overpriced vs market (according to Car Gurus and other sites) they would not move at all on the inflated price. The same day as we were negotiating they decided to wholesale the car to another dealer in Penticton without contacting us at all. I cannot understand this process. Since this experience we have had dealings with a few other dealerships and the experience was vastly improved. We settled on a new vehicle recently and could not be happier. My advice is to pass this place by and look elsewhere. The price and service will be so much better. We really like to support locally, but unfortunately it looks like they try to take advantage of lower competition in the area.
The last three services for oil and filter changes the crankcase has been over filled by 3/4 of an inch causing crank case pressure to overcome the seal on the fill cap and oil showing up on the outside of cap this is a sign off to much pressure in the case which is dangerous . The first time they removed the over fill but the next two times they told me that with 0/20 synthetic it was ok . They would not remove the over fill. Now if I have a seal failure ( Not my fault ) it will be time lost to repair the engine (unnessary). I will go back and ask again to correct this but will not go back for the rest of services that I paid for when buying the car.
Friendly and knowledgable staff. They treat you well both in the sales and service areas. I live out of town and have a choice of Toyota dealerships to do business with. I choose to travel a little further to Penticton.

My recent truck-buying experience at Penticton Toyota was awesome, right from my first contact with the dealership. My salesperson was Brian and he is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and so easy to deal with. The value for my trade-in was more than fair and I loved driving away in a beautifully detailed truck with a full gas tank! To put it in perspective, my last dealing with a different dealership caused me to remove all license plate frames and dealership stickers as I didn't want to be associated with that particular dealer. I will, however, be keeping all the Penticton Toyota stuff on this truck. I also appreciated the amazing service and support staff at Penticton Toyota - keep up the great work everyone!

The staff at Penticton Toyota and Scion were very helpful and thorough, both in sales when we bought our new Prius, and in service when we had work done on our other car. We enjoy doing business with them.
We leased 2 vehicals, venza and a Tacoma. Service department is a waste of time. Day one the oil filter on the venza wasn't installed properly and drained on our clean concrete floors permanently staining it. I've been to service 5 times with my 2016 Tacoma in less than 4 months for squeeking leaf springs. The techs replaced them "finally" but damaged the new springs upon installation. I was told I could go back again for 6x to fix the damage. Techs need training and the service manager does nothing to check quality of the work done. They have lost our business and We have been taking our vehicals to Vernon Toyota where they make sure work is done right the first time.
Service makes or breaks a dealership! They can sell all the cars in the world but they can't fix them.

Enroute from Vancouver to Cranbrook, a deer leapt upon our Prius. We were lucky enough to end up with superb service from Penticton Collision and an engine replacement from Penticton Toyota. Both businesses went out of their way to look after us. Tony the service Mgr of Penticton Toyota gave us regular updates and provided exemplary service. If he is reflective of the whole organization, I would buy my next Toyota from the Penticton dealership! Thanks again
