If I could give zero I would ! However 5+ star to sale rep (Lyanna) she is a such a great person !
There was a brand new white rav4 hybrid in transit and nobody had a deposit on it. I put a deposit of $1000 on it, ETA delivery end of November. At the time fees including taxes and yadi yada..was just shy of $46k. And we agreed that there will not be any extended warranty on it..(have that on record too)
Came November, car came in and I was so excited. Started the process and now things changed, they added almost 4-5 grand in warranties on top of it.
I said to finance department that I have the right to decline OPTIONAL/EXTENDED warranty. He then said it is their dealership policy that they do not SELL ANY CAR WITHOUT WARRANTIES.
He then said, that HE CAN CHOOSE THE PERSON WHO HE CAN SELL THE VEHICLE TO...THEN SAID I LOOKED LIKE AN EXPORTED AND WONT BE SELLING THE CAR TO ME. BORDER LINE RASCIST COMMENTS.
Good thing is I have everything on paper and recorded. Contacting Toyota canada about the situation and how I was treated.
It is your freedom to decline extended/optional warranties ! Do not let these people foul you !
Had a very pleasant experience purchasing my vehicle here from out of town. Lyanna, Steve, and Mike were awesome helping me out with everything. Rachelle was also amazing showing me all the features of the vehicle. Just great people with good vibes I really enjoyed every minute at the dealership. Will be coming back surely and eventually!
Thank you to Roger, at Peace Country Toyota for helping me today, you are a lifesaver! Always great service at Peace Country Toyota.
Had great local service with a truck purchase, they stayed late to help me, were kind, funny and not pushy either. Matt definitely made it a easy sale for me.. Thank you
Matt was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions when upgrading to the limited Tundra. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended.
Matt was awesome! He went above and beyond to help me out with my new vehicle. Highly recommend him if you are getting a Toyota suv.
Fantastic team and made what could have been a very anxious experience for me much much better got me into something that fit my small price range and helped set me up for the future
Had a great experience working with Dion and Mike at Peace Country Toyota! Great deal on an awesome truck - these are hard to find in this market and Dion worked to get me the right set of wheels, and for my business. Low pressure, knowledgeable of products, completely painless. Give Dion a go!

Did the work I asked in a timely matter. Was professional and courteous.
My Inlaws car has been down for about 3 weeks now, closest dealer is over an hour away, the problem is a relay for the fuel pump,! They have the relay but can't find the location to change it, called for some assistance , and they were rude and uninformative, told to bring it to them and they would do it in 10 mins! So if it takes 10 minutes for them, I'm sure with a little guidance I could do it in 20 minutes! Instead they want a tow bill, shop time and we still have to drive there and another vehicle to go get it back after! REALLY? Just help your customers instead of forcing them to use your shop!
Quick and easy to sell me a new truck. But when it comes to customer service. Poor. After eight weeks of waiting, and multiple attempts addressed damage from delivery is still not fixed. Goods to be added on still not put on.
I had booked an appointment for OIL CHANGE at 1:00pm today. Arrived there at 12:30pm coming from Fort St John. Was nice enough to ask my girlfriend and I if we needed a ride somewhere so we asked to get dropped off at resto. Got a call while eating saying they needed to replace brake pads and rotors so i said sure whatever and asked what time they'll finish as my girlfriend had work at 4pm and said it'll be "an hour". I could've done it and did it before from my previous jobs and was told from dealership where I bought truck from was not to touch anything or I'd void the warranty. So we ended up leaving there at 4pm for an oil change, front rotors, and brake pads, for a 3 hour job that became almost $1000. Not to mention my truck only has 35500km, use it to work that is less than 15km, and don't stomp on the brakes to avoid getting ripped off from stealership. They didn't have much stock either and I am sure I got charged OEM parts when I clearly saw Raybestos brand boxes in their parts department. I'm not a mechanic but I have changed my brake pads and rotors in other vehicles and does not take 3 hours. This is why I would rather do my own work but again, I was told not to touch anything or I would void warranty. Avoid going to this place for service!!
Out of all the Toyota’s in bc this is by far the worst do not go there go anywhere else
An amazing dealership. The people make all you concerns taken care of. They know there jobs and if they don't have the answers, they find them. Awesome experience.
Aaron Rude is your man for any Toyota needs/Products! i've never been treated with the level of respect that i got dealing with Aaron, Peace country Toyota you guys rock!
both service mannager and service * jacki* are amazing everytime i go there. only toyota dealer i want to deal whit.
Best customer service @ Peace Country Toyota!!
Thank you 🙂
To the owner, of course that is not a real name. The account however is very real. I was far from impressed with your service center the last several times I was in there, thus the 1 star review. I see I am not the only one unimpressed with your lack of helpful service either so I'm not sure why you went after my review. I didn't even trash you, just left my opinion.
Toyota were known for a long time, reliable cars yes, but your service I don't think so. Sorry but I think you guys need to check the priority and I think that's why there's a booking system working on there to prioritize who booked first, not by being ignored and telling people "oh sorry we got busy that's why we didn't have time to check on your car". Don't you think customer who will hear that will be happy to hear those words? and I think you better give a follow back call to your customer updating what's going on because I don't think that's happening. I'm so sorry but I think people will be delighted if they will be treated as your priority as well because they are absolutely paying for whatever you guys are charging.
Go to Prince George or Grande Prairie.....Grande Prairie has a drive through for quick maintenance, Prince George is a lot cheaper to buy there
Staff makes every effort to insure you get the right vehicle
I had a few questions about my older, Corolla. The gentleman who, helped me, gave great advice.
Friendly, Knowledgeable, Staff!👌

Quick service and straightforward explanations of required work.
A big - 10 from me personally and professionally when looking for a used car a few months back the salesman had no interest in helping us and continually tried to up sell a new vehicle to us even after being told repeatedly we were not buying new. On a professional level I manage a very busy repair shop and have tried on multiple occasions to order parts from Peace Country Toyota and have had very poor results every single time they have failed to call back or answer calls, in the end i called Sean Sargent Toyota in Grande Prairie got immediate polite and professional response my parts ordered and shipped directly to me. Both Personally and professionally these guys are a huge fail!!
Was friendly and helpful for our situation but had to give low rating because they robbed us $300 for a brake inspection. Had some noises coming from rear tires and they found the issue no problem, even spoke to our previous mechanic for us so that we can get it fixed by them (otherwise was going to force new parts on top). I need to be real here, $300 for an inspection WITHOUT parts is WAY over priced for labor. We sat there for almost 3 hours before the car was even touched. And when we called hours later, it seemed as though the report was already done but no one bothered to call us. I get things are more expensive up North but this should have only cost half of that. Watch out if you’re from out of town.

TLDR/SUMMARY: Consider other places before visiting this business. If you are looking for more detail as to WHY, please read below.
Edit: this 1 star rating is based on previous experiences with this business in late 2018 and in early 2019. Hopefully Peace Country Toyota has improved since then.
For those of you wondering if you should go here, I strongly recommend against it. I am originally from Kingston, Ontario and was hoping for the same level of service, respect, and integrity that I used to receive from the dealership in Kingston. Unfortunately, I was charged for minor things (i.e. an additional $80 for "service/labour"on a bill to put in a $4 light; I was doing a safety check and was told the light was only $4, but was unaware that this additional job would cost me an extra $77), the service took notably longer than expected (i.e. another time I was having an oil change scheduled for early in morning so I dropped my vehicle off before work, arrived later that afternoon - about 3 or 4 hours after when my vehicle was originally scheduled - abs it still wasn't done! I had to wait an additional hour afterwards...), and often received bills that were (in comparison to other places I have since visited in Dawson Creek) noticeably higher for the same level of service.
When I showed some of the bills to a friend who works at a Toyota dealership, he was noticeably shocked, and informed me that I had been taken advantage of with these additional charges.
It was humiliating. I will not be returning to Peace Country Toyota again.
Thankfully, my experiences at other places in town (i.e. Kaltire and Elite Auto) have shown that you can have work done on your vehicle without it being an awful experience! It also made me realize how sub-par my experience with Peace Country Toyota was... overall, not impressed. And certainly not a good introduction to Dawson Creek.

I had an excellent experience purchasing my latest vehicle. The staff are helpful and always willing to assist.
The best, I live in FSJ I have a Toyota bought from them and due for maintenance, normally the process I drop the car in subway and they come to pick-it-up, now as subway is closed to the public these guys went above and beyond the call, came all the way from Dawson Creek to FSJ to my house, yes to my house picked the car to Dawson Creek again, to do the maintenance in their place, after finishing they drove back to FSJ to drop my car, I recall one guy was called Boris if I heard his name right, and I was not able to know the name of the other guy, two gentleman, one younger and the other older, two were great thanks guys at Peace Country Toyota
BEWARE!!! These guys are clearly liars and thieves. I moved to Dawson in February and brought a vehicle with me that just passed out of province inspection in Alberta in January. They failed it and provided an estimate of C$4500 for the repairs (This is half of the vehicle's cost). Later the vehicle was taken to two other shops, one in Dawson and one in Alberta, both shops confirmed that everything Toyota failed (Other that two small obvious things of about C$500 in total) have been within the manufacturer specs and didn't require repair. Currently working on a complaint with ICBC. Stay away!!!
Nothing but bad service with these clowns. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. They omit alot of details and just end up making you pay more. Going to call corporate office and let them have it.
Sales lady was pushy and often rude. Told outright lies about other brands and best offer was far above MSRP. I'd sooner drive to Grand Prairie than shop here.
Very great service! I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door and they offer complimentary muffins and cookies! Del at the parts counter was of great help and answered all my questions
Service is a bit sub par compared to other dealers, salesman are a bit pushy for my liking and nothing really special here. Personally would drive further to another dealer to not be made to feel like I'm an annoyance to them. I've heard many people don't have a problem though.
A great car buying experience! Everything was handled smoothly and explained well. We left with no questions and really felt taken care of. Happy to have joined the Toyota family!
Can’t say enough great things about this dealership and the staff who work here. The minute you walk in the door I guarantee you will feel the friendly yet extremely professional environment. The low pressure sales approach made purchasing and deciding on our new RAV4 an easy and enjoyable experience. The sales staff went above and beyond in making sure we found the best vehicle to suit our family’s needs and budget. I would not hesitate to send my family or friends here to purchase a new or used vehicle. In my opinion you win three times. First with the dealership and the way they will handle your needs, next with the fantastic Toyota product and lastly and probably most importantly how you are still treated so well after the purchase and throuought your ownership of the vehicle.
Was not impressed with the service I recieved
I had a great experience there...great staff and great service...very pleased!
Always the best among all the dealers in the peace region
We purchased a used pick up. We were told everything on this vehicle is perfect. The salesman knew the old owner and he took care of the vehicle. After it was "detailed" we finally took it home. There was dirt everywhere and it looked like the owners use the back seats to groom dogs. It was full of dog hair. Also within a few days the back up sensors and camera failed. We brought these both up with the sales manage. We were informed the didn't make enough profit of of us so the couldn't help us. Make sure if you deal with these guys to have everything in writing. If they offer to detail make sure they tell you it will be done right. The second you drive it off the lot it's your problem.
Awesome customer service! They were able to answer all the questions I had, and even though Toyota doesn't make a model to meet my requirements they still took the time to talk to me, and even took me for a ride in models they did have. Awesome job Kieran (I apologize if I miss spelled your name)
Great service in sales and service. Really lovely team and environment. Kinda feels like cheers in there, so friendly and comfortable
such a happy place to be, the people and product are great, proud to work here
I buy all my vehicles here. Amazing service all around
Got our FJ through Peace and have had peace of mind ever since!
They have the worst customer service ever. Please don't get vehicle from there if u need good customer service
We got amazing customer service here! No pressure sales tactics, the team explained all our options to us and found exactly what we wanted. They answered all our questions, and took such good care of us, we ended up buying another vehicle at the same time. So happy with our new Tundra and Sienna.
Best sales and service staff in Dawson Creek. Always friendly and helpful.
