We recently bought a SUV from Barrie Nissan, and I have to say the customer service was second to none. Jeremie our sales associate was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. When we had to wait due to a queue to talk with the Financing Service Manager, they made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. When I picked up our SUV, I was given a detailed tour of the new features with the SUV. This was unexpected and appreciated. Eric was very knowledgeable and friendly to deal with. He made sure I understood all the features within the vehicle. Graham the Financing Service Manager was also extremely friendly, and knowledgeable (notice a trend?).
Will I deal with them again in the future? You bet I will.

I have been going for regular service but this time I went because I had some issues with the paint and my tires. I met with Steve Ward and his detail team and was very impressed. Steve is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me even though I didn't have an appointment. The issue I had was not an actual issue with Nissan, however, Steve was very helpful in checking and explaining what the issue was and how to deal with it. Thank you Steve & team!
We had a terrible experience trying to trade in and buy a new car here 3 years ago. I wrote a review and received a vitriol laced response from the previous manager. We found out later he was canned and decided to give them another chance.
The last few times we've had our car in for service the dealership has changed dramatically for the better. I can only comment right now on the service side of the dealership at this time.
As time went on I've consistently edited my review to reflect the service received lately. And i do very much appreciate the new managers response to my concerns.
We just had the car in for an oil change last week and were very happy with the whole process this time, thus the change from a 1 star to a 4 star review. You've now earned it Barrie Nissan keep up the good work, people are just looking to be treated fairly.
My only small complaint is that they usually take 1.5 hours for an oil change, but their prices are reasonable for synthetic oil so we end up going there. This past trip we had to leave the car overnight because there was a few other things they needed to fix so the oil change time was not an issue then.
I have been looking for a car and visited a fee dealerships in the last week. I visited Barrie Nissan and tested a Rogue. Until now I have not decided which car I am going to buy but I wanted to mention that Jeremie Noel gave us an excellent service while we were at Nissan. He is very knowledgeable and hones giving us different options for us to decide. To be honest I went to Barrie Nissan when I was 95% sure I wanted another car brand but after visiting Nissan and experiencing the quality of their service I am now seriously considering getting a car from that dealership. This dealership and it's salespeople were amazing! We told them what we needed and what our budget was. We had an idea of which car we wanted and why. They never tried to dissuade us. We test drove the KICKS
and it was love at first drive! We had to be sure and spent a few more days looking. They only called once while others bugged us constantly. Our sales person Jeremy and Finance person Graham were friendly and professional. They honestly could not have been more helpful, I had a medical condition and they made sure I was always comfortable.

I could not be happier with Barrie Nissan! Upon walking in, we were greeted by Jason, who was friendly and listened without interruption to what we were looking for. He was not pushy at all, and was very persistent and genuine in his efforts to get us the best bang for our buck. We left Barrie Nissan (our first stop of the day) to shop around at a couple of other dealerships; none of the customer service we received anywhere else even compared to what we got at Nissan [and with Jason], and no one else worked as hard to get us such a great deal. Back to Barrie Nissan we went, and purchased a rogue. Jason made the whole process as easy and painless as possible, as did anyone we chatted with at Barrie Nissan. The staff all went above and beyond to make sure we went home happy and well aware of everything that went along with our new purchase. To top it all off, we just received a card in the mail from Jason and the rest of the Barrie Nissan staff congratulating us on the birth of our baby. We bought the car in July, and the baby was born in October- this to me shows how truly amazing Jason and the staff at Nissan are; how willing they are to go above and beyond for their customers, even well past the time of sale. Continue to have problems with my 2018 Nissan Sentra Radio Problem. The radio now does not work. It has been in 3 times, and last time they replaced the amplifier and dismissed me. I read there report and they took it for a test drive and acknowledged there was a problem. No follow up calls, now the radio doesn't work at all. I have to turn it on and off several times for it to work. I suggested a radio audio expert in Barrie and the Service Manager snapped back at me saying "that's not how it works, you pay for it". I am going back one more time. I have opened a complaint with Nissan Canada. Sales Department was Excellent!!! Beth is Awesome, this is my third Nissan and perhaps the last. !!!

After many hours of searching and test driving over the past few months, I finally found my car! The Altima is a fantastic vehicle and Candice made the buying process as painless as possible. Harris (sales manager) made us feel like our business was appreciated and helped to clear up previous issues.
I took 1 star off for a mix up on our sales agreement. Watch the warranties you sign for before your financing is done, even if you're told it's not final and is optional.
Other than that, the place was great, clean and welcoming, and I'm happy to have had Candice and Harris help with the sale!

Went in a few times with my girlfriend to accompany her while buying her first new car. Jason the salesman was very nice and informative. However Adam was the complete opposite. Single handedly lost Jason the commission to an easy sale. Buyer beware of this dealership. Shop out of town. Unless being spoken to in a condescending pushy manner is your type of thing.
I recently dealt with Barrie Nissan for a corporate auto lease. Candice Sambray, the sales representative, was helpful, response, and well-informed - a total pleasure to deal with. Adam Grose, from the financing department, was a total pro as well. From a customer service stand-point, I could not have asked for anything more. Thoroughly disappointed with Nissan Canada's brand and their parts. We will not be buying a Nissan ever again as they do not stand behind the safety of their parts. I had a recalled part fixed 2 years ago - 22,000Km ago and that same part that was fixed broke in the same manner the recall was put out for - this part should have lasted longer - in fact, the recalled part actually lasted double the time length and many more kilometres driven. Things happen, we understand this so we called Nissan Canada to see what could be done since this was a previously recalled part. They told us to take it to a Nissan dealership and they would see what could be done - the first person we spoke to was very helpful and she was taking our claim into consideration with further follow up. So we followed through with her request and took our vehicle to Barrie Nissan. We had the repairs done as directed. The dealership nor the company were willing to do ANYTHING for us. NOTHING. No refund, no partial refund, no reassurance, nothing. We are disappointed they lead us to believe they would do something more than just say - it's past warranty. Thanks for nothing Nissan. Your brand and parts - which I feel are not safe - are no longer wanted by our friends, family, or us.

My experiences with Barrie Nissan service have been very different than Mr. Cook's.
I've dealt with them for years. I buy Nissans (although from a different dealer) mainly because I get such good Nissan service in Barrie closer to my home.
Mr. Cook surely didn't have a totally indicative experience with Joseph. We've found his courtesy, expertise and general attitude excellent.
Please note: Although I'm a die-hard Maple Leafs fan, in all other areas of life I do not tolerate shoddy, sloppy, incompetent performance at exorbitant prices..
