Not especially happy with the service in that the service advisor strongly suggested I purchase the most expensive battery for my vehicle, otherwise my vehicle may not work well $500). I called an Infiniti dealer in the City and was advised that as long as the battery is the same size, ANY battery can be installed in a vehicle. I feel that just because I am a female, I always get taken advantage of by these guys and I’m getting tired of it. $1000 later….for other little repairs as well.
I would like to share my experience with the purchase of a used 2018 Honda Fit from this dealership. Although I am late in leaving this comment, it’s about three months now I have this car. I feel it is important to highlight some issues we have encountered with the vehicle. Within one month of acquiring the car, we experienced difficulty opening the door, and within 1.5 months, the AC is not working. This was particularly disappointing as we had driven a considerable distance from Halifax to obtain the car, and trust in the dealer. We owned a 2014 Honda Fit, which only had AC issues after 9 years of ownership. I hope this feedback can be helpful for others considering a purchase from this dealership.

We bought our used car in May 2022, they never told us the whole history of it, as an accident in 2017. Problem came, they did not help. This May problems increased, then we found CARFAX and they wrote us about that accident. We confonted them with our issue, they did not want to help, they were just arrogant (GM!).They did not care about us clients nor about customer protection! When we wrote to them they did not even answer, they just ignored us. BE WARNED!!!!

Received a text this afternoon from Sarah Kaulback asking if I was still interested in a vehicle they had; I responded with no sorry, Yarmouth is a little too bit too far. I said that because the payments were too much to justify going down there. She sent a text saying

this place is an entire rip off for parts prices. $700. for a steering part that Chev sells for their trucks for $135! $140 for a fan belt that would be $60. for a domestic vehicle. BE WARNED! do not buy a Nissan product or they will kill you with parts prices. Not to mention that their CVT transmissions are reviewed as the worst in the car industry! I have two Nissan vehicles. They will be sold and domestic ones or Honda or Toyota puchaced (they have expensive parts too, but at least they are reliable vehicles). And yes, I am frustrated and angry.
If you buy a second hand car from here, do not trust the advertised features. This dealer does not bother to check for damage on all advertised features.
When I brought up this issue to the dealer they bascially said "Too bad, should have paid for the full warranty." Apparently they find it morally acceptable to require a warranty to protect against their false advertising. I'm sure they have it hidden in the fine print somewhere that they don't bother to test all their features, but that is still morally reprehensible and bad customer service.
The Service Department crew are professional, knowledgeable, informative, and have excellent customer service, unlike their counterpart, Bruce's Auto Group Nissan in Kentville! I would definitely be using Yarmouth Nissan services again.

Tried to buy parts from this location, took me 20 minutes to find someone in the building that works there only to tell me there was no parts person on staff and no one would be able to help me. You guys won’t be open long. As much as I like to shop local I’ll be buying my Nissan parts from the city before this poorly run business.
