bought a 2023 Nissan rogue two months ago had it a month and discovered the panel was apart in the cargo area ,told it wasn't covered under warranty and when I got home I discovered that they tried to fix it but broke it and now wants me to pay for it,All I got from anyone in Nissan is the run around if they even contacted you at all.I can say with assurity that this is my first and my last Nissan that I will ever buy now I will have to see if a body shop can fix it somehow cause the incompetent techs at Nissan couldn't all they could do is break it and not tell me but let me find out myself.

We bought a 2023 nissan Rouge at hickman nissan GANDER nl . We put it in for service n they told us it needed a rear axel seal replacement. They ordered one n gave us an appointment to have it replaced a week later they rear axel shaft broke into causing a lot of damage to the heat shield n put a hole in the gas tank. We thought we were going to get a loaner to drive while it was getting repaired n that's when the fun started .we were told because we didn't buy the extended warranty they would not give us another vehicle to drive. We have a 3 year warranty on the vehicle because it was a new vehicle. The people at the dealership said it was nissans policy n there was nothing they could do. We called nissan corporate to file a complaint and they gave us the run around. It's bad when u buy a 50 thousand dollar vehicle from a nissan dealership and because u didn't buy their extended warranty u r left to fend for yourself. This is my first and last vehicle we will ever buy from nissan again

"Factory trained" technicians were unable to fix my vehicle. Very hard to contact, unable to answer basic questions, didn't return calls promptly. Any vehicle you have is only as good as the dealership, so be careful, cause Hickman Nissan in Gander is abysmal!

Tried to buy a vehicle that's been sitting in their showroom floor for months.

Didn't ask for a discount, or for them to waive their "admin fees".

They had originally approved my deal, now I'm hearing the manager doesn't want to sell me the vehicle because I am from out of province, regardless of the fact that I am able to provide any and all requested documentation for verification purposes.. I know this is just non-sense, I work in the industry and have sold vehicles from NL to BC.. Seems to be just plain bad business saying we have a deal, have me wasting all my time sorting out logistics just to turn around a few days later and cancel on me.

We purchased a vehicle from Hickman Nissan Gander 3 years ago. We had an excellent buying experience and all previous services have also been excellent. We recently received a safety recall letter in the mail from Nissan. We called and scheduled an appointment to get this "safety" issue taken care of immediately. We drove 2.5 hours for the appointment to be told that it wasn't necessary. We explained that we had driven quite a distance for nothing. The lady at the service desk was extremely professional and tried her very best to compensate us for the inconvenience. She asked the manager to provide us with a free oil change. He refused. We feel that this is very poor customer relations and if they truly valued their customers, some form of compensation would have been provided for an unnecessary 5 hour drive.
