I liked a used car this dealership had, and wanted to get it. I was put in touch with one of the sales rep there (Maria), and I asked her if I can come in to take a look and finalize the deal. She insisted that I should come the next day. Next day, when I was on my way to dealership at the agreed upon time I get a text message from her saying that the car got sold. I was very disappointed with the customer service this dealership provided. I feel like it is sales reps responsibility to ensure that they put something on hold for a customer when the reason a customer is not getting that thing the first day is because you told that customer not to come that day. I lost that deal/car because of a mistake that this sales rep made. If thats the culture this dealership has, I would much rather give my money to a different dealership where they put customer service first.

During rush hour someone swiped their truck against the front left bumper of my Mercedes leaving a scuff in the paint. I thought I would take it into Lone Star Mercedes today for a quote. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating as soon as I entered the garage. The paint specialist Morris immediately introduced himself in the most respectful way and, after looking at the scuff, offered to clean my car and buff out the scuff free of charge! He did an incredible job and I'm very pleased!

The reception and sales staff at the dealer is beyond helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. JM especially has been very helpful. That's where the good ends.

Same could not be said about the service and parts department. Often times seem confused as to what is going on and few individuals has been rude and at times led to increased wait times. I understand certain names may be difficult to spell out and find but snarky remarks should not be part of the service. Canada is a multicultural country after all.

Bottom line is, buy your MB from here but get it serviced elsewhere, where customer service is a part of post-purchase experience and no rude remarks would be made.

I unfortunately have to give this dealership a negative review. I feel it is important to do so in order to help prevent my experience from happening to anyone else. The one star rating reflects the positive experience I had with our sales rep and the finance department. They were very friendly and easy to work with.

I put a refundable deposit on a C43 at Lone Star but after shopping around, I decided this was not the car for me. I received an unexpected nasty call from the general sales manager "Simon Clarke" who called from his personal cell phone so the call would not be recorded by quality control. He refused my deposit back and informed me that I was now responsible for the entire purchase of the car - even though I never signed a contract. Simon was incredibly belittling and threatening towards me. Mercedes Canada had to step in and settled the dispute in my favor.
My husband and I were truly looking forward to working with our sales rep in the future, but after our unfair treatment we will not support the Lone Star dealership.

Hopefully by sharing my experience, it will give others in a similar situation the strength and courage to not be pushed around and bullied in such a manner.

Jordan the salesman that helped me was 110% great! I was extremely pleased with the whole process and his professionalism. After I had decided the vehicle I was going to go with we sat down went through all the proper paperwork, the deal was brought to his manager. I was paying cash and had no intention of leasing nor financing the vehicle, I was told I HAD to fill out a credit application so they could see how much my house was worth and where I worked and how much I made which I gladly provided. STILL, I was asked why I am purchasing a Mercedes? Well why would anyone purchase a new vehicle? Pretty self explanatory in my mind. My answer wasn't good enough, he wanted a $20,000 security deposit, or for me to lease the vehicle for a year. I purchased a 2016 Star Certified Mercedes-Benz S550 from Lone Star in March 2019. The car was far from meeting the Star Certification standard. Here are some issues I found shortly after taking delivery of the vehicle. These issues are mandated by the Mercedes Star Certification standard. Lone Star did not meet the standard but sold it as a Star Certified vehicle nonetheless.

1) Non-OEM windshield. I was told by the dealer that they had installed a new windshield onto the car. But I didn’t know it was an after-market windshield not approved by Mercedes. This causes the car’s head-up display to not work properly.

2) Service overdue. I had a service overdue message come up on the car after driving it for a few days.

3) Exterior cosmetic damage on the front passenger side bumper, front hood, and multiple wheel rashes on 3/4 wheels.

4) Faulty battery. Mercedes Roadside Assistance came and jumped the car. I brought the car to have the battery replaced right away.

5) Brakes did not have 50%+ life remaining. I had the check brake wear light come on after just driving the car for 3000km.

I have spent over $10,000 in bringing the car up to the quality that Lone Star should have done in the first place. I recall the sales person Henry and the sales manager George constantly telling me how much money they had spent on the car and they will not spend more.

So the dealer spent a certain amount of money for them to break-even or make a profit. But if the car needed more work to be done, they will ignore it or cut corners just to make more money for themselves.

Absolutely disgraceful Mercedes dealership. I have reported their unethical business practices to Mercedes Canada. I truly believe that Lone Star does not deserve to represent the brand and tarnishes the brand image as a whole.

This has made myself and my family lose brand loyalty in Mercedes. How could they let this happen? How could a Mercedes dealership put non-Mercedes parts into a car and sell it to me as a CPO vehicle?

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH. IF THERE WAS A ZERO STAR RATING THIS COMPANY DESERVES IT. We have had nothing but problems with them since the beginning 5 years ago, everything from a recall where they ordered THE WRONG SIDE PANEL for the GL (and made me wait at the location with 3 kids under 4yrs for 3 hours before they finally told me) going back multiple times for things that were "fixed" and paid for only to discover they were not fixed (transmission x3, brakes x5).
We were called 2 days ago to pick up our GL for the transmission yet again, told it was done, waited 1hr+for a shuttle that never showed up so I found a ride to the dealership (

Absolutely the worst service "with a lazy attitude " to boot. Last time, I would ever consider purchasing a car from these poor excuse for a dealership. I just finished having my car serviced ( 50,000 km's) and the maintenance light would not go off. I went in to their establishment on Heritage Meadows and their Manager Shawn Honsberger and Service lead Tony, refused to help me out by simply offering me simple instructions. INSTEAD; THEY WANTED ME TO BRING THE VEHICLE BACK INTO THEM FOR ANOTHER SERVICE. ( It was done just last week). It's my experience, that they are terrible people to speak with or go to for any assistance. Once they get your money on a car, that's it....your ancient history. Terrible atmosphere, and terrible customer service. My opinion is to stay away from people who are only dollar focused and not customer care focused. Going there is a general waste of time!

This is a review of a recent β€œservice” issue.

I drive a C43 AMG and recently had a nail in my tire. This is not the first time this has happened. Unfortunately, this time I was told that the tire has been discontinued and they would need to order a new tire. Where this went wrong was that they did not provide a loaner (keep in mind I bought the car there, have it serviced there, as well as purchased the prior replacement tire from them). When I asked about a loaner as it was going to be some time, I was told nope, none available. This left me without transportation for 9 days.

Compounding this, they feign ignorance when you mention that because the tires are Pirelli run-flat tires, the manufacturer offers a road hazard warranty. The dealer must submit the tire for coverage and it takes a few weeks, but you won’t be out the cost of a tire. Everyone seemed confused, but the service advisor said they would submit it. When I tried to confirm when picking it up, a different service advisor just made up a process and told me to handle it myself. I corrected her as I had already spoken to the tire manufacturer.

Disgusted, I emailed the general manager of the dealership. No reply. Seems nobody cares about terrible service. This is the most important part of owning a car, knowing it will work well and you can get reliable service. Unfortunately you can’t expect the latter at Lone Star Mercedes Benz. As a result, highly recommend just skipping this dealership. I know I will be skipping another Mercedes when the lease is up.

This is a beautiful dealership that properly embodies the Mercedes-Benz brand. The staff are very professional and don't seem desperate to make a sale. If you are buying a car from this dealership, I would implore you to avoid getting paint protection done from here however, as the quality is very poor. I picked up my C300 in January of this year and noticed several pieces of dirt and hair underneath the film. After bringing the issue up, I had the film replaced for free. 5 months later and I'm having problems with the paint protection film again! The film is showing bubbles everywhere and has started to peel off. I took my car to ZR Auto to fix the mistake that this dealership made. If you want paint protection on your vehicle, I would advise you to go someplace else in order to save your money and time. I would expect this quality from a Nissan dealership, not Mercedes-Benz.

The service department is a COMPLETE RIP OFF - My dad just went to get his car serviced for a regular oil change. The shuttle service dropped him off home. A few hours later he received a call from service. They told him he has a nail stuck in his tire and they can remove it for $80.00. My dad was perplexed as to why he hasn't ever had a problem with his tire's air pressure. Dad nevertheless, told them to leave it be. After picking up his car from Mercedes he took his vehicle to another mechanic shop. He told them to pull out the nail that the service department at Lone Star claimed he had stuck in the tire. The mechanic shop found no such nail only a staple that was lodge in between the tread of the tire!

Do not have your vehicle serviced here unless you want to get ripped off!

The service department in particular is fantastic and my service adviser, Crystal M is perhaps the most personable, capable and thorough I have ever dealt with. They claim simple services like oil changes takes hours. They charge astronomical prices for doing absolutely nothing. The service reps are pretty and clueless. Pretty clueless!!

No accountability for value. Its just 1 scam after another. A. Quick scan of thesereviews and how they are typed shows blatantly obvious that they hire people to write good ones to offset all the complaints.

Had to bring the car in for 7:30AM for basic maintenance. We called the dealer at 2PM to ask about when the car would be ready and were told it had not made it into the bay. Further they wanted to know if they could keep it for another day. After telling the service rep we needed it back (which we did) they managed to get it in and serviced. I wonder what would have happened if we did not call in the afternoon. Why make an appointment if that is the case? Additionally, the car was dirty inside, drivers side door unlatching had grease on it. Last time there the car was washed, not this time.

Communication was not good. Service not great and inconsistent from last visit.
