They were accommodating on the test drives. They then lowballed my trade in and when I pushed back they upped their offer 25%, just like that, which left a bitter taste, as they were obviously trying to take advantage of me. They were also very inflexible on the new car price. Result: I walked and bought a brand new CX5 from Yorkdale Dufferin , with a deal that was about $3000 better all round, plus 99% of the deal was concluded over the internet, which was very convenient for me. Bottom line, the buying experience at Yorkdale Dufferin was superlative in every way and they made me feel like a valued customer. Gyro didn't come close.

Sloppy and rushed service put you in harm's way... I posted a negative comment after appalling service within the last week, and strangely there was a flurry of almost 30, 5 Star positive ratings at a rate unprecedented in their comment history. Read into that what you will. Also, it's worth noting the number of comments on Google about Gyro Mazda screwing-up oil changes. This is a simple procedure. If they can't get this right, it doesn't bode well for more complex repairs.

The car was for my wife, she already knew what she wanted, so it was fast and easy decision , so the whole process of buying the car was over quickly. The car I bought was second hand it was slightly damage (door), but when I picked it up, it looked like new.. I already own Mazda CX5, so if you are looking for a car, look for Mazda. I had the same experience as Derek. I had negotiated what I thought was final deal, signed bill of sale, and made an order for a 2015 Mazda 3GT. Thanks to unhaggle I negotiated $400 off invoice. However, the car took 2.5 months to arrive because it was factory ordered, the dealer made no attempts to offer me alternatives (ie. similar model at other dealers lot) and failed to communicate expectations with me (very amateurish). When i finally rec'd my car, in my excitement of finally getting my long waited car, i discovered that Jack Jin (the finance manager) had added a $442 Titan 2 Option (supposed 2-yr warranty to repair dings) without my knowledge or consent. Yes I signed the final bill of sale, but it was reasonable to expect your final bill of sale to be exactly the same as the original. However, Jack Jin, probably realizing that they were not going to make any money off of me, slipped in this $442 option without consuting IN ADVANCE. Very underhanded and dishonest. I went into Gyro Mazda with a lot of goodwill towards the dealership, however, the post sale experience was disastrous. What a shame for a family run business to let a couple of amateurs ruin a reputation. All I can say is that, folks, you are better off going to Westowne Mazda if you want a more positive sales and post sales experience.

Pre-sale experience was simple. They beat my offer and I'm happy with that.

Post-sales experience was lacking; it took a week and a phone call from me to learn that it would be a 2 month wait for the vehicle (factory order). I had to push for a dealer trade to get the vehicle earlier, 3.5 weeks after signing papers. In hindsight, I should have gotten the dealer to write down the delivery date on the bill of sale prior to signing.

Post-sales definitely soured the experience, but I'm not opposed to doing business with Gyro again when the lease is up. I'll just remember to get a delivery date in writing next time around.

UNPROFESSIONAL behaviour from Brenna. I booked an appointment to come down and test drive a vehicle and discuss purchasing options with Brenna early this past week (but I never got the chance do either of those things). I drove a long way to come see the car, and I arrived early for my appointment to be told that someone else is currently test driving the car (totally fine). Was told to wait until they got back. The other people interested in the car got back to talk to Brenna, yet she never checked in on us or gave us the option to take it for a drive (when we asked we got a rushed "yeah one minute" as she walked away from us). That minute turned into over 30 minutes as we sat in the waiting area for her to take care of her so called "valued customers". She never updated us on the status of the car and we probably would have been sitting there until closing if we hadn't left and talked to Paul on the way out (who was nice enough to try and find us something else). She never apologized for her actions and left us with a bad impression of the dealership. You should be taking care of all your clients.. not just the ones sitting in front of your desk.

Wish I could give zero (or negative) starts... Unfortunately, bought a new car with these crooks back in 2015. After taking the car to them for regular maintenance a couple times, I realized they are ripping me off in no small way. The GPS maps they sold me were already outdated, and the GPS never works in the cold. On my latest adventure there, I discovered that the overpriced extended warranty they sold me was from a 3rd party, not Mazda, so I had to pay for diagnostic fees and other things that the Mazda warranty would have covered. Also on this visit they wanted to charge me for work done under a recall for the handbrake. They also told me I need full front and rear brakes (pads and rotors) as well as belt replacement and a brake fluid flush. As for the GPS and back-up camera not working in the cold, they wanted to charge $155 diagnostic fee, even though these issues are well known and documented. This, after doing nothing, because it was not a cold day when I took it in, so obviously it was working. I showed them photo's of the error message I was getting, but there were more interested in my money.

I took my car, with the list of items they said needed work, to a respectable shop, steps away, and was told that the belt was perfectly fine, the front brakes had another 15k to go, and the brake fluid flush was done as part of the recall. I saved about $1300 by going to Ari's. Clearly, Gyro are crooks, doing unnecessary work, asking for money for things covered by recall, etc. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO GYRO

I came here to buy my second Mazda in the same year and wish I would have gone here the first time also. The first day that I came in was, if I remember correctly, 1st week of August or may be last week of July 2019. But as Gyro has a pretty comprehensive test drive route to experience a car in all aspects, that's what caught my eye when I pinged them online.

Danielle , as she mentioned this savvy title, uhm i think πŸ€”πŸ€”, online specialist (again i think and I am not sure!! 😁) responded to my request. I dropped by one morning for an awesome but a bit scary drive (i kinda messed up... My bad!! πŸ˜’πŸ˜’). I was happy with the experience and sort of made up my mind there. Especially because Danielle had a pretty unique way of giving me a feel of the car along with how to enjoy it, as if I was already owning it. I loved that feel and I don't know if I thanked Danielle enough but kudos to you, Anna, Valerie and your team.

Before and on the D-day of me picking up the sparkling new red 2019 mazda 3, I had and was troubling Anna as well as Danielle a lot with small favors. Danielle is usually pretty busy but Anna took over to help me out with the smallest and detailed favors that I was always hesitant to bother Anna-Maria with. She was very much polite and helpful until the final paperwork, delivery and the final zoom-zoom out of the dealership. Thank you so much and more Anna-Maria.

I visited this dealership a total of four times starting with obtaining information about a specific vehicle, test driving the vehicle, arranging a sale and finally picking up the vehicle. In all cases the staff I met were friendly and helpful. There was no "hard sell" but I felt they wanted my business and were happy to help me make an informed choice. In the end they were quickly able to locate the vehicle that I wanted and everything proceeded very smoothly. I felt I got a good deal. Ryan was my salesperson, he was patient and understanding enough to answer all of my questions as well as thoroughly explain the differences between any models/makes, he really helped me learn a lot about what I want in a car.

Jack & Viji helped with the financial side of things and reviewed every aspect of the bill of sale with me and my wife. They explained the benefits of having an extended warranty, as well as the paint/interior/rust protection in detail.

Rita coordinated the car delivery for us, she was able to show us all of the features available on the vehicle and taught us the basics of any of the available functions we asked about.

I am pretty disappointed in this dealership. We purchased a used Hyundai here recently and were promised that the rust under the hood would be completed removed by either changing the hood or buffing down to the metal to coat it as brand new so that the rust would be completely gone.

We were promised a delivery date and coming from Brantford to Gyro Mazda is about a 2 hour drive. We were not told that the delivery date was pushed because the rust under the hood was not fixed until we arrived and that was very frustrating and poor customer service as my husband had to take the day off from work and lost a days worth of pay. Plus he would need to take an additional day off to travel again to pick up the vehicle.

They apologized when we went for the pushed delivery date which was nice and appreciated and the transaction was completed. However about 1 and a half months after, under the hood has rusted again in the same spot leaving me to believe it was a cheap and shady job with just a cover up as opposed the a full repair that was promised.

There were a couple staff members that were very nice and kind which is why I am giving a 2 star however I have to give low ratings due to the experience during and post purchase. Though I cannot comment on purchasing or leasing a new vehicle, I would recommend to purchase a used vehicle elsewhere.

EDIT: Thanks to the owner for reaching out to my husband to rectify the situation and replace the hood. Much appreciated which is why I have changed the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Thank you for taking the time to address our concern and to back your company value!

Ok, so I bought my Mazda 3 here on a great deal. Zero percent and no down payment! I bought the demo car which really wasn’t any different from a brand new car. Amazing staff, super friendly and knowledgeable.

And when I was in accident a few weeks ago, all I had to do was bring the car back in. Again, I received my car in excellent condition after the repairs. They had cleaned all of the car - including my dirty mats! Thank you guys!

Oh, and they have a shuttle service that gets you to anywhere you want when you drop your car for services, nice driver, I think his name was Jim.

Just bought a CX-5 from Gyro and the experience truly has been outstanding start to finish. Andrew sales person was absolutely great to deal with, very knowledgeable and put no pressure on myself. Was pleasure dealing with Jack and George as well, who were very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I hope service department will be just as great as sales. There is always someone at reception, as well good waiting space with coffee. Definitely recommend this location, especially mentioned employees !
