Just bought a used Mazda Hatchback and I'm very pleased with the car and the service. The car was provided in good condition with a new set of tires and brakes, and despite some scuffs on the exterior, these were buffed out and waxed so as to be virtually unnoticeable on delivery. Farzam Abdi helped us through the buying process along with Mike the sales manager. Coco was incredibly knowledgeable and excited to assist with payment and warranty options - she is an asset to the team. Who knew buying a car could be this enjoyable!

I bought a used car from Allan Metty@ Mazda Of Richmond Hill. The delivery date was two weeks from the day we made the deal. He dropped the ball and delivered the car late. I picked up the car drove home and the next day the battery was dead and the tire was flat. I fixed the tire and called Allen about the battery. I also spoke to Andrew Currie GM. After playing phone tag with Allen for a few days he told me I was on my own regarding the battery. And that because I got a good deal the dead battery is not their issue. I can only assume Andrew is on the same page as Allen. In conclusion don't trust this dealer .Your stereo typical used car sales person. And apparently this Mazda store does not care about customer satisfaction. And that $100 is worth more than a happy customer and potential future sales.

After Allen messaged me and before Andrew left voicemail today I took my car to a local shop and had a battery installed! How is it two “managers” from the same store are not moving in the same direction?One said you got a good price so no money left for a battery, the other tells me to bring the car in and we will help you. Too bad this was not addressed properly the first time I asked Allen for help on the 23rd ! Now I have an additional $150 out of pocket because of this game they play to avoid any impact on their profits!

Was told I needed to spend hundreds of dollars for a "brake service" to keep the warranty valid. Next visit they tapped me on the shoulder, quietly took me to the back room, and told me my 1.5 year old car needed 2k worth of brakes - and that brakes are wear and tear and not under warranty.

I even got blamed for my driving habits- even though brakes last 10+ years on my German cars.

Recently moved to the area and it was my first time servicing my car at this location. Overall I was pleased with the service. I felt I was presented with clear information on the status of my vehicle. I appreciated the extra time taken to discuss findings and whether any recommendations they had were actually necessary. I was asked about previous servicing and driving history to help explain how some of the findings could be mistaken and was given the freedom to defer any additional work until I had the opportunity to review the findings on my own time. Not once did I feel pressured to authorize additional work or repairs. It is a shame they don't have shuttle service on the weekends but switching to this location saved me a 40 min drive where I would have been stuck anyway. They do offer great fresh ground coffee and access to WiFi.

Not honest people! Be careful if you have your car there for a service...

I was there for my previous oil change service about 2-3 months ago. After the service was done, the manager (of service department?) came to me and told me the brake fluid is darkened and should be replaced. The cost of such a service was around $120. I told him I will replace brake fluid in my next service.

I took my car to a Canadian Tire auto service yesterday for oil change. I specifically asked them to look at the oil brake and let me know if there is anything wrong with that. Long story short, they told me that there was nothing wrong with the brake fluid and it was not discolored at all! Also, the costs of oil changing with them was about $10 lower than this MAzda dealership.

In conclusion, the auto service of this dealership tries to rip you off.

The only positive comment I can give them is that their lounge is comfortable and coffee was good as well!

I want to share a little bit about my recent experience at Avante Mazda. My wife had an accident a few weeks ago with the kids in the car. Fortunately they came out of the accident with only a few bruises but it did affect them quite a bit emotionally. Our previous car, a 2008 Mazda3 kept them safe but was a write-off.

The accident forced us into being in the market for a new car. After quite a bit of research and comparing a few models within our price range, the 2014 Mazda3 once again seemed like the best option for us in terms of price range, safety ratings, fuel consumption and overall customer reviews and ratings.

A neighbour mentioned to us that Avante was an excellent dealership. We did some research on pricing and then made contact with Anne-Marie at the dealership. Anne-Marie introduced me to Gautam Shah on a Monday during my lunch break to start the conversation and to learn more about the models and options available to us. I was so pleasantly surprised during our first meeting. He was nothing like the “horror story” car sales people you often hear about. Gautam was extremely approachable and immediately made me feel comfortable, like someone we could trust. After landing on a specific model and set of options, Gautam set us up for a test drive for that same evening.
My family visited the dealership that evening. Shortly after our arrival, Gautam greeted us and took us to the car that was ready for us to test. Both my wife and I loved our experience with the car. It was a smooth ride, handling was very good and it seemed like an all-around solid, safe and fun car.

Back at the dealership we sat down to discuss pricing and features. At no point did Gautam ever make us feel pressured into buying anything. He did describe all the options, features and benefits in detail, allowing us to make an educated decision as to what we wanted out of this new car. We finally settled on the 2014 Mazda3 GS with the convenience package. We absolutely loved that all pricing was discussed showing full prices instead of surprising us later with lots of extra fees like I've experienced at other dealerships in the past. Although we weren't expecting this new expense in our lives before the accident, we quickly arrived at a price that we felt was very fair for us based on the research we’d done. Gautam had us sign some paper-work (it was after business hours and he never rushed us) and let us know that he would do his best to get the car ready for us soon since our insurance would only cover the rental for a few days.

We got the call on Tuesday letting us know that the car would be ready on that same Friday (well ahead of schedule). We arrived on Friday, quickly filled out the last bit of paper-work and were ready to go enjoy our new car. The photo of us with the bow on the car and the bottle of champagne were very nice touches!

After such an emotional and stressful experience like an accident, the last thing one needs is more stress. Avante Mazda, Gautam Shah, Anne-Marie, the person at reception and any other employees we ran into made our car buying experience a fantastic experience. My wife was actually excited to go to the dealership to see her new car, which was a welcome site after what she had just experienced. Every step of the way was so smooth at Avante! Scheduling our meetings, the test drive, pricing, handling everything for ownership and insurance, the delivery day and even the follow-up email after the purchase with genuine wishes of congratulations and offering to be there for us… it was all so efficient and attentive to our needs.

I will highly recommend Avante Mazda to anyone in the market for a new Mazda. They are not like other dealerships and I mean that as a huge compliment! Thank you so much for taking care of us.
