I bought my new Mazda3 GS automatic on May 17th 2018. The salesman I dealt with, Tohme Hussein, was fantastic. Very accommodating, personable, friendly. I would definitely deal with him again! The dealership, Bank Street Mazda, is very well located, clean and inviting. The overall experience was very pleasant. Even after I bought the car and noticed the Airbag light on, I took it to the service department the very next day and the issue was promptly resolved.
We walked into the Bank Street Mazda dealership on September 30, 2017 not expecting to purchase a new vehicle but only to see what was available as a small/medium car. We were greeted by a young salesperson named Ryan Richard. He was very professional, helpful, friendly, kind, knowledgeable and ensured our requirements were met. After test driving the Mazda CX3 we decided to deal with Ryan to make the unexpected purchase. We would greatly recommend this dealership and ask for Ryan Richard for great service without pressure.

This place relies on a lot of the frustrating cliches of car salesman... trying to insist that a bad deal they're giving you is "incredible", incessant back-and-forth with managers in back rooms, coming back to you with you excellent biweekly rates (without telling you that they've changed the term length so they've just jacked the total price of the vehicle by a couple thousand dollars), etc.
They also try to make you feel *very* guilty for wanting to compare prices and were constantly pressuring me to stay there (even when I insisted I wouldn't be buying and just wanted to get a sense of numbers).
When I told the manager I was comparing a few different hatchbacks, he asked me condescendingly if I "realized that there's actually a difference between two different cars, they're not all made the same". The same manager was rude to me on the phone later on when he called and I told him I had purchased a vehicle from a different brand (*scoff* , "Well, see you in 6 months when you decide you want to trade it in!" *hangs up*)
Don't get me wrong - a lot of this nonsense is just par for the course in dealerships. However, I still would never go back here and have instructed my friends and family not to go there either.
I later went to the Mazda dealership in Kanata and found them to be MUCH more polite and patient, so that's a good bet if you're looking to buy a Mazda. Worth the trip out to Kanata.
I booked a test drive with this Mazda dealership as I am in market to purchase a new car. I think the sales guy didnt take me very seriously....I really do not know why some reasons i am thinking:
a) I am a woman
b) My lease did not end for another 3 months
c) he really didnt want a sale
Anyway I am still looking and I need to purchase a new car within 2 months. I am reluctant to go back to this dealership.
Maddening experience! Sunny Chadha would not quote unless I visited the dealership. He told me in writing that his quote was "the best price you could get across Canada", then when I bought elsewhere at a lower price he rubbed it in my face by telling me in writing that he would have taken another $500 off if I had given him a chance. In fact I did give him a chance, but he didn't return my call (or else just left no message) and then blamed it on me in writing saying that he had called me twice. The original quote also came with a catch, as it was contingent on me taking out a phony 30-day loan so that they could get some incentive from a financial institution. When I mentioned that as one of the reasons that I bought elsewhere, Sunny told me that I didn't have to take the loan if I didn't want to. It's sad when they can't stop the bull even after losing the sale. The dealership called me a while later to ask about my experience, but the moment I mentioned that I had bought elsewhere she ended the call; obviously just disguising her attempt to get me back in for another sales pitch. Needless to say I will not willingly return to this dealership, and based on my interaction with some other Mazda dealers, I may not even return to the brand.
Quick service, very visible scratch rear top bumper, salesman did not take the time to verify merchandise that could have ended up costy for client at end of lease, but big big bad, asked 8,2k for my car, sslesperson came back with a monthly price saying it's ok, not showing buyback (wich was 7k only....) they adjusted to 7.5k when I insisted, but still. Was never shown cost price of the car slthough they promised cost +3%.... Not sure I'll go back.
I took a trip from Montreal in hopes that they would take my travel into considerations. I did my homework and to my surprise the trip was a waist. I understand the sales game, however, I feel that I was not being taken seriously and basically left empty handed. I would not recommend Bank street dealership to even the locals. Nice car, but could not come to a reasonable deal. The funny thing about it. I asked for a breakdown in how the sales person came up with the price, and I couldn't get a straight answer....I believe the words were "don't worry about it, your getting a good deal". Don't worry about the details....?
I had a very comfortable experience with bank Street Mazda. I felt that I was able to make a decision on my own without any undue pressure. Congratulations Zein, you are good at what you do and I am happy with my Mazda5.

He didn't try to up sell us on anything, he didn't pressure us at all. He took the time to explain all the features of the car. I went into Mazda looking to purchase my first vehicle. I was in contact with Jimmy who asked me to come in at a time that worked for both of us. I finally found a dealership that greeted me at the door with smiles literally everyone was smiling which is very warming. (Of course Christians smile stood out the most). Very relaxed, yet informative and we came to fair deal thanks to his flexibility. Great test drive as well, he got me to put the car to work and was able highlight all the features during the ride. I walked into the bank street Mazda dealership not knowing what to expect, but I was greeted by a salesperson named Mostapha (Moose). He was extremely helpful and kind, he provided excellent service. I felt comfortable and I knew this is where I wanted to get my car. I was thinking of buying a small car and the Mazda 3 was one of my options. Mostapha answered all my questions and he was really able to listen to what I wanted. After the test drive, I decided to get one. All my expectations and more were met.
