***BUYER BEWARE***

We bought a Mazda 3 from Achilles Mazda and were upsold on a $1100 body scratch/rust and interior package, where we were explicitly told that ANY and ALLALL scratches or interior tears will be fixed by this dealership. Additional to that, the to make sure there were no misunderstandings, I asked if I should bring the car in per scratch, the lady explained to let them build up and come say, once a year to get them all done at once. Not bad, eh? Not true.

When we went to take the car in for scratch repair, we were told that this was not the case and were given a touch up pen for our troubles. Whatever portion of the package was for the scratches, was essentially the price of that pen. The gentleman who gave us the pen explained that we were one of a number of customers claiming the same terms of the package.

I called Achilles personally to not only report the misinformation, but to be reimbursed the cost of the package, as we wouldhave never purchased it unless the scratch portion of the package was included. At first, Achilles was willing to investigate and return our call in a week.

Fast forward two weeks. No call.

I called back to know the progress of the investigation. Achilles said it was still being looked at and to expect a call in a week. Patiently, I agreed.

Fast forward 10 days. No call.

Calling back to the dealership, Achilles was now less willing to help and clearly irate, which told me he found what he hoped he wouldn't and further hoped we would go away. Brashly, Achilles told me he would call me in a week. Not this time. I insisted he give me an answer and my money. He at first refused, to which I told him I'd be there in 5 mins. When I arrived, Achilles was out front of the dealership with my money, yelling, no, screaming, at me, telling me to never return to that dealership - all because I asked for either what I paid for, or my money back. Nothing more.

If you, a) want honest service, or b) what you paid for, this is not your dealership.

With supervisors present, they allowed a female employee that worked in the service area counter to not have her PPE on. However, I can't say the same for the service department, as they were quick to misdiagnose and dismiss an uncommon issue on a vehicle with less than 8000km, TWICE.

Brought the concern to Leggat Mazda, and they had the issue resolved within an hour.

Friendly service but disappointed and concerned for safety with customers, service and sales staff not wearing proper PPE and practicing social distancing. While service had a plastic shield we had service representatives walk past this and us without PPE. We appreciate the service person collecting cars wore globes and mask and someone taking a test drive wore proper PPE. However in the showroom sales people walked around us without masks. Why?? Too bad as we are shopping for an SUV. They did call me to follow up and I've updated this review to be more accurate

It's hard to write this because Achilles Mazda is a good family run dealership and since I bought my first Mazda (2014 Mazda3) I've had nothing but good dealings with them, up until this week. I went in for an oil change this week, I do this still after my warranty is up because I'm loyal and I like their customer service. I also had a new arm rest that I bought from Achilles Parts department because on a previous appointment they recommend it. ( I attempted to put it in but realized it was a bigger job then I thought.) So I asked if they had time can you install it as well as the oil change. When my car was ready the service person came out to tell me that it didn't need the part it was simply a loose screw or something and the technician tightened it up without an extra charge. Great right? So I thanked them and the technician, and asked to return the part as it was not actually needed. They asked for a receipt, I don't have it, I asked for them to look it up in the system, it was there, (since I did buy it from them) they said I couldn't return it with out a receipt. I said under normal circumstances I would understand, however... I bought the part under the assumption from you that I needed it, and now we find out I don't. They weren't budging. The next day I called the parts supervisor, he was aware that I'd be calling and stuck to the same reason I was given, they need the receipt because it has a transaction number on it and that's the only way they can give a refund. The best I could get out of him was to replace it with other Mazda parts ie. Filter or windshield wipers, which he did not offer I had to ask for at least this so I'm not stuck with a part I don't need. I hope the owner reads this and does something because even if this transaction number is true, it's not in Achilles Mazda's nature to treat customers like this.
Soon after this post I got a call from the owner and he has rectified the issue and I will be getting a full refund. Thank you Achilles Mazda!

Achilles Mazda and it’s entire team are professional while keeping a light hearted attitude. Everyone in the service department including the manager are there to help you and will go above and beyond for the satisfaction of their customers. They actually offer options to your situation, are understanding and prompt to get you and your vehicle back on the road in its best condition. They will keep you updated through out any repairs you need so everyone is on the same page. The sales team also are respectful and knowledgeable of what they sell and have and will listen to you in regards to what you are actually looking for in a vehicle with out being bias.

I requested more info about a 2019 demo that was posted at a great price online through Achilles but I was already towards the end of my buying decision and was closing the gap. Derek at Achilles Mazda reached out and provided me with really helpful information with no overwhelming sales pressure and I was so impressed with his personel skills that I am now sitting here writing this review. If I hadn't already committed to another deal I would have made the drive to Milton (and I live nowhere close to there). My son-in-law, who is a first generation immigrant bought his first brand new vehicle at this dealership. After he bought the car he was notified by the salesperson that the interior colour he wanted was a different colour then the one he requested. The experience was challenging. I must say that we were incredibly disappointed and discouraged at the time. Later that day we received a call from the dealer ownership and frankly as distressed as we were Achilles managed not only to diffuse the issue, he made us very happy customers. We picked up the vehicle on the day scheduled and he personally handled the final aspects of the transaction. This person turned a complete negative into an absolute positive. I work in the customer sales and service field myself and I frankly thought he did an outstanding job. I am not easily impressed but Achilles Mazda went well beyond the norm to ensure we were satisfied customers. We are grateful and we highly recommend Achilles and his dealership to anyone. We also got a suv that rides like a dream and the warranties are outstanding, especially if you put a lot of miles on your vehicle.

I purchased a Mazda CX-5 2 months ago from my local Mazda dealership in Mississauga. A few weeks into owning the car, the tire pressure light went on and we wanted to get it checked out. Unfortunately, despite giving my local Mazda 2 CX5 sales (my dad bought one at the same time), when it comes to getting service it was nearly impossible. We could never get a hold of the service department, we were told we would get called back and never did. Finally after a week of trying, we gave up on our local Mazda, and decided to try Mazda of Milton instead.

As soon as we called, we were able to get an appointment. I brought my car in a few days later. One of the things that I observed was that they had missed a call, and shortly called back the caller asking if they needed assistance booking an appointment. This alone impressed me, considering how impossible it was to get in touch with my local Mazda's Dept.

They were able to quickly diagnose the issue, and I found the service charge to be fair. I found the service staff to be very friendly and customer focused. Going forward, I am going to bring my Mazda here even though it's 20 mins away (vs my local one being 5). They actually seem to pick up the phone and have a very professional service team! Hopefully my next service appointment will be just as promising.

I’ve been a very happy owner of a Mazda CX-3 for a year now, so this review is long overdue but it also gave me the opportunity to experience and rate all the services that this dealership has to offer and I can tell you that all the great reviews here are no exaggeration! The entire team at Achilles Mazda is setting the bar really high in terms of standard of excellence for overall customer satisfaction. I have only words of praise for all the members of the team that I’ve dealt with during this year, and the services that I received, from transparent services and helping me make an educated purchase, without any pressure whatsoever, to assistance with financing and beyond and quality service/maintenance work.
They ace as a team and they are all genuinely awesome people, but I must specifically mention Derek Mandy, who was, and continues to be during all of our interactions a year later, Phenomenal (yes, with a capital “P”) in terms of professionalism, transparency, promptness to help, knowledge of models, vehicles in general and market, and, not least, patience.
It was my first vehicle purchase so I was probably the typical client nightmare, with tons of questions, multiple visits, test driving different models, etc, yet I never felt pressured to purchase anything from them, never felt that I bothered them with my questions and I always felt welcome. Derek helped break down the options for me and he helped me make an informed decision, one that he ensured I was happy with, by comparing models and costs and test driving different vehicles.
Tracey was amazing in handling the financing portion of the transaction, giving me a thorough break down of financing options, pricing and showing me exactly what I would be paying, including hidden bank fees. Derek and Tracy also helped find the specific colour of the vehicle that I wanted, and arranged for a replacement vehicle until my car arrived.
Even after the purchase, Tracey liaised with the service team for me and arranged prompt upgrades for my vehicle and Derek took the time, on separate occasions, to go over all the features of my vehicle, both with me, as well as with my family. After that, all throughout this year, whenever we had a question, or needed something, the team was there ready to help.
What impresses me the most is that we truly felt welcome and a part of the Mazda family even before we purchased the vehicle from them and we continue to feel this way a year later. It’s really refreshing to see this type of customer service and human interaction nowadays.

From the moment reception answered my phone call to the last second when I drove away my new Mazda, the experience very positive. At no point during the transaction did we feel any sales pressure. We well allowed to make our decision without pressure. Jennifer our sales rep, was very knowledgeable and patient. Thank you for your great service. The entire staff was super friendly. One of the things that blew me away was, the other sales people's warm reception. Although I was working with Jennifer, the others engaged with my wife and I so positively. We truly felt like one of the family even after the sale was completed. I think the atmosphere has a lot to due with the management team as well, they set the mood for their employees. Finally, I want to thank Tracey who maid the credit application and approval a pleasure. It is so refreshing that in 2019, there are still organizations who treat their clients with respect and dignity. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The pre-owned certified Mazda was slightly more than other used options, but I recieved the car in a mechanically perfect shape with brand new tires. This was shocking. 80% or used vehicles are safetied with expired/illegal tires and consequently mayb have a number of undisclosed mechanical issues. Customer "purchase" service is wonderful. Will write back about their "service" service when time comes. I am glad to be back to the Mazda family!

The reviews are real here guys. It might be hard to believe, but this is an honest, trustworthy dealership with knowledgeable employees. I had a problem with Budd's Mazda in Oakville (pressure tactics and very immature unprofessional salesman) so I was apprehensive about going to another dealership but as soon as Achilles contact me I knew it was different. He was upfront about the price, there were no hidden fees, no pressure tactics, he actually treats you with the respect you deserve. If you are like I was, and nervous about going to look at a car, take my advice and look no further. Achilles and his staff will find you the right car and they will treat you well in the process. I really wish I went here first. Achilles is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and there wasn't a question I asked about the car that he didn't know. Bravo Achilles, if all car dealerships were run by you then they wouldn't have a bad name.

Our main "helpers" were Tracy and Lisa and they both made the whole process smooth and easy. The second we stepped into the dealership she took us under her wing and walked us through everything and then setup the car for a test drive. Everything was a piece of cake with her and honestly have never had a much more amazing car dealership experience. I would not hesitate to go back to Lisa for anything, and her email responses are unbelievable. I know you're all wondering, so how's the pricing. Let's put it this way, Achilles Mazda gets straight to the point. I couldn't even haggle with them anymore because I came in knowing what I wanted, and they essentially were right there if not slightly better before I had to even put up a stink.
