So, this is sorta a different angle of review for my 2010 Mazda CX7. In this review I'm going to talk about how my car performed during a highway accident that happened on my way to work today.

I was driving down highway 8south and going towards King Street when I got hit on my passenger side.

My car spun 180° and I tried to regain control of my vehicle when I started to roll down the ditch. At this point everything happened on slow motion. I remember instinctively covering my head as the car was rolling. And next thing I knew it all stopped. When it finally hit me that the car was now fine and in place I self evaluated myself realizing I saw no blood, and felt no sharp pains anywhere.

It's been 14hrs since my accident and I'm starting to feel the soreness but I genuinely am impressed with how well my car held up to a highway accident this morning.

Thanks Mazda for a product that kept me safe.

I wouldn’t prefer you take ur car here for service, I grantee they will try to force u to buy more things that you don’t need. I didn’t appreciate the force to buy things I didn’t need, I told them I won’t be coming back. Be careful, if you go there for an oil chance make it clear!!! Just oil change and don’t try to sell me anything unless I tell u.

I am from Etobicoke but was in Guelph for the day. My Mazda had an issue and I called Guelph City Mazda for some service help. Ryan (the service manager) was very patient and talked me through possible fixes for the problem I was having. His top concern was to help me over the phone and not unnecessarily have me come into the dealership to charge me for having a look at it. For that I am very appreciative and would highly recommend this location.

Went for a diagnosis for my Mazda3 because I was hearing a lot of road noise. I described the noise as coming from the back, increasing with volume as we increased speed, and said we think it's a bearing. When I got the call back I was told that it was the front ball joints and the fix would be over $1,000. Which does not make sense for what I described so I took it in to someone else who agreed it was a bearing, repaired it and everything works perfectly for around half of what this dealership told me.
I won't be taking my car back for any service.

Can't speak to purchasing a vehicle there, but had my 3 Sport serviced once and once only. Was told that my brake pad depth was critically low. Took it to my regular garage to get the pads replaced, and was told that they were perfectly fine for at least another year or so. Glad one of the two places was honest. I added a star for what would have been a 1-star rating as the oil change was performed adequately. Won't be going back.

She would not shut up about the features of the different Mazda 3’s. I couldn’t even get a word in to mention my wife owns one already so I’m aware of everything she was saying. At least she knows her products very well, I’ll give her that. Please teach your salespeople to listen to the customer and not talk so much.

Terrible and rude service, 0 loyalty.

I bought my car new in 2017. Had it serviced always with Mazda with the exception of one oil change. They claimed they could not service my brakes under warranty despite purchasing all the extended coverage and always servicing it with Mazda whenever the mileage indicated to service.

I had grooving in my brakes which they failed to spot in the last servicing (noted by someone who saw my car on the driveway). I took their word for it the brakes were ok.

It has been noticed again since and they confirmed this time specifically that the brakes did indeed need fixing. They claimed it was too many miles since the last servicing, despite no indication that this was needed and no information from their part.

I have brought the car into the dealership I bought it at (GCM) and never will again. Even when I told them I did not want to pay for servicing and not to perform it if it can't be done under warranty, the manager promptly hung up on me before I could even arrange a shuttle ride back despite the fact that they had my car.

Never purchase or service your car at Guelph City Mazda if you want honesty, transparency or polite service.

Edit: regardless of what 'your findings' were it's irresponsible and rude to hang up on your customers when they have no way of getting back to their vehicle. It's unacceptable and I am taking up the matter with your corporate office. You can contact me directly using the phone number in your system if you wish to do so.

I purchased a Mazda CX3 at Mazda’s Guelph location back in April. From the moment I walked in Bill was laidback, friendly, and never once made me feel pressured to buy.

I originally came in with about 45 mins left til closing time and Bill never cut me off or made me feel rushed. He said “why don’t you come back tomorrow and we’ll go for a test drive. I want to take you out on a rally course so you can really see what this vehicle can do!”

I was worried it would feel awkward him in the car with us, but it felt like we were going for a ride with an old friend. I had been so used to dealers handing me the keys and off I went - very little care, and as soon as I got back there was always the usual pitch - “what can I do to get you to sign today?!” That was never the case with Bill. Formerly a driving instructor, he is perfectly suited to take you out on the open road and show you what the car can really do. He had us hammer on the gas, slam on the break, take tight corners, turns etc. The test drive was FUN and informative.

The conversation was easy, Bill is basically a combination of my husband and I, and we just had a blast. When we got back to the office we discussed options and when we asked what the best deal was he could give us, he pulled it all up on his computer in front of us, completely transparent about what he could offer. Other places we went had to go “speak to their manager” and it was always closed door whispered conversations. Not at Mazda.

The owner chatted with us as well to ensure we knew no matter what we would be taken care of. he’s been in business a very long time and I can see why - customer service next to NONE. If you’re looking for a quality vehicle with amazing finance rates and top notch customer service, I urge you to visit Guelph Mazda and while I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any of the sales staff, I would recommend Bill any day! Tell him Ty and Marina sent you :).

Good experience when you are looking to buy. The sales rep that i had (Bill Roach) was fantastic, not pushy at all.

The financial guy was pushy with selling extended warranties which I'm glad I decided against buying since it doesnt seem like they will actually fix things under warranty.

The problems appear after you purchase when you bring it in for service. The first time I brought it in for normal service they didnt mention anything to me about the breaks other than that they were "all good". Then when i had my tires changed by my own mechanic it was him that pointed out wear on one of the rotors.

This is when i brought the vehicle back into the dealership explaining the uneven wear on one of the rotors that had been pointed out and shown to me. They said Mazda considered this to be normal wear for a 5 month old car with 4500 km. My mechanic disagrees and says that if this was normal wear then youd see it on all of the rotors not on just one.

It also seems that early rotor wear is a common mazda problem. The customer in front of me at the service department had similar wear and the service manager was telling the customer before me the exact same things as he told me.

Service manager however was very polite while explaining to me that Mazda wont fix it. I wont be returning to them for service.

This dealership is incredible! I came with my boyfriend to pick up his car. The service was absolutely incredible. Not only did the owner and the accompanied sales representative provide refreshments, but they were genuine and incredible people that you could feel comfortable around. Everything was so clean and the environment was such a positive space. Not only did they get his car ready, the sales representative even got in the car and showed us all the car gadgets that they accompany with! Previous dealerships I have gone to did not take the time on the day the car is picked up and provide in-depth review of the car before you take off. What also blew my mind is they went through the car manual and booklet with us as well. I can honestly say they got me sold. They got me sold for my next car! They have beautiful, incredible, and amazing cars that are worth every penny due to the customer service provided at this dealership. Great car buying experience.

We were looking for a car to replace a 2017 Kia Niro that was a write off. Before going back to Kia and getting another Niro which was a great car. I decided to take a look at other dealers SUV to see what they had to offer.

After spending a weekend checking out everyone, I really did not like any of the vehicles.

I was heading to Kia to take a look at another Niro, at which point my wife said we should stop at Mazda and see the CX3, I was a bit reluctant as I never thought about buying a Mazda. We decided to check them out as they have a unlimited mileage warranty and I put on about 35k a year commuting to GTA.

Laurie the sales person that we dealt with was great, showed us the CX3. She was not pushie at all.

In the end we ended up buying a demo CX5 which was not much more then a new cx3

I am very surprised how far Mazda has come along. Before going in I was very against buying a Mazda. The finish and features are high quaility.

Laurie and the rest of the staff were very helpful and forth coming during the whole purchasing process. I highly recommend the dealer.

I have never experienced this kind of service when buying a new car before. I highly recommend them.

Would not trust this dealership with a tricycle. Spent 1000$ for a break job done at a near by mechanic only to have this dealership during a safety to say they want to redo it themselves to pass it. Technician complained that he did not like the firmness of my breaks stating he wanted to try and bleed the line and see how that worked (did not actually know what to do). Said the front struts looked a tad week and decided that deserved an 800$ repair bill which after viewed by two other mechanics including one other dealership, said was not needed has the struts were fun. The only thing they got right was one rear tire needed replacing but not anywhere near the cost they stated. Giant money grab do not bring your car here.
