I never really considered Mazda before. Took a shot on a 2020 CX 3. Love it. The team at Gary Moe Mazda shot straight and hit the mark. I went in later to have my autostart installed, part of the deal. From purchase to dealing with the service department it has been a stellar experience. I recently had my car repaired here. It was an awesome experience!!! Bruce was my service advisor and he explained what needed to be done, why, and the estimated cost and took care of it all.

I have had horrible experiences with another Gary Moe dealership in the past and so I was very apprehensive. Bruce completely changed that for me.... I will continue to have my car repaired here.

The nicest surprise was my car was washed and vacuumed when I picked it up.

Very disappointed, I purchased a 2018 Mazda 3 the end of 2018, with straight cash out right. And then tried to purchase a 2020 Mazda 3 the exact same, and they weren't able to match my deal with Sunridge Mazda in Calgary. I gave them the opportunity, and was paying straight cash out right again, but they couldn't match the deal. so ended up getting a Mazda 3 and buying from Sunridge Mazda, Calgary, for the same exact amount and car. And as I purchased a car before at Gary Moe in 2018, with straight cash out right, I would of thought that they could have done the deal. So they lost out on a straight cash deal, so there lost. I would of of really liked to have purchased another vehicle at Gary Moe, to support there local business there, but I had to go where I got the best deal.

I have no idea were to begin with the service I have received today. I have dropped my car off today at 8:30 am and told them what I need to have done my sport mood little button has fallen in i have never used it and there is no use for me to use it ever. I have been having a light flash on the middle on my dash for the seat belt that it isn't on and I told him it comes on when I have a passenger and there seat belt is on the light flashes but there is no chime. There is also a wrench symbol that i told them about. I have asked them how long will my vehicle be there for and they told me for about and hour and half i have waited till 11am and i called them to see if my vehicle is done and he tells me he will call me in 15 minutes and he is waiting to have the mechanic bring the paperwork up I have waited for 45 minutes and they didn't call me back I call them back again and he tells me that he isn't sure where the mechanic went off too, he thinks he is in the bathroom and will call me back. Half an hour goes by calls me and to tell me that they could not figure out what is going on with the seatbelt and telling me there is no light that flashes. When in fact it flashes the whole time I drive my vehicle with a passenger and without. He tells me he will try and figure it and call me back later, at 1:55pm I get a call and he tells me the car is ready to pick up. I go and was charged $156 because they couldn't find the problem and that I wasted the mechanics time while he could have been with someone else. My vehicle is under warranty and for the things I needed to get done some what the sport mood isn't under warranty and if I want the little clip to be fixed i need to pay $805.11 to get it fixed i would be paying $104.30 to replace clips for the sport mode switch and the rest on labor.. I paid they $156 grabbed the keys went to the car turned it on and the wrench symbol is still on the dash. My vehicle was there for 5 hrs. and nothing was done. This is why I don't like coming to Mazda they aren't good with giving according time and the price of an oil change is too much. They have become money hungry.

I’m usually not one to complain but today experience was way different then the experiences that I’ve had before. I came in today JUST wanting an oil change and he ask if I need any other maintenance and I said no. Which was fine then I get a text 20 mins later requesting me to phone them to talk about the maintenance checks but I again declined as I said before I only wanted an oil change. Then when I go to pick up my car he goes off AGAIN about maintenance checks! Like how many times does a girl have to say no! I get they are important but I have someone else looking after that why do I have to say no 3+ times. So I pay and I notice it’s quite a bit more in price then I usually pay but I just thought maybe the price went up so I didn’t think to ask about it. So I get home and look at my old papers from when I got an oil change last time and I notice that it’s about a 40 dollar difference! I then notice looking at the inspection paper that they may or may not have rotated my tires. Which they have never done before as they usually always ask, and I was NEVER ask or told about it today. So I phoned them wondering if they did do a rotation and was told they did! Why didn’t I get told that I need to come back and get them re-torqued? I don’t even live in Red Deer and I drive a lot on highways, that’s pretty dangerous not saying anything to me as I could possible loose a tire. Plus thanks for not asking if I need a tire rotation as I paid 40 dollars and I can get them done for free at my tire place. I won’t be back anytime soon after this experience of feeling harassed nor told that my tires were rotated.

Gary Moe Mazda lives up to their mission statement! I had to take my car in twice this month and they were passionate about their products. They believe in what they sell and are very knowledgeable about the 'why' behind what they do. They explored the options with me to make sure I was choosing the best thing. They take pride in their work and go above and beyond. They washed my car AND took out the floor mats and scrubbed all the mud off! (BEST THING EVER!) Lastly, my CX5 absolutely exceeds my expectations. With the added technology features I feel the safest I've ever felt driving long distances on the highway.

AVOID RIPOFF ARTISTS - Had a small bolt break on one of my brake calipers and for safety pulled into them on Gasoline Alley. $20 part was not available in Red Deer so I rented a car went to Calgary picked it up. Charged 1.5hrs in labour to replace, then they added a Shop Supplies charge even though I supplied parts, and on top of that added a Eco charge even though no parts were recycled. Disputed but would only remove $7 Eco charge. Appears Shop Supplies charge is on par to a resort fee at hotels. Close to $300 for nothing but labour for one brake part. Looks like they are used to ripping off people with no mechanical knowledge as a lot of song and dance when questioned.

My sales guy - 5 stars. The GM, 4 stars. The finance, Jenn, doesn't get a star. I suspect she's tunnel visioned and has a lack of business acumen to determine what occurred. We asked for MSRP, minus the dealership fees, minus all the rebates and are willing to pay that + tax. Pretty straight forward deal that the dealer had agreed upon. It's been about a month now and we haven't received documents to register the vehicle from Finance. It's a Mazda, so I don't really care too much about this car. But this just makes me chuckle; it seems that this logistic error is self inflicted on their end. It's too bad.

Kayden, the newest arrival to my service experience at Gary Moe in Red Deer, was an excellent sales guy, he was smart, quick, and whitty. He did all he could to keep up with me, and kept me in the loop.
He also made dealing with Jenn the finance manager extremely easy.

Went in to Mazda after having a pretty negative/pushy experience down the road at Honda.
And automatically knew we would be dealing here. Kaiden our salesman was very personable and didnt put on the big sales guy act. He actually listened to what we were after and understood our situation. We told him what we wanted out of the sale (freebies) and we worked as hard as he would to do so.

After having some difficulty with the banks everything was good to go. He worked along with my sister the whole way, letting her know what's going on.

Was shopping for a new AWD sedan, and the 2019 Mazda 3 GT was a top contender. Unfortunately, they were offering me $9k less than their competitor on the trade-in, and were unwilling to move on the price. Tried to work out a deal but they weren't returning my calls or texts until 2 weeks later, but at that point I already made my purchase elsewhere. Looks like a win-win to me.

My husband was able to booked the full detail appointment for the next week. The vehicle hadn’t been cleaned inside all winter and there was dirt, crumbs and animal hair throughout. The ladies did a fantastic job cleaning the inside. The carpets and seats were shampooed. The inside looked as if the car was brand new. A great job washing the outside too. We were very happy with the service we received and would highly recommend Gary Moe Detailing to anyone.

Terrible experience.
1. I had my winter tires put on my SUV, they put random car tires that were sizes to small on my SUV. Let them me drive away like that.
2. I stored my summer tires at their shop. When I went to get they put on, they had LOST them... They were brand new summer tires...
3. I had my SUV looked at, it needed work, I knew that. We spent $1200 getting it "fixed". THREE DAYS later... It blew up on the side of the road... They told me "oh totally unrelated".
4. For all their mistakes, they were only willing to help me out if I bought a new vehicle through them.. Meaning they would "cut me a check for $1000," is what the manager Aaron said. Why would I do business here ever again?!!
DON'T do business here. They are scattered and I believe they either have no idea what they are doing or was I just an easy target?

Called them at 10am to purchase a vehicle I looked at previously. I specifically asked them to add an extra sum of money to my agreement for cash back in the form of a cheque upon signing because I was heading out of town again the next morning. They assured me it would be no problem. I drove from Medicine Hat and signed the paperwork. Right away they asked me to do their customer review on their kiosk. It seemed like a good sales experience up until now. Right after I was done, I was told I couldn't have the cheque until the following day and had to wait in the showroom with 4 small kids for two hours while they cleaned my new car. I busted my butt to give them everything they needed for a smooth transaction, why couldnt they uphold their end of the deal? The issue sounds petty, I know. It soured the sales experience in a big way. Keep up the good work. 👎
