Poor experience. Moe offered $6000 less for trade in than 5 other dealerships, did not detail cost of the car to purchase and the numbers did not add up. Sales guy called several times after and would not leave a message. When I finally answered when he called and I was available, he claimed they “might be able to do better” on my trade in. I feel like they tried to take advantage of a female looking to purchase a new vehicle, assuming I did not know what I was talking about. Furthermore, he criticized the CERTIFIED MECHANICS that serviced my trade in vehicle, claiming that they were not knowledgeable about my vehicle and may not have serviced it properly. Very unprofessional and would never recommend them. I did not buy from them.
I wanted to give them a half star but the system would not allow it.

I finally decided to check out Sundance Mazda, and everyone I met was great. From the moment I walked into the day I picked up my car, was a pleasant experience. Hope McLeod was a pleasure to meet and work with, and I never felt pressured to buy or purchase anything. It was about getting the dream car that I always wanted for a price that I was comfortable with paying. Although I had made agreements, I had time to change my mind and I didn't feel pressure to make a decision right then and there. The whole experience was so wonderful that I regret not going in sooner. I recommend Sundance Mazda to anyone who wants a great experience without the pushy salespeople.

Do not buy a vehicle from this dealership. My mother in law had bought her vehicle from this dealership. She bought a 2015 Mazda 3 brand new..and she has less then 15000 km on the vehicle and has had nothing but problems. The vehicle dies and will not start. Always needs a boost. They have replaced the battery and have had it in the shop many time for this issue with no change. All they say is drive it more. She drives regularly and it still dies. Don't matter how much or little , it dies.
Sundance Mazda has not offered to help find the solution. Therefore I recommend not to buy from this dealership. They just lost a loyal customer and she will be purchasing a vehicle else where.

Most of my experiences have been great at Sundance. The one that wasn’t was dealt with appropriately by the Service Manager. They have kept my 11 year old Mazda Tribute running like a top. It has never needed anything but regular maintenance and upkeep for normal wear and tear. I hope to drive it into the ground or until I can no longer get parts for it, whichever comes first. Then I will get a new Mazda CX-5, and I promise myself heated seats and steering wheel next time!

If I could give a negative rating, I would. This dealership in general is okay... but the customer service that I received from JERRY, was absolutely appalling. I recently purchased my first vehicle from this dealership. I was new to the whole process and was gathering the proper documents I needed in order to pick the vehicle up. When I inquired via phone if I could come later on in the week to pick up the vehicle, JERRY was extremely curt and subtly guilting me into picking up the vehicle that evening. I work full time and was trying my very best to get things organized.
Later that day, I called back to inquire more questions and was referred to the "lovely" Jerry, once again... I received the same condescending and abrasive responses as before. When I called back to complain about this disgusting service to another representative, I had no apology from Jerry, himself or on behalf of him, when I went to pick up the vehicle.

If you are a first time buyer & want a vehicle without feeling pressured by CERTAIN people, PLEASE do yourself a favour and avoid speaking to or dealing with JERRY and perhaps you may have a slightly better experience than myself. No one should have to feel so terribly weak and stressed out during such an exciting time. Furthermore, I think SOME of the staff, would benefit from practicing compassion and gratitude towards paying customers over the phone...

Unfortunately, it wasn't strong enough so Dom advised me I could come back anytime and they would deodorize it for me. I had Vlad as a salesman at Sundance Mazda and he was excellent! He wrote down all the specifications for what I wanted in a vehicle. He informed me that he was newer as a salesman, but demonstrated a very good foundational knowledge of the vehicles, and was able to answer majority of the questions I had. He was sure to find out the answer in a quick and timely manner if he did not know. As there were no vehicles meeting my specifications on the initial shopping day, Vlad took my number and remained in contact with me for several weeks, alerting me to any new vehicles arriving to the lot. He was diligent, but not overbearing in updating me with information. I never felt like I was being pressured or schmoozed into buying a vehicle when working with him. There ended up being a vehicle that came to the lot that met all my requirements and I bought it! Overall Vlad was very honest, hardworking, personable, and all around a good guy to deal with. He even bought my father and I ice-cream when we joked about incorporating it into the deal. I would recommend him to others!

Allow me to regale you with a tale of my experience at Sundance Mazda. I was once in the market for one of those shiny new Mazda3 sedans in what I can only describe as a shade of red that makes even a mighty Ferrari hold it's headlights in shame. I had reached out with my inquiry one fateful evening and was soon greeted by Moe, the Internet Sales Manager. Upon visiting the dealership, I was treated to a thrilling test drive and a very clear, professional and transparent buying process that ultimately lead to me obtaining the vehicle that fulfills a simple boyhood dream. I had the pleasure of working with Moe from sales, of whom was fantastic, almost immediately earning my business, Tanner from finance, of whom was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, giving me tips on how to take care of the vehicle I had just purchased. I also got the pleasure of spending time with Hope, also from sales, who helped me learn about some of the features the new vehicle had in store. She was so pleasant that Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh would crack a grin after a few minutes with her.

Overall, the entire process was a treat and I would recommend any prospective Mazda customer to stop by and try to get a glimpse of what it's really like to be part of the Mazda family. I know I did, and I have absolutely zero regrets about choosing Sundance Mazda.

Can't say enough good things about this dealership. I had called 10 minutes before the service department closed and William was happy to accommodate me. I don't even live in Edmonton and was just passing through, yet they treated me like a regular customer.

Hadi from the shop was very kind as well and explained in detail the issue with my vehicle. Luckily it was a quick fix and they had me out the door very quickly and efficiently. Even gave my car a quick rinse before I drove off to Vancouver the next day.

Had a fantastic time with everyone here at Sundance Mazda when my wife and I were in to look at a vehicle. The entire staff was extremely courteous and accommodating, without exception. We wanted to make sure this was right ride for us (and I tend to be pretty picky cars), so they were more than happy to allow us to put all of our children's carseats into the vehicle, go for a test drive, and really give the car a full try.

Riaz was very helpful and answered every question that I had about the vehicle, was very patient with my barrage of questions, and was even able to provide me information on the recall notices that I looked up ahead of time. The crew also allowed the vehicle to be placed on the lift so that I could do a visual inspection of the car myself, which I was very pleased about.

Jeff and Riaz both worked with us to get the right deal on the car, at a great price and rate. There was no pressure, no gimmicks, just a straightforward business interaction, and my wife and I could not have been happier. I also appreciate that when I have called for miscellaneous followups, Jeff has always asked how the car is, to which I've always been pleased to say, "fantastic."

Bought a 2014 Mazda 3 GS Sport from Jeremy Yuen (JY) who was great to deal with. As I am not from the Edmonton area, most of the communications were handled through e-mail. Communications were prompt and courteous and JY was more than happy to speak to me over the phone during his off hours to clarify any queries. I knew exactly what kind of car I wanted and my timeline was very strict but JY ensured everything happened smoothly. I showed up to the dealership unannounced about an hour and a half before close (just to touch base with JY). He had planned to leave a bit early to attend a family function but he ended up putting aside his personal plans for the night so that he could walk me around the car and take me out for a test drive (I still feel bad about that!). He discussed what stock was available that met my needs, and broke down pricing for me. The next morning I met with him with a decision, and instead of negotiating back and forth he offered military discount pricing that was fair for both parties, and actually slightly better than what I was expecting. Of course JY tried to suggest the option of getting the 'moonroof package' but I declined and he didn't try to scare me into getting 'stealership' add-ons or push the sale. A down to earth, super nice guy who wasn't a sleazy salesman.

I needed to get some warranty work done, so I contacted servicing to try to book an appointment to get the car looked at. They told me to call again a little closer to my expected date of arrival, and when I did I was told that Saturday was all booked up. That was a little frustrating, but I was able to drop in on the Friday to get the service manager to assess the work. I bought a couple of dealer options that I opted to get installed over the Holidays while I'm away on vacation. My girlfriend and I needed a ride to the airport after dropping the car off at the dealership (after servicing hours), and it was JY to the rescue again who was more than willing drive us to CYEG. Parts pricing is hit or miss depending on what you're getting. Some items I found were on par with online pricing, and other items were almost 2-3 times the cost.

Love the car so far, and the Sundance team is kind and courteous.
