After a couple of years of missing having a Land Rover, I went in to Land Rover of Halifax to see what used LRs they had on hand. A really nice fully loaded Discovery caught my eye. Ran was my salesperson and answered every single question I had, even after closing to make sure I knew what I was about to purchase.
Ran set me up with the financing team, and to my surprise offered a great trade-in buyout to apply to the Disco. Amazing!
It has been a seamless process and I couldn’t be happier.

If you plan on buying a used Land Rover / Jaguar… BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!! Land Rovers begin to have issues once the manufacturer’s warranty is up and trust me, you do not want to know how expensive this can get! The warranty is very comprehensive and a good idea because Land Rovers do not have the best track record for reliability after the first 80kms on the odometer. I feel way better knowing I have this.

Another reason why I choose to buy a used Land Rover from Land Rover of Halifax is that they have “Certified Pre-owned” which means the vehicle goes through a thorough check (replace parts if needed) that I wouldn’t get from any other used dealer.

All in all, I am very confident in my purchase and look forward to all the adventures I’ll get to take my new-to-me Disco on!

This is the third year in a row that come spring the air conditioning in my 2020 Range Rover Sport SVR does not work. When we called the dealership they were rude and said “we can’t even look at your vehicle for two weeks,” and they had no options for a rental vehicle. One would think it does not take three trips to the dealership to fix the issue, let alone being treated rudely.

I purchased my Land rover Discovery from Halifax Land rover during the time I have owned the vehicle it has been maintained by them, the vehicle had a low battery alarm so I contacted them to confirm they had a replacement battery which they did, I asked could they install it ( 15 minute job ) as the computer needs to be reset when the battery is changed, I explained my wife had a family emergency however I was told the earliest appointment they had was 4 days later, the concept of customer service and support is obviously not alive and well at Halifax Land rover any caring organization would have assisted.

Unfortunately the shipping company kept delaying my car, but the sales manager reimbursed me for the delay and even paid for the shipment of my car! Bill was very helpful during the whole process!

Recently purchased through Steele Land rover/Jaguar Dealership in Halifax. Chris, Matt and Jessica were all overwhelmingly accommodating. Short wait times, clear communication and an "easy" sale. After sale support was incredible. I ran into an issue after pickup and first day of ownership that didn't arise in the test drive. Chris had an appointment for me and Mitchell at the service desk was incredibly fast and focused when it came to getting me in/out. The vehicle was transferred to a partner dealer to better diagnose and fix the problem and all with smiles on their faces and no added expense to my pocket. This was honestly the best service I have had purchasing a vehicle in halifax. I have dealt with several dealers and purchased several vehicles on Kempt road. This, BY FAR, was the easiest, hassle free and accommodating purchase to date. I would not hesitate to look here again, used or new, I know they will take care of you the same if you are considering purchasing! 5 stars & Thank you Mr. Steele for the incredibly hardworking staff you have!

I purchased a new 2017 Range Rover Evoque and have regretted it ever since. As I write this I have less than 20,000 km on this 2 year old vehicle. I had reason to take it in for service just recently for a malfunctioning head light sprayer and because it continues to lag upon acceleration. My appointment was for 9AM, I arrived at 8:45 left my vehicle and was picked up by a friend. I called at 2PM to ask if my vehicle was ready, I'm told by the service advisor that it was only JUST taken in for service. I questioned her why that was when they had my vehicle all morning, her reply was there was people ahead of me and because I was told 9 AM didn't mean my vehicle would be taken in at 9 AM, hey fair enough, but FIVE hours later!!!. I picked my vehicle up only to be told I had to return another day because they found an issue with the hood latch and to fix the head light sprayer, which they had no parts for. The service was frustrating, lack communication, caused concern and stress when I was sent home with a vehicle that I could not LOCK because of a malfunctioning sensor. Calling the service advisor back to find out why my vehicle wouldn't lock, was met with the receptionist ringing through to her five times before she answered with a less then pleasant "whats going on now." I received a call from the service tech later to advised he had no idea the hood latch malfunctioning would cause the vehicle to not lock. Not being able to lock my vehicle for a couple of days does nothing for my feeling of security when I park any where in the city and leave my vehicle for any length of time. No offer of having my vehicle securely place in their garage until my vehicle could be fixed or offer of a loaner vehicle until then was made. Needless to say my two star rating was generous!!

Terrible service. Ordered a part, they booked me in only to tell me the part hadn't arrived that day. After I waited another 2 weeks - I had to call them looking for part, which had already arrived and nobody bothered to call and let me know. The service counter is extremely slow and they always seem to have "computer problems". One of the worst car dealerships in Halifax
