Today, I sold my 2017 Kia Sportage to Orillia Kia (not as trade-in). It was a very quick, smooth and pleasant transaction.... Sales Manager Dustin welcomed me with courtesy and respect. He immediately offered me his best price, which was a very fair value (he did not low-ball me at all, which was the most unexpected pleasant surprise). Talking to a customer with respect is one thing, but offering a decent $ value right at the beginning of the conversation is another thing. ATTENTION CAR BUYERS READ THIS REVIEW HONEST REVIEW. Ok guys, I recently purchased a brand new vehicle from Orillia Kia part of Plaza Kia Auto Group. Their LIFE time Engine Warranty is a full scam!! This was the reason I purchased the vehicle from them thinking I’m getting Life Time Engine Warranty , the condition is you have to do your regular Oil Change and other related Engine maintenance at their Service Shop. These guys have increased the Oil Change Price to almost 3x they charge $99.99+tax for just a regular oil Change as other places charge the most is $45 for regular oil change. If regular Oil Change costs $99.99 imagine if your Engine needs some other work to be done what would be the price for that. You see why I call this SCAM? I asked them before hand about their oil change price I been told it’s the same as other places as we want our customers to be happy and keep coming. So if you are buying a car from these guys just cuz of the Engine Life Time Warranty please don’t fall to this SCAM like I DID. Keep an eye out on YouTube under Plaza Kia Engine Warranty Scam as I’ll be making a video about it soon. Stay Away from Plaza KIA. Take my advice. Look elsewhere.

My oil change gone bad. I went to Orillia Kia for an oil change on my 2016 Sorento. Shortly after I got home, I noticed oil on the garage floor. I called Orillia Kia (OK) thinking that something was not tightened properly and wanted it to get corrected. After a quick inspection I was told my oil pressure sending unit was leaking and needed replacing. The total with tax came to $469. I was also told that there might be just a little more oil dripping as it was caught in the V of the V6 engine and had to drain. Once again, the oil continued to leak at the same rate it had before. I called OK and set up a new service inspection. This time I was told that the oil filter housing was cracked. The service tech showed me the oil on the outer housing. Parts and labour were quoted over $500 but they didn’t have the parts. I protested and asked why this wasn’t picked up in the first place. They said there was oil on the pressure sending unit and assumed that was the problem. When I went home, I did a little further investigating. I wiped down the oil filter housing and then started the car. I could see oil oozing from the seal of the cap. I took it off and put it back on again and the leak was greatly reduced but hadn’t stopped. I bought a new oil filter which included a new rubber O ring gasket and replaced them both. The oil leak stopped. During this time I was in contact with OK trying to get a resolution to my problem. They told me that they had to talk to their boss and would call me back. A month later and I haven’t heard a word. If the tech had taken the oil change 101 course, he would have been taught to check for leaks with the engine running once the service was complete. I now question whether he replaced the o ring when the service was done. I can’t prove anything but it’s sure a coincidence that it stopped when I replaced it. Sorry OK, you’ve seen the last of me. The one star is for the smile when taking my money.

Have been trying to get into another kia dealer for some work for over a month and have had nothing but problems trying to even get someone to answer the phone so, I decided to called Orillia Kia and had the pleasure of speaking with Larry who was able to get me in very quickly for some work on a saturday. He was friendly, had a smile, was very respectful and courteous. Everyone in the dealership made it a point to say hi even if they were busy.

My husband and I had a very pleasant experience with leasing our new 2021 Kia Sorento through Orillia Kia. We live in Innisfil so had originally visited Barrie Kia out of convenience. Long story short, we had an awful experience there but were still very interested in the Sorento. We decided it would be worth the drive to Orillia to improve our customer experience and are now very happy we did. My first interaction was with Darryl over the phone to set up the appointment. He was very pleasant to speak with and was able to answer my initial questions. Dean was our sales representative and was friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all not pushy as many salespeople often are. The entire experience from start to finish with Orillia Kia was smooth and effortless. I will also add in that Al the sales manager was one of the best managers I've dealt with and offered us a more than a fair incentive for my Honda which was coming off lease. Overall I would recommend Orillia Kia to anyone in the market for a new vehicle!

I have been debating and waiting to post a review, but I decided I should. My Boyfriend and I went to Orillia Kia in January looking for a vehicle because I had just lost mine in an accident. When we went, we met with Dean (salesperson), and at first, he seemed very nice and helpful, but he seemed to be irritated when we said that we wanted to go home to talk it over before making any decisions. When I called him the next day to put a deposit down, he forgot who I was and did not seem interested in speaking with me. We went later that week to meet with the finance manager and to sign the papers. When we walked in, he still did not remember who we were. Once I signed the papers, he did not make an effort to speak with us. It was clear that he only wanted the sale.

When I brought my car home, I drove it for one day and then the check engine light came on. I live 45 minutes away from Orillia, so it is not easy to go back between work and school. I called, and the service department got me an appointment right away. After reading my car, they determined it was an oxygen sensor, and they sent me home as they ordered the part. After they replaced it, I drove my car for another day, and it happened again. I went back-and-forth to Orillia Kia almost ten times within two months before they finally fixed it. Josh, the service manager, really impressed me. He was always kind, even when I was furious and stormed in, and was helpful. After the third time the check engine light came on, he took the time to call around to different Kia's to figure out what was going on. It has been about a month and a half now since the check engine light came on last.

I have only good things to say about the finance manager, Darryl, and the sales manager, Al. Every time I spoke with Darryl, he was always kind and helpful. He sat with us for hours explaining everything we needed to know and stayed an hour after closing. I called him a month later - no contact at that time - and he knew exactly who I was. That felt nice. When I was having issues with the engine light, Al, the sales manager, was very helpful and accommodating. He gave me a rental so I could stop wasting my gas, and they could figure it out. He gave me some credits to apologize and make up for my time and money I had lost from having to go to Orillia.

When it comes time to buy another car, I may go back to Orillia Kia, but I will choose another Salesperson, and I will be very thorough with checking it before I bring it home.

My Kia Soul had the infamous ticking sound... and so I brought it in and the Kia update software put it in limp mode so I couldn’t drive over 50 km. I bought a used 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0 litre turbo from these guys a couple of years ago. What an amazing experience. When nobody else would even look at me, they got me financing with a real bank and not some shady lender for a good interest rate! Imaging my surprise when after having a test drive and signing the papers to finance they called me up to say there was a recall on the car and they were REPLACING ENGINE WITH A NEW ONE! They sent the car over to Orillia Hyundai where the work was carried out by professionals. It has been an amazing car and I am very happy with it. I have LOVED this car from the moment I saw it and this Kia dealership made it happen! I am so grateful! The entire experience was a good one. These people are friendly, knowledgeable and professional while still having a pulse and a sense of humor as any human being should! Highly, highly recommended.

September 1 of this year I had my Hyundia Elantra 2014 that had a new engine put in on Feb 2019. My car blew up at 2 in the morning for no reason apparently a spontaneous engine fire. I was awoke by emergency personnel. Upon doing some research, I am not an isolated incident. This is a regular occurence. That weekend I went to Kia with my fiancee looking at vehicles and found one I loved. We put $1000 down and I signed the paper work and left. The staff was great at that point. I find out later that kia and Hyundia share the same parts. At that point I just cant buy that kia, I cant do it, I just had a very traumatic experience. I then call Darryl the finance person and told him I just cant get the vehicle and explained the reason. He said I signed the paperwork and I cant get my money back. What happened to "buyers remorse" or really just being a kind and compassionate human being? I continued to phone a few times that week as $1000 is a tremendous amount of money to me and I was not planning on buying a new car, mine was paid off. Darryl continued to tell me I am not getting my money back. And asked me " are you going to call me again and have another half hour conversation?" He also said I would need to talk to the manager but he will say no and wont be very nice. My daughter phoned and spoke with the manager and he was condescending and demeaning.My boyfriend also phoned and told him I was traumatized from my experience and to pls give me my money back...the answer was NO! I am so disappointed. I live on my own with my kids and wasnt financially planning on this expense. There is no compassion at this place as I am told they can give me my money back if they wanted. Also, is there no "buyer's remorse"? The car was on the lot and I phoned the next day. It was no expense to them. DO NOT BUY A CAR THERE! They are fine until it's not. I bought a Honda and they didnt even ask me for a deposit. Saddened by the lack of human kindness😪

The staff there were very friendly and helpful. The salesman ( Brad ) was so patient and understanding in guiding me through my 1st new to me car purchase (2018 Sportage). Brad was very informative, and really made this a pleasurable experience.

Purchased a 2020 Kia Telluride SX and picked it up today. Worked with Dean on the deal and I have to say it was the best experience I've had buying a new vehicle - I've bought a few new cars and it was just a different experience. I think the way Dean does business is what makes him so effective - low pressure and easy to work with which I've personally found rare when purchasing new. Totally worth the drive from Mississauga. Just bought a 2020 Telluride SX V6 and loving it. Olivia and Dustin were transparent and fair when it came to finalizing a number on both my trade in and new Telluride. Olivia was uber knowledgeable and must have done her homework on this car cause she knew all the features inside and out. I appreciated the time she took to make sure I was completely comfortable with the features of the vehicle before leaving the lot (honestly like 3 hours lol). There is a ton of tech in this car. Look it up, do you homework obviously. But in my opinion this is the best bang for the buck in its class!
