We purchased the 2018 demo Sedona (which the owner of the dealership drove ) and we’re extremely happy with our purchase and the treatment we had while purchasing the van. Pamela was amazing. We also purchased a car at the same time as well.

Once we brought them van home within 24 hours there was an issue. The automatic sliding door was scratching the van as it opened and closed.

I came in for an oil change that Autumn and had asked about the rust warranty we purchased. The salesman came out and inspected where the rust was and very rudely told me that it wouldn’t be covered under warranty because I was in an accident. I explained that I would know if I had been in an accident (because I hadn’t been). He was very rude and walked away.

I called the dealership looking for some information on a part we needed. The built-in sun-screen had ripped. I called and no one had an answer. They said they would get someone to call me back. No callback. I called again, and I never heard from them.

That winter we had our winter tires installed at the dealership. In the middle of the winter, we noticed our tires looked a bit odd. We didn’t know exactly what was wrong until we had our tires installed the next winter at Jiffy Lube. They explained that the lug nuts we had were not safe to be installed on our winter tires. The dealership installed those on my van without saying anything. The mechanic explained to me how they weren’t the right fit, and wouldn’t get tight enough and could have put my family in a very dangerous situation.

Last week while getting my oil changed again, a mechanic mentioned my tires needed to be changed. We brought the van back and I got new tires. With only 70000km on the van, using winter tires for 5-6 months of the year we were surprised we needed tires so soon. The mechanic explained that our tires weren't all the same and 3 of them were very worn and 1 wasn’t. The tires on the van are the ones we bought with the van from the dealership.

I expressed my concerns to Paul the owner, in which he denied my accusations and offered to look at the rust. I sent him photos of it and there was no response.

After reading other reviews it looks like they need some new mechanics and the owner doesn’t want to take any responsibility for anything. We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere.

I was greeted warmly and professionally; my vehicle was worked on expeditiously; I was informed immediately of their concerns; they understood and worked with me regarding my financial concerns; they listened to me regarding a new and apparent maintenance issue and were able and quite willing to deal with it immediately; they kept us informed of their diagnosis and suggested remediation and henceforth made sure that my wife’s level of comfort was addressed while the repairs were being made. It was a pleasant experience even though it was a matter of close to 5 hours from beginning to end.

Purchased a warranty agreement when I bought my car, I was told that my oil pan is failing and although the oil pan is a critical part of the engine and it is specifically listed in the agreement it has been declined for warranty.
I have been happy with the service Kia has provided, but DO NOT buy an extended warranty from them as it is not honoured.

Had 3M paint protection film (PPF) installed on a recently purchased used Honda CR-V. This was suggested by the sales rep at Hunt Club Honda, when we purchased the vehicle, as an alternative to a bug deflector. Researching pointed out both the benefits and difficulty o the install. Only two authorized installers in Muskoka, KIA was the nearest. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient when I spoke with them. Price for the install, on leading edges of front fender and hood, was at market level. The install was started as scheduled, and completed on time. Workmanship looks really good, no bubbles or wrinkles. Covered 24 inches up hood. Must be left for several days to allow adhesive to fully adhere and set, so no washing. Suppose to be carwash-safe, as opposed to plastics bug deflector, which isn't.

I was very impressed with the service, I took Mom's car in because I was hearing a clunking noise, ended up front stablizer bar needed replacing, an inexpensive fix. I was called & told that while on hoist they found that tires were worn on inside & lots of small cracks on the side walls. To make a long story short I agreed that tires were 7 yrs old & thought their quote was very reasonable for new ones. I was given the total amount of the bill over the phone, there were no surprises when I paid & they even cleaned my rims & reattached a nut & bolt no charge! When I went to pick up the car their was a young woman in distress who had many issues with her car & had to take her 2 year old to Sick Kids the next day. They were very sympathetic & gave her a loaner car for free! It was so refreshing to witness the compassion, I don't think there's too many dealerships around that would go this extra mile!

Don Ansley So...while travelling down from Huntsville to pick up my 2011 Sorrento, my old Buick starts making really horrible scraping noises (sounds like a wheel bearing). I asked Mike to check it out and after a brief glance on the hoist, sure enough looks like a wheel with a lot of play (typical of wheel bearing).. So we gotta head back without the Buick, I give authorization for a $350 repair and am on my way in my new car!....I get a phone call from Mike twenty minutes later...NO CHARGE Mike says!....it was the WHEEL ITSELF that was coming off! My brother-in-law and I had manually switched to summer tires a few weeks earlier and thought we were CLEVER saving a few bucks by doing it ourselves! (never again! ) My point here, however, is the INTEGRITY of the service department. Mike had authorization to replace the bearing, I would have never known. MANY places would do exactly that, but not Muskoka Kia. THANKS MIKE!
