Be wary of this dealership. As a former employee that has seen what goes on behind the scenes I can tell you now you do not want to do business here. Grossly unethical behavior would be only the tip of the iceberg. They used the pandemic to fire people to protect their profits and also remove staff with medical difficulties/concerns. I was not allowed access to leads because I refused to lie to my customers. If you call in for a pre-owned vehicle they told me I HAVE TO say it's still available even if it's been sold and rolled off the lot because they'd rather say whatever they can to get you to come down so they can push you into another vehicle. They even train an acronym called AIM which stands for Acknowledge, Ignore, Move On. Which they want you to use whenever there's an objection. In my 10 years of sales experience I've learned the best way to deal with objections is to address it and talk about it because maybe the product is wrong or the price, simply ignoring an objection creates problems later. They don't care about that because they are THAT THIRSTY for any sale. I've gotten in trouble for telling a customer their deposit was refundable because my manager never intended to give it back. Even though it was refundable as the customer never went to finance or took the vehicle or anything like that. They just were so greedy that the fact they had the deposit they didn't want to give it up. There is very little professionalism there and honestly only department that's worth dealing with there is the service department as they actually want to help customers when they can. Only downside is it's all still run by the GM who is probably the worst of them. When I opened up to him about my mental health issues and other health concerns that I was dealing with that were getting worse he used the pandemic as a reason to get rid of me. How do I know this? They give me the runaround when I ask for explanation, don't answer my question directly but just bounce around giving me "business decision" talk that was given to him. And they rehired someone who was still in training right after they got rid of me. Then there was the time they tried to take advantage of an elderly lady who was sold a pre-registered vehicle and it was never disclosed to her, and the sales documents were made to show date of purchase long prior to the actual date of purchase among other discrepancies. Only reason she was able to get the warranty work done that she needed was because I got her to bring me her sale documents and I brought it directly to multiple managers before it was taken care of and only because they realized the gravity of their mistake. Not to mention prior to this they were trying to say she's old she probably forgot and for me to drop it. I have many more stories of the unethical practices at this dealership but I am preparing a very detailed post regarding what I've witnessed here. I should say there are people who work there that are genuinely good people however they are outnumbered. Quinn, Leighsa, Martin, Lee, if any of you see this, I do hope none of you have to suffer the consequences of Birchwoods greed like I am now with all the added stress and anxiety spiraling my other health conditions. Best of luck to you, you guys deserve so much better than Birchwood. I went out of my way to be as professional and amicable with so many people there especially the sales team but they just took advantage of my kindness. I really didn't want to post this review but with how cold and heartless the managers are being, I can't sit by and not say anything because someone else might get hurt by their awful and greedy behaviours and if someone else got hurt I'd feel partly responsible for not saying anything. I would post more stories with more details but there is a character limit I hit a few times writing this. Will edit this review with link to extended post.

I was also very surprised to hear that they are installing new tires on it. I highly recommend going there if you are looking for an good deal and above all else an honest car dealer.

I've bought a car at Birchwood Kia.

Reggie, the seller, is very knowledgeable about the car I bought. We went together for a test ride. He is super friendly and answered all my questions. He gave me plenty of time with no pressure at all to make the purchase decision.

The price negotiation is tough. First Reggie has no decision on the price. He has to come and go to the General Manager office. The GM never showed up and never talked directly with me. It was very slow.
Then the Financial Manager was with another person, and I had to wait. If you are buying a guaranty, he will not print the information. You will have to see the information (table Years/KMs) on the computer screen and decide which one is better for you.
Also I had to wait the pick up and payment day. Even we have an appointment to a certain day and hour, I had to wait 30 minutes in the lounge to pay and get the car.

Birchwood Kia gives you a 7 days driving permit. You have time to go to Autopac to process the car registration, get your insurance and plates. This is nice.

I recommend Birchwood Kia but get there with time.

I noticed they have critical asynchronous information.
1. Especially financial consultant has not updated my bank account info since day 1, and I have to manually contact financial department to request the process of my payment account.
2. Some KIA services are not covered in Canada, like Kia Owners portal, only US available.
3. Be sure to check everything you had a deal prior to signed the contract, and recheck those deals again while you receive your new car.

I give Kia Regent a MINUS on their service. Had my vehicle booked for maintenance 2 on Oct.22 & for my vehicle to be AT the dealership at 7:45 a.m. I was there on time & Service Consultant informed me that it would take 2-3 hours for the service. I called numerous times during the day for updates. My vehicle was ready 7 HOURS LATER! I drove in from out of town. I had to find somewhere to go & wait. The excuses I got was that they were “behind” from the day before. WHY would they call me the day before to confirm my appointment if they were so far behind? Will NEVER go back again. Never have experienced this incompetence before with owning my vehicle for 8 years.

I was promised so many things, none of which were delivered. The sales associate and sales manager told me one thing, finance manage told me something different. None of them have shared this information with the service department.

Basically they have sent me on a wild goose chase trying to get a set of winter tires. It's unacceptable how they are treating someone who just spent a ton of money at their dealership.

I will not be purchasing a vehicle from them in the future, and Fountain Tire has made sure to take care of the tire situation within 10 minutes (something the dealership couldn't do in a week)

Bought my car there in mid June this year, the salesman told me that within two weeks I would receive a 200.00 dollars fuel card because I was purchasing a brand new car. It`s been more than 3 months and I`m still waiting for the card that never came. I went to the store about two months ago, talk to the salesperson and he told the problem would be solved within the next days, but nothing was solved. I emailed Kia Canada twice, but no answer up to now. I`m really disappointed with Kia`s customer service, they don`t seem to care about their customers. I feel like I was fooled with empty promises just to buy a new car.

Edit 1 - Try to contact the store as requested but nobody seems to know with who I should talk about the problem.

Just went in for an oil change, seems simple enough. 1.5 hours was a bit of a wait, but I wanted it done by a dealer. Told service rep that I wanted reg oil, that I did not want synthetic oil....twice. car gets completed, getting ready to pay, they tell me they put synthetic in my car (???) , after I told them twice not to. He has big smile, no big deal, we won't charge the extra $30 for synthetic, guess What? It is a big deal, I DIDN'T want it. I'm from out of town, if I had more time to waste, i would have demanded they remove the oil and filter and start over again. And they still overcharged me. Very amateurish set up. Will let my local friends know to avoid this place like the plague. I'll definitely let Kia Canada know about they way they are representing their brand. Oh, and they don't even know the warranty specs on the cars they service!
Jeez, after reading their responses to other reviews, OMG , it's all cut and paste, they aren't even really reading them. Kia should pull dealership from this joke of a location.

Terrible service experience, when I initially picked up our vehicle we noticed the center console had scuff marks which we pointed out to our salesman. He conferred with the service department and they agreed to replace the part but it had to be ordered and would take about a month to get it. After waiting 2 months I went to the dealership to check with our salesman on the status of the part. After checking with service he informed me that the part would be in a week and the service department would call me. I waited another month and went through the same process and was told the same thing about it being a week or so and that service would call me when it was available. Called a month after that to the salesman who said he would check and get back to me right away, I still haven't heard from him. I waited another month then phoned the service department where I talked to the assistant manager who informed me that she would check into it and get back to me, she called back an hour later to inform me that she was talking to the sales manager who would call me back "right away ". After 2 days I still haven't heard from either of them. It has been 5 months since we picked up the car and i still have no idea what is happening about the part. We like the car but I will never use their service department or recommend Birchwood to anyone.

Addendum to my first post
After getting the reply from Birchwood I called the number listed, after being told I would be talking to the sales manager I got an answering machine with the message that he would call as soon as possible.

3 hours later and I still haven't heard from them.

Bought my Kia Rondo here. A very pleasant experience, with a great salesman who didn't pressure me, but noted what I needed. I traded in my old car, and the salesman actually drove me home in his own vehicle, as my new car wasn't yet ready. The only process I didn't really like was actually purchasing it - there was a lot of upsells I was pressured to buy that inflated the price (ie a rust magnet and permanent wax sealant), though after 2 years these additions seem to work, as there's no rust and I've never had to wax the car.
