Bought a 2021 Seltos. Was contacted through Unhaggle by James Park and he walked us through the vehicle. Some days later was able to arrange a test drive and hands on overview. Discussed pricing over the phone and through email and agreed to a price on the basis of our Unhaggle based offer. A week later went in and finalized. At no time, was I pressured or felt forced to make, an quicker offer. The face to face finalization included just confirming the final offer number, meeting with Ha to discuss if another option was available, as we wanted a specific color and no hail damage. Once that was understood Ha finalized the offer and inclusions and, was done in 20 minutes. Was not pushed to buy added options or warranty. Would recommend this dealership based on my experience.

I had an amazing experience buying a Kia Soul with Felipe! He was kind and considerate, and took the time to explain (and re-explain) the process of trading in my older vehicle for a newer one. I had complete trust in him, since he was upfront about everything and gave us the space we needed to think about the car after test driving it. Unlike other dealerships I'd attempted to work with, he listened to my budget and worked with the manager to give me the best deal possible. Would recommend him to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable car!

Kia Canada seems to be very young in their Hybrid department and it shows, but that's no fault of the dealership.

Not a great experience for me at this dealership. They were quite nice until the cheque cleared and then they would not respond to messages left to the sales man and sales manager about issues I had with the vehicle. I did manage to get a hold of the salesman who said he would look into the issues and call me back the next day. No response.

This dealership really showed their true colors after I bought my car from them. I had services, like an oil change, listed on the buyer's contract but they weren't documented anywhere so I had to wait numerous times for the service staff to contact the dealership manager to verify this information. I recently took my car to the dealership for an oil change and they told me there was a mouse nest in the cabin filter but told me that I would need to pay for full service (at $300) for them to change it. The cabin filter costs $20 at Canadian Tire and doesn't require much work to be switched out. They just want to profit off of you and cannot be bothered to go the extra mile.
Didn’t have to wait weeks to get in and the person booking me in was very knowledgeable as I was asking about warranty things on my vehicle. The service I needed was done and wasn’t called to upgrade on anything which I really appreciated. My car was in and out in a timely manner. Will definitely be going back soon!
Just want to give a big shout out to Bill Currie your shop foreman there at South Trail KIA... AMAZING customer service and knowledgable man. I do not even own a KIA but have brought both my Ford and Chevrolet vehicles to Bill Currie for servicing and repair. Bill has managed to diagnose issues on both my vehicles that Ford and Chevrolet were not able to, and made the repairs at a much more reasonable price. Service was prompt and I was always kept in the loop as to repair options and costs.
Great experience from Kramer and Justin. Those guys will work with you and find you a great deal that works best for you. They’re pretty patient and make you feel comfortable and make the entire process seem so simple. Highly recommend those 2.

When the vehicle was ready for pick up he went over every detail. Great service. The finance department was also very good and no pressure to add extras.
Extremely helpful and considerate.. Fixed a flat I had squeezing me in their busy winter tire swapping schedule. As well moved things around to put on my winter tires while I was at the shop. These guys are always great in the customer service department. Thanks again guys!!

It is all true about there show room, plenty of options and opportunities to find great value for your budget but for me it is all about the quality of people and quality of the experience. We came all the way from NE bought a brand new Kia Sportage 2018 for my wife, bought that 5 star protection too but now every time you have to pay $500 months from your own pocket for the maintenance else they won't protect your vehicle under the plan...what is this BS. Serge and Ha-young you guys really screwed us over. I am looking to buy a vehicle...not from Kia for sure

All the people who I have dealt with in the service area are awesome. They are friendly, considerate and always pleasant to speak to. They makes point of using your name which I think is great as it makes you feel like they know you and they are always really good about explaining what they are going to be doing when I bring my Sorento in for service.
I brought my car in for a brake job on a Saturday and had called a couple of other places as well. Although it wasn't the cheapest estimate, Gautham was very friendly and professional so I paid more because I felt I could trust him. A slight mishap with their hoist meant they could not get my car down until Monday but they gave me a nice new loaner in the meantime. I ended up getting a few other services as well thanks to their full inspection recommendations. The level of customer care here is great.

Because of the time it would take to get the parts in they provided me with a vehicle to use while I was waiting. My vehicle could not be driven until it was fixed. Have nothing but great things to say about this dealership. My husband and I came by the dealership after having a not-so great experience at a different Calgary car dealership. We stopped in to take a look at the used vehicles, and was greeted by Felipe. We made arrangements to come by and test drive one of their used vehicles. When we arrived, the car was washed and ready for us to take out. Felipe came and greeted us again, and did a quick overview of the car. The vehicle drove great with no concerns. We decided that we wanted to talk about what a deal would look like for the car. Felipe was great to work with and understood our budget and needs.When we were discussing the deal, a lot of times, dealerships will bring in their "closers" or managers to seal the deal. Felipe brought in Rich, and instead of hammering out a deal, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to have a simple chat and talk with Rich, with no sales pressure. The chat was more about getting to know us as a family and our interests, instead of closing a deal. My husband and I were presented with a great deal, but decided to sleep on it. The next day, we finalized the deal with Felipe. I couldn't be more happier with the service I received from Felipe, Rich and Shimpei. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle from South Trail Kia.
Working with Dylan was great. Of all the dealerships he was the only one that spoke to us like humans and not a possible sale. The car was for my wife and every other dealership we went to would only address me and not her. Definitely recommended by us.
Update: I have lowered the rating from a 5 down to a 3. The car has been great and we loved the deal we got. The reason for the change is because something so simple as to get a response to why we were denied the first time buyer credit has been impossible. I am not trying to get a credit or anything else. All I've wanted is a response. The finance manager didn't seem interested in replying or providing an answer. I wrote to the GM, who did reply and said they'd have an answer by that afternoon. That was a week ago. A follow up email has no response. I just hope that this isn't a reflection of how it will be having my car serviced here.

Very roomy and bright dealership with a big lot and tons of parking, cars are easily accessible and the Rio we were looking at was able to be brought up super quick for us to check out. I love it at South Trail Kia!! Brad Hyrnchuk is a wonderful guy, we went there to see him and what it’s like at this dealership, it’s so big, clean, and everyone is so friendly! Brad replaced our license plate frame, put the one on the front, and even took our car through the car wash! Our Recent experience purchasing our new Kia car was great. Everyone was helpful. Jason Hamzeh did a great job of explaining the finer points of the car we wanted to buy. He took his time, showed us several versions and pretty much jumped over backwards to look after us. South Trail Kia looked after all of the registration transfer, installed the plate and took all the time I needed to go over the vehicle with me. I was introduced to the new car sales manager and he saw me out when we were completed. Communication was excellent and fast, and there was zero sales pitch. I told him what I needed and what wasn’t needed and he got right to the point and fixed me up with EXACTLY what I said I wanted and with a price that was comfortable for me. He gave it to me straight and didn’t waste my time. Highly recommend. Will be doing business again when my husband is ready to purchase.
I made an appointment to get my oil changed. My appointment was at 10:15 am. I arrived a bit early. They drove my car in to the first bay where my car proceeded to sit for one hour. I was told on the phone that an oil change takes about an hour so I said that I would wait for it. After the first hour they took my car in to the second bay where they changed the oil and did their inspection. It is very odd that 5000 kilometer's ago nothing was wrong. The same inspection done in Medicine Hat. And here I am being quoted $947.33 for repairs that were no where in sight a few months ago. At an hour and half in I went and spoke to the receptionist and asked her what was taking so long? She said just because your car gets here does not mean it will be taken right in. I said I had an appointment for 10:15 am and I would expect that they be running close to the time they quoted. 2 hours later my car is finally done, it was washed which was a very nice touch. Get this, they wanted to charge me $65.98 to change the licence plate light bulbs. I will never go back to this dealership. I will be finding out what the truth is once I take my car somewhere else and will see what is made up and what is real. I am just am not one bit impressed and this is why these guys get a bad name. They just do not seem trustworthy to me.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Mikhail Mezentsev the past two weeks. We were looking to purchase a new SUV and the Kia Sportage was on our short list. In the end we decided to go with another make mainly because they were offering 0% financing. I never thought I would write a review about a car sales person. I usually do not like sales people...they are self serving and its so obvious. I will not be writing a review about the sales person we actually bought a new SUV from because he was a typical sales person. But I found Mikhail to be so unlike any other car sales person I have ever met that I decided I must write a review. He was professional, but funny...he made us feel at ease, he wasn't pushy...he answered all our questions, he followed up with us, encouraged us to do multiple test drives, and most of all, he wasn't fake. Mikhail made us feel so good. Had everything else been equal, we would have bought a Kia because of Mikhail....now that is a great sales person! Unfortunately, all things were not equal, and the 0% financing offered by a competitor was just something we couldn't turn down despite Mikhail's efforts to point out all the other attributes of owning a Kia. One thing for sure....Mikhail made us want to own a Kia. Thank you so much Mikhail!
