Had my Father-in-laws van in to check on excessive vibration while on vacation. Freed up a caliper and balanced all 4 tires, it didn’t fix the issue. Contacted Steve/Matt, they immediately told me to bring it back the next morning. They put a veteran mechanic on it (I didn’t get his name) who was a wizard! Fixed the issue as much as possible and didn’t charge for the re-balancing. These guys are too notch, saved our vacation and dropped my stress levels all at once. Thanks to Steve and Matt and the mechanic, awesome crew!
I purchased a 2019 Chevy Silverado Custom Trail Boss Z71 from Lakeview Chrysler on April 3rd, 2024, for $39,900 plus HST, and an additional $3,900 for an aftermarket extended warranty (24 months/40,000 km). The truck had manufacturer powertrain warranty until April 29th. Tomorrow will be Day 13 without the truck. I've made 3 payments.

The vehicle was observed to have a ticking noise in the engine bay on cold-start shortly after purchase, noticed on April 6th @ 75058 kms. I alerted Lakeview Chrysler on April 9th. First, they suggested I bring it to my local dealership, which I opted for. The soonest I could get at the local Chevrolet dealership was May 23rd. Their second suggestion was to drive to Gander to "look at it" by them, but they did not emphasize the urgency of having it done before the powertrain warranty expired on April 29th. My assumption was it was because the extended warranty would have come into effect and covered any cost associated with repairs.
On May 23rd, the vehicle was diagnosed with major engine issues, with repair costs quoted at $7,238.97. The aftermarket extended warranty company has refused to cover the repair costs, stating it was a pre-existing condition before the point of sale/date of purchase and should have been dealt with at the selling dealership while the powertrain warranty was in effect. Lakeview Chrysler made accusations against me because I spoke with the warranty company. However, when the warranty company called me after speaking with the local Chevrolet dealer's Service Department, I simply answered their questions honestly.
Lakeview then requested I remove the truck from my local Chevrolet dealership (where they initially advised me to take it) and bring it to a non-dealership garage for a second diagnosis. I decided against this and expressed that I wanted the truck repaired at the Chevrolet dealership. This is because I know the repairs will carry a parts warranty for any replaced parts in case of future failure, and the service department has up-to-date trained technicians with current diagnostic and repair equipment, special tools, and access to technical manuals that may be needed for this job.
After careful consideration and due to the significant defect (in addition to an A/C issue and brake sensors), I have lost of confidence in the vehicle's reliability. I requested that Lakeview Chrysler pay the local Chevrolet dealership for the diagnosis and reclaim the truck.
Lakeview Chrysler has refused to repair, refund, or reclaim the vehicle.
I have reached out to Consumer Affairs with Service NL and am considering further action concerning the Sale of Goods Act. I hope Lakeview Chrysler will reconsider their decision and do the right thing and provide a full refund with associated fees and costs including the extended warranty.

Bought a beautiful Ram Sport from Matthew, overall great experience. Called on Thursday, picked up new truck on Friday.
This was my first time purchasing a RAM Truck after driving other brands. I have to say that this was the easiest process I’ve been through. I began the purchasing process online with Rod and I had a new truck in my driveway within a few days. They have lots of truck options on the lot to pick from at a reasonable price. Rod and Edith were great to deal with and I must say that I am very impressed with the RAM truck so far. I would definitely recommend a visit to Lakeview if you are looking for a truck.
This dealership is by far the most unorganized, piece of garbage I have ever walked into. I came from out of town. So I guess they didn’t like that. They also never ever ever answer their phones. I tried so hard I just gave up and decided to go the “old fashion” way and email. I’ve never been treated so terribly by a dealership in my 37 years of existence. I would give ZERO STARS!!!! Unfortunately that’s not an option.

Very friendly, Matthew was our salesman and he was great to deal with, took the time to show us all the features of the truck and explained everything, and Edith in the finance department was great and a pleasure to deal with. I lost the starter right away, which is strange because they couldn't let me pick it up right away because they said they had to inspect it to ensure all was in working order. They said they would pay for the starter when I first called to tell them it was gone, but then they changed that and said they would pay for half. I had to talk to a couple of different people, and I had to leave several messages, all with either no response or delayed response. After having to leave a very frustrated voicemail, after several calls and no progress, on July 28, 2023, they agreed to pay half, and I sent them the receipt the same day, as they requested. They were going to send me a cheque in the mail. It is now November 10, 2023, and I have not received anything from them. I haven't received the money or a follow-up to see if I received anything. I emailed them, but I'm not expecting a response. It's been a horrible service from day 1. I will never buy anything from there again. It's been a horrible experience.

This dealership is a joke no customer support. When they install accessories and damage your vehicle they will not cover it.
don't buy anything from this place it's nothing but a scam, they sold me a used SUV "Inspected" not two weeks later i had to bring it back because the brakes were shot and they wouldn't let me drive it home and said it shouldn't even be on the road and that's how the sold it to me a few weeks later after that the radio went in it. a month ago i was away working for 3 weeks flew home and the rad will not shut off only way to get it to stop is pull the relay and they can't even fix it or even have the knowledge to fix it after telling me if i need anything fixed or done with it to come back and they could. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE i'm trying to save you a lot of money, time and patience dealing with these crooks.
We bought and traded in a vehicle virtually as we are located a few hours away and the whole process worked out perfect. Rod & Edith made the transaction and delivery process go very smoothly. No complaints.

I've purchased 3 trucks and a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Lakeview Chrysler since 2010, they've been excellent!! From Kevin Dickey to Edith in the finance department, right down to the mechanics, zero issues!! And can't say enough good about the service department, Harry Snow is simply the best!!
