Courtenay, BC.’s Comox Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Dealership is awesome. The building used to belong to Canadian Tire before they moved out and that is why this Chrysler dealership looks so big. Having a huge warehouse sized building looks awesome and very pleasing to the eye.
They also helped me out with their Chrysler home service van when I had a dead car battery at my home. They also gave my car an oil change too. Chrysler is the only dealership that still has home service vans.
What I liked about this Chrysler dealership is their friendly and helpful attitude towards their customers. When they were finished with all of their car servicing, I felt great afterwards.

We have bought several vehicles in the Comox Valley, but this is the first from Comox Valley Dodge. Red Jacket Rob has more patience than I could ever imagine. In November we were looking for a new company vehicle. We were also very distracted running all over the place.
After seeing many possible options that were "good" but, not the "one", we finally settled on a vehicle that was located on the mainland.

Just picked up my new (to me, it's a 2018) Jeep from Comox Dodge the other day. Dealt with Tyler and his team.
1. Totally professional transaction from beginning to end. I never once felt as though I was being sold. It truly felt like Tyler understood what was important to me and was helping me find the correct vehicle.
2. Everyone there, and I mean everyone, was always willing to help. Even though I was only dealing with Tyler, all of the salespeople were friendly, courteous, and professional. I've dealt with other dealerships where the other salespeople ignore you unless they're dealing directly with you. This was not the case at this dealership.
3. They found an issue with the vehicle before I picked it up and installed new batteries (this vehicle has two). No complaining, just, we found this and fixed it for you.
4. The Jeep was meticulously cleaned. I'm super picky when it comes to dirt, and I was totally impressed with how good a detail it had been given.
5. The price negotiations were handled professionally and I paid a fair price.
6. Nathan, the gentleman who did the paperwork, put on my plates for me because Tyler was on the phone. I didn't purchase any additional products from Nathan, he just wanted to help and not have me wait. Again, super professional attitude.

I love doing business locally and it's so nice to have a dealership in my hometown that I can trust. Super impressed with these guys and I highly recommend them.

I bought a new truck from Comox valley dodge this weekend. I started working with Nathan in Finance and Rob the sales manager Friday afternoon and drove up from Duncan Saturday morning to find my new truck clean and ready. I traded in 2 vehicles for one and they made it the easiest and best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. The service department got both trucks in and tires swapped right away!! my sales person was Rob aka Red Jacket Rob. Highly recommend him. Look him up on Facebook. He went through everything with me and make sure i was completely happen before leaving. The finance rep Nathan was awesome to deal with and very perfectional and personable. All in all i would 100 % stand behind Comox Valley dodge and recommend them to anyone i know.

My other experiences prior to the new service manager were lies.
I came back for warranty issue and ready to fight.
The new manager was calm and understanding and without hesitation took care of the situation and don’t try to get out of it.
Technically I know they didn’t have to honour.
She has changed my impression entirely of the service dept.
Now maybe the sales side can take note!!

Brought my car in as I noticed a nail sticking out of the tire. After waiting all day with no call from your service dept., I called and was told it was ready to pick up. When I got there, the tire was off and the spare was on, the person told me it could not be repaired as the nail was too close to the side wall. I was quoted for 2 new tires as they couldn't get the exact type so I'd have to replace both front tires. I drove to a tire shop and turns out the nail hadn't even punctured the tire. It was just stuck in the treads. They removed the spare and put the perfectly good tire back on. Your service person did not even check anything. Not impressed and won't be back.

If there was an option to do 10/5 stars, I would...

Hands down the BEST dealership experience I've had in my life!

I was searching for a specific vehicle that they happened to have and although I am located in Calgary, that did not stop Carson and his team from taking care of me like I was family - which included delivering my vehicle TO me in Calgary while taking my trade-in back.

From the first conversation I had to the moment I took delivery, him and his team were always in communication with me, doing the most they could to make sure I had everything I needed and ultimately fought in MY corner as a customer to ensure the best deal possible in every way (including sourcing, paying for, and throwing in extras!)

The vehicle I purchased needed an Out of Province Inspection (as I am from Calgary) and after scheduling and paying for that for me, Carson and his team went above and beyond when there were a couple extra little needed repairs to the vehicle after the inspection was complete, all so that I could enjoy my new (to me) vehicle in pristine condition.

Until I came to Comox Valley Dodge, I never thought a dealership could treat you so honestly, respectfully, kindly, and actually fight for the little guy to get the best possible deal in every aspect.

Shoutout to Carson, Nathan, Michael, and Tyler and the entire team for all of your help - I will send whoever I can to see you guys and be treated just like I was - family!

I can't thank you enough for making a dream come true.

I recently booked my 2019 Dodge Ram truck in for an oil change with Comox Valley Dodge. First off, when I called to make the appointment, I was “told” that they would be taking off my tires to check my brakes and do a tire rotation. I told them that wasn’t needed since I just recently had an Out of Province inspection done and new tires put on my truck. When I dropped it off, they again “told” me that they would be rotating my tires. Again, I explained that wasn’t needed since I just recently had new tires put on my truck. When I went to pick up my truck, I was appalled! Since I’ve owned the vehicle, other Dodge dealerships have consistently used regular oil. This time, synthetic oil was used without even asking me if that’s what I wanted. An additive was also added to my oil to extend its life. Again, no choice was given and it was just done. $206.92 is outrageous for an oil change and nothing even close to what I’ve paid in the past! Lastly, there was no sticker placed on my windshield advising of when my truck would be due for the next oil change. I will not be back here for any future oil changes and told the lady so at the desk. Aside from the above, my oil change was done quickly and ready for me to pick up earlier than expected.

I got my truck in for an 85 point inspection same day I called, received a shuttle ride home and back. Klaus, the driver was friendly and nice to chat with, he even shared some local knowledge of trails and roads since I'm new to the area. The truck needed some unexpected work and Joanne the service manager talked us thru the issues and helped decide what needed done asap and what could wait due to cost. I did not feel any pressure or talked down to when she was explaining details. Booked the truck back in to complete the repairs on another day, again shuttle drivers, Klaus and Tony, Joanne and Julia at the service desk were all welcoming and courteous. I don't want to forget the techs that worked on my truck, I didn't meet them but the work was completed in a timely manner and the truck was left in clean condition. Super happy with the customer service, they were able to book me in quickly, and they washed just the upholstery as requested when other companies gave me the all or nothing spiel. Price was amazingly reasonable.
They did a great job, went over my quoted time to make sure everything was dry. And then Nadine from parts totally hooked me up with a new cabin filter and had it installed at a discounted rate, all while they were washing the car!!!! You guys really made my day, and I will tell everyone how much you rock!!!

My daughter was visiting us from Surrey. The night before she was going to leave her Jeep Gladiator wouldn’t start.

My brother got it going with his jumper pack - this was at 4.30 PM on a Saturday.

Trish called Comox Valley Dodge and booked a service appointment at 7 AM the following Monday.

About a month before, Trish took her Jeep to her Surrey dealership due to a dashboard warning about her battery. They checked it out and said the regular battery was fine but the auxiliary battery should be replaced but not to worry as it it’s only for the starting when you are stopped at a traffic light.

Now that her battery was a problem for sure - she wanted both batteries replaced with proper Jeep parts. Trish wasn’t going to get on a ferry with a sketchy battery.

So the Comox Valley Dodge service department was great BUT Jeep needs to come up with a better idea than this two battery system.

They had to take apart an inner fender to get at the auxiliary battery. Most cars with this fuel saving method only use one battery. PLUS the cost of the Jeep replacement batteries was ridiculously high!!

$1400.00 to replace two batteries is crazy.

Like I said the dealership was wonderful but the Head Office needs to be more reasonable with the pricing of their replacement parts.

While I may have some bias towards CV Dodge as my father in law worked there for many years and my husband has been working there for many years (techs), I just recently purchased my first vehicle from there it was such an easy experience!
I had dreamed of owning a Grand Cherokee for many years and decided it was finally time to make my dream a reality. I reached out to Beau on the sales team and told him exactly what I was looking for. I was being extremely picky with what I wanted and what years I was interested in.
After weeks of messaging back and forth about different cars, I finally took one on a 24hr test drive. I had the opportunity to spend some time with the vehicle without any pressure and make sure it was the vehicle for me. It was.
The next morning I arrived at the dealership and handed them the keys to my car and said that I wasn’t giving the jeep back so let’s do this. While we were waiting on the paperwork to arrive and insurance to be done, they took the jeep and gave it another cleaning, filled the gas tank and fixed the few minor things I’d noticed. Everything was so smooth and efficient! I have bought cars from several dealerships in the past but this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had.
To Beau, Carson, Max, Shar and Tyler. Thank you for making my dream come true. You took a typically stressful situation and made it so easy and relaxing and you made me incredibly happy.
I make sure to tell everyone to go see you guys when car shopping or looking for service. You truly are the best at what you do.

Bought a 2020 tundra. The place is big clean and well lit.
After getting home and going over the truck
I have some issues
1 was told i would get the car fax report. It was not in the paperwork package. Emailed and asked for it. It has not come yet. I know i have the right email address
2 was told i would get more information about an accident the truck was in. Was told it was minor and was paid in cash the salesman told me he knew the old owner and getting the information would not be a issue
(This is a major red flag almost did not buy the truck because of this). Again no information
3 there was a small leak on the rear end. Was told they would look at it. When i got home found out the fill plug was just finger tight
4 was told the automatic running boards did not work because they were rubbing. Turns out the boards were not hooked up No wires on the motors
5 advertised 40k turned out to be 49k
Wish i never bought this truck and really regret going to this dealership

It is now the end of May
Emailed Carson and still have not heard anything from this dealership
I am a volunteer firefighter in Youbou and i am making sure no one that i know buys a vehicle from you
