Removing one star for this: The only strange thing was last fall when I asked if my car had rust under it they told me I needed to point out rust spots to them because I bought diamond rust protection.... so I have no idea if my car is rotting out underneath.

Really happy with the service department here. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Any problems are quickly rectified when brought to managements attention. They take customer service seriously and it shows.

Dealership refuses to give refund even though it’s in the fine print… Dealership doesn’t want to take the profit loss. Called numerous times and even threatened if I took legal action
In the financial office I was also manipulated to get a co-signer to get a lower interest rate or get extended warranty which simply isn’t the case as Banks decide the interest rates. Naïve at the time

I have credit of 755. Paid 10,000 down on 29,000-30,000 vehicle taxes and fees included plus I paid 20,000 to 21,000 over the last two years to pay it off and only owe 8,000-9,000 currently after lump sum payments and financed it for 5 years. Wanted to show I am creditable
I am extremely disappointed and in disbelief and have provided word of mouth to numerous friends and family in the Pictou area they have experienced similar poor experiences from this dealership specifically
My recommendation is to avoid this dealership at all costs

Went to the dealer over a noise in front end. Car is still covered by warranty. Service takes my car in looks it over , takes it back out and tells me it's the rear sway bar links. Also tell me they are not covered by warranty and proceed to charge me a $65 diagnostic charge. I called Hyundai Canada who tells me the sway bar links are covered under warranty. This back in September 2022. I called to ask about the diagnostic charge I shouldn't have been charged and was told I would be called back. This is now February 2023 and still have not received a phone call about my issue. When a car is under full warranty and the problem is a warranty issue there is no diagnostic charge, they are suppose to fix the problem!

This is the 7th Hyundai vehicle I have owned over the past 30 years and I have purchased them all from Central Nova. There service department is friendly and they know their stuff. Matt was my sales guy this time around and his attention to my needs as well as his knoweldge of Hyundai vehicles is amazing. We love our Tucson. It has everything we want in a hybrid and we love driving it. It is decked out with an array of features. It has a very quiet interior when on the road and has lots of room for both passengers and cargo. Thanks Matt, the experience was excellent.

Poor customer service.👎 I walked in looking to purchase a new vehicle with a friend but we both felt insulted when leaving the showroom. The staff didn't even bother to welcome us and wanted to get rid of us as soon as they can. Decided not to purchase a hyundai car.👎
Service advisor Blair did not try to upsell my service visit. He actually advised that my car didn't really need the transmission service that I requested to be done. I went ahead with it anyway. He also advised that there was a warranty fix for a steering wheel bushing that was done. Being an out of province customer he could have easily passed on the warranty work but took care of it. I am very happy with this dealership and Blair is a definite asset to them.
If the stars were more than 5 they would certainly get it from us.in the position of needing a vehicle asap due to circumstances beyond our control , the staff especially John Chisholm helped us beyond our expectations from the initial 1st phone call, to our arrival and signing the contract with Crystal Baillie . I had to chuckle when I scrolled down through the reviews and saw that George Abbass (the sales manager) gave a Five star review. After my experience with him yesterday, ( I was trying to get some pricing and info on a new vehicle), I’d give him zero stars if I could. I didn’t like the way they do things at all. What a joke of a dealership, I wonder how many more of the five star reviews are salespeople or employees?
Always had a positive experience there. Especially with one of the mechanics that is handsome and tall (bit of a dad bod) and speaks very knowledgeably about what he does. I believe his name is Kyle. I will always go back to have my car fixed by him!

To get an oil change because whoever books the appointments somehow understood an service/oil change as getting me in for a 4 point brake inspection!!! Then I had to go back and pay another $115.00 to haVe the oil changed that I took in for originially. When contacted the store was told it was my fault and I asked for that when calling? As if I would know to ask for that. Filled a complaint that went to head office, waiting to hear back from them!!! Unacceptable. Can't help but think of others who may also be getting ripped off and not notice so make sure You confirm what you are asking for and confirm at pick up thats what was done!!!!! or you will be responsible to pay for their mistakes!!!
Purchased a 2013 Kia Sorento 2 weeks ago. My salesman was Matt McDonald, + he was great!
My problems are with the Service Dept. The car was revving way to high. I brought it into the service center, only to be told it was a heat sensor + not to worry about it. I didn't agree, so I took it over to McQuarries to have them look at it. Thank god I did!! The rear calipers were seized, + the rotors + pads had to be replaced. As I would be driving it across Canada ( I had already told this to Hyundai), my mechanic told me the brakes wouldn't of made it there. I went back to the service tech at Hyundai, to show him I just paid almost $700 to get that work done, + how did the car pass their inspection?? Got little interest + they coulda cared less. Great service! NOT!!!!!

All seems to be well when you're under warranty but things take a turn beyond that. Repairs now become very expensive and those requiring diagnostic skills can become a lengthy "lets try this" session well you're footing the bill. A solid,rust free and other wise sound older vehicle can quickly see labour charges approaching market value. There is at least one person at the service desk that tries to fake mechanical knowledge and will try to charge you for any little thing they can. The cars themselves seem to be built for reliability during warranty period but it's probably advisable to look at another vehicle towards warranty end.
Yesterday i bought my second Hyundia Elantra. I was very pleased with the service. I was indecisive and Brent was there with me helping me chose the right car for me. I am very happy with my new 2021 Hyundia Elantra, and my experience i had. Being introduced to the Hyundia team that would continuing servicing my car was a nice added touch. After owning a Hyundai Santa Fe for 11 years, we decided to shop around and try out something different. We tried many different dealerships and SUV’s and thought at one point we had come to a decision. Then we decided to try the New 2020 Santa Fe. Our old one had been good to us so we decided to give a new one a try. Boy, were we impressed! Everything we liked about the other vehicles we had tried and then some.
