I took my car in for a regular service today and I just wanted to say the entire experience was great! I was greeted by Micheal Smith and he was super nice, very helpful! As soon as I was done with the initial paperwork there was a shuttle ready to take me to work right away. As soon as my service was done Mike called and there was a shuttle at me work within 15 minutes to pick me up. Waterloo Honda is really focused on giving their customers the best and ease free experience. Also their shuttle drivers are so friendly and funny.

He did a great job of defining what we were looking for. We left the dealer ship equipped to think and make a decision. We were back within two days to purchase our new 2019 Honda Odyssey Van at a fair agreed price. I would rate the whole experience at a 10 out of 10.

I purchased a new CR-V from Jorge Sandoval of Waterloo Honda. I would recommend him highly. I found him to be pleasant, knowledgeable and and most accommodating throughout the purchase process. I made him aware that I was evaluating a number of options to replace my Rogue and at no time did he exert any pressure to buy a Honda. He did, however provide comparisons between vehicles. He also assisted me to choose a Honda model that would meet my needs and expectations. On the day that I picked up my new car, I had an extensive in-car review related to the operation of the CR-V, its features, safety and driver assist tech, and its audio, bluetooth, wifi and Apple Carplay links. Purchased a car from Waterloo Honda over the past 4 days from spotting THE ONE online late Fri night. Filled out the estimate for my trade in and within 5 minutes, was contacted by a real person (Ming Ge) via message. Went and test drove Saturday morning. Worst honda showroom i have ever been to. Chris the manager is very rude. There was a big dent which they did not tell and after we purchase the car and on the day of delivery they said its your problem. When we asked for help, Chris guy who is the sales manager said "I have to ask you to leave. It is not our problem. You should have bought the new car instead of old". though it is 2018 honda car which was driven only 28000. Even while purchasing they added extra 1000$ in the payments. If i did not have caught it, they would have charged extra 1000$. They are doing a big scam for sure.

Waterloo Honda has always been fantastic to deal with, I have gone to their service department for a few years but recently was forced into a position of needing to purchase a vehicle. My current car was hit when parked on the road and ultimately deemed a write off. Leah was our product advisor and she was amazing to deal with. She understood the position we were in and helped us secure the vehicle we wanted, while we waited to hear from our insurance on the status of my current car. She was incredibly patient with us as we talked through everything (as this was our first time car shopping), but also a huge help in narrowing down what vehicle best suited us. I went to Waterloo Honda earlier last week to look at buying a new civic. I have been loyal to Honda for awhile and this might have been my greatest experience yet. I met with salesman Danny and he walked me through all the different aspects of the new civic. Every question I had he answered without hesitation. He was honest and fair with the prices and created a very relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend this Honda location and Danny to anyone that is considering buying or lessening a new Honda.

The woman that made the final sale for us was very pushy and rude. She was making us rush and make a decision we did not want to make. I basically got tricked into giving 500 down. They gave me a low price and made me confirm the deal. After that when they pulled out a bunch of other expenses and told me about those I got confused and started regretting getting the car. When I asked for a refund for the 500 that I had put down they refused.

The other thing that absolutely shock me was the fact that I would have to ask 10-12 times in 10-12 ways about the final price (after tax, down payment, interest, warranty) basically the absolute total, I had to ask the same question over and over and I'd get a different price every single time. Can you believe it? For example I'd be like "So what's the final price after taxes, interest and everything added up?" and she would say "it's $56,800" and I'd repeat "So not even $0 more than that ever?" and she'd say "yes" and then I'd ask some more questions and then she'd say "then there is the $8000 down payment on it" which means that is separate from the 56,000... That's how it confused the heck out of me.

so please before you actually make a deal, think about it and analyze it with someone that has done it before otherwise you will easily get charged a couple thousand dollars extra.

Purchased a car from Waterloo Honda over the past week. Went and test drove last Friday and picked the car up Wednesday morning. Jorge, Tod and Nathan were fantastic to deal with and made the process super simple and stress free. Brittany took care of the final paper, switched the plates and helped me take delivery of our new vehicle. Jorge is very experienced and knows his Honda product well. I'm writing this as unbiased as I can, I feel like after the management switch, you can feel that they just want your money. Taking my car in for service with some issues, get a quote on the phone, take the car in, tell them I only need 1/2 of the service done, get the car back, and it costs $100 more to do less service than what was originally scheduled. Interesting. I get the car back, the issue isn't fixed, the rear left of my car is still grinding when I brake, so I decide to go to another mechanic. They ask when my brakes were least serviced. About 2 weeks ago at Waterloo Honda. They're surprised and are essentially like... They must have forgotten to do them. So what did I even pay for? I didn't have to pay anything at this other place for them to actually diagnose the issue and plan to fix it, although I had already paid Waterloo Honda to do...I don't know what.

Anyways, I don't want this to come back to the staff - they are very friendly, and I wish I hadn't had such gross experiences with this place being such a money grab, it's just difficult to trust this place.

I suggest going to other Honda dealerships in the area if you're looking for honesty and to be treated like a human.

I am a customer of Honda-Waterloo.I brought brand new Honda Civic 2017 model.I used air conditioner for only one season, by second year compressor gone for a brand new car.went to showroom for diagnose without doing anything said that the issue with compressor and spare parts are not available for about 4 months,which is an unexpected answer.
Few days after got a call from Honda about trading and valued my car way less than what we expect and response of sales agent is weird.
Never ever prefer the Honda as their vehicle service and customer service both are unsatisfied.

Bought my 2013 Fit from here and although they put on a good service show and talk politely, I ultimately always leave disappointed. This most recent time, they called me with a promotion for a free full inspection. I also needed an oil change and the air bag recall. They booked me for three weeks later and when i brought it in they didn't seem to care that i had an "appointment," which really made it seem like I didn't need to wait three weeks. They insisted on doing the B1 service, which included a full inspection, and cost $180. I pointed out that I brought the car in because of the "free full inspection" and he didn't respond to me about it. I brought it up a second time, wondering which amount of my B1 inspection would be compensated and he acknowledged that there is a promotion and then moved on, never actually answering my questions. I decided not to make a scene and figured maybe I was missing something that the B1 service would contribute beyond an inspection. I had to assume these things because he would never directly answer my questions about the actual nitty gritty of the charges. When I picked up my car and examined the bill, I saw that the entire B1 service is simply a full inspection and that I was charged the whole amount of $180. In addition, they had the audacity to put a separate line item indicating I had ALSO received a "free" full inspection. I'm blown away by how awful and frustrating my experience was. If I'm presented with a promotion for a free service and come in to take advantage of that promotion, I don't expect to pay full price for that exact service, especially after I ask about it twice.

When booking an airbag recall, dealership requires an entire day for the 2-3 hour job. Would have really preferred to not lose my vehicle for an entire day, or be given a loaner in exchange. Had no control over the fact that Honda required the recall, and don’t want to risk my safety with a defective airbag.

Would be appreciated if they found a way to either 1)Book more efficiently 2)Provide a loaner or 3)Consider mobile service.

Very disappointed with the Service department. kept an appointment and dropped off the vehicle at 8.00am for replacement of spark plugs. The vehicle starts to move ahead the queue only at 4.30pm, after we arrive to pick. I had to miss a doctor's appointment (I have to reschedule after 5 months). Waited till 5.45pm to pickup the vehicle. A hour and half job. They could have called, if they cant honor their time schedule. This is not the first time, after making a morning appointment, I was the last customer sitting till 8.30pm for replacement of winter tires. They are focused in selling cars rather than service them. Did brought to the notice of Service manager. No idea if that makes a difference. All one stars are for Service...

This was the first time we took our Honda Accord for a service to this center as the one before this was done in a different city. We we're pleasantly greeted by Sara and the manager Rob looked after our needs. Leaving the technical bit aside what I loved most about this visit was Rob's professional attitude with a casual and friendly touch of customer service. It was a weekend and clearly a very busy time with clients lining up, shifting their weight from one foot to another. Rob greeted every customer and ensured that everyone knew what was happening and that he was aware of everyone's presence and that everyone would be heard. Long story short he is great at customer care and knows his job really well and does it with an awesome attitude. We we're informed about the time our service would take and promptly received the car with all that needed to be done. Great experience and thank you to the staff of Honda.

I would give no stars if I could.

My Husband and I bought our first Honda Civic from the Waterloo location and love all the sales staff, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We always took in our car for the regular check up when the car indicated we needed to. Each time we went in we trusted that the Service Tech had our best interest at heart and would only recommend repairs where needed.

I guess that is just my ignorance trusting them that they had our best intentions.

The most recent appointment we went to the Service Tech advised us that we needed all new breaks costing well over $500.00. We kindly declined as my dad is a mechanic himself and would be able to change them out for us.

When he went to change out the breaks he was confused as to why Honda would say we needed new breaks as the ones we had on had a lot of life left in it.

Honda bold faced lied to my husband just to make more money.

I am truly disgusted at their ethics and their lack of respect for their hard working customers to just steal from them.

Today I got my Honda Civic 2014 Lx.
After trying all different types of dealers (Mazda, Toyota and Mitsubishi) I mad my decision to get Honda.
The moment I entered the dealer shop, the receptionist is very welcoming, polite and respectful.
The guy who was responsible for showing me the cars, Dave one of their (Sales consultant). He is one of the nicest guys in the shop.

First, he gave a test drive which was so different, he drives the car first and shows you what it is capable of in terms of handling, speeding and turning. (Not just talking like other dealers) he prove to you what he is talking about, then he gives you the wheel to test it yourself.

He listened exactly to what I'm looking for, was very professional, and offer me one of their cars. however, the price was not in my range. He asked what I'm willing to pay, and he took my offer so seriously and did more than what he is capable of. Amazingly he succeeded and I made the deal and bought the car.

Dave gives a full details about the car, it's like his own car. knows what he is saying. answering my questions and quires professionally.

The day I picked up my car, he gave three gifts (Im not gonna say what are they, keep it as surprise for others :).

The car is washed, gas full, and he set up my phone on the car.

Very satisfied about their service, recommended.

I called in and as soon as the Civic EX arrived at the dealership lot, I was notified and I was the first to test drive it that same day. Sales rep Jim's attitude was relaxed and professional and put us at ease, at no time was there any undue pressure. Prior to Waterloo Honda, I had been to various dealerships and none have been as pleasant and accommodating as Waterloo Honda. Combined with excellent customer service and their willingness to negotiate, we quickly came to quite a reasonable price that I could not refuse and that made me decide purchase the vehicle right there and then. I live over 1 hour away from Waterloo and I can say without any regrets that it was a trip well-worth my time for the excellent service and experience that I received from purchasing a car from Waterloo Honda. I will definitely recommend Waterloo Honda for my friends and family.
