Decent place to buy a car but terrible place to service said vehicle. Was not informed of a certain fix they did (I found it on the bill after), had to take it back again after main problem was “fixed”, and total price kept increasing. Was sadly also very unimpressed with customer service’s “response” to follow up (“yeah we should have gotten your consent before fixing that, I’ll remind them”).

My wife went in for an oil change and was told she needed a brake job done. Brakes were done oil change was not. Called back to say we needed to book another appointment as oil change wasn't done. Long story short she was called a liar "if we booked you for an oil change it was done". My wife asked him to check the records and he refused.
She asked for a discount for the inconvenience (and probably because she felt insulted). She was asked to book the oil change without knowing the discount price. She asked what the discount was before she booked. After laughing at her he said $10 bucks off was the offer and she told him to forget it.
This type of customer service us all to popular everywhere and I feel the only way to correct this is to make others aware of these unacceptable service practices.

This was the first car that I purchased brand new, and I was nervous, because I have never leased a car before and I was probably not the easiest customer to deal with because I had so many questions. I went to the dealer cause the winchild fluid was leaking. I was told that it has a bottle fluid was broken. I agreed to fix it. I paid for it. The next day it was leaking again it was something else. No labor was charged but the part was. The customer service is amazing but fixing problems not that much.

This is without question the worst experience we have ever dealt with an auto service department. They charged us to "reassess" a known issue that they had previously seen and documented on their file. They also attempted to deny our valid comprehensive warranty. They were also extremely patronizing to my partner when attempting to justify the charges.

We would strongly suggest considering other service departments before bringing your vehicle here.

Service department performed more extensive service than requested without providing explanation prior to doing so. When pressed after the fact, I was given the run around and it was clear that the service manager has provided the same response to others before, it sounded nearly scripted. It was clear that they didn't care to get my future business. Very disappointed with how I was treated, I'll go elsewhere to have service completed on my Honda.

I had gone in to have the breaks checked as it was making noises and since I was directed a few months from a previous tech, I took the car in for follow up. This is covered under warranty and I also called in advance to confirm. However, when I got there, the tech was more concerned with charging me than actually looking at the vehicle. He argued with me saying "what if" scenerios and trying to get me to sign the paperwork for the labour when in fact the car is under warranty!!

I had also called about and informed him in person that the car seems to be swerving to one side, but wanted to make sure if it's an alignment issue or something else - since I'm no expert - he wanted to charge me 160$ for that. I don't even know if that's the issue, and his colleague even told him that it should be checked and if under warranty they can fix it. I asked if they can check that so I know. His response was if I'm not willing to sign to agree to pay prior to having the car inspected, he took the pen and crossed it off entirely off from the list of issues to be looked into. This tech was just trying to charge me for anything and everything possible even if the car is under warranty - maybe because I came in alone as a single female, he thought he can pull a fast one.

But I will say this, I will never go back. I bought my Honda there and will never buy a single car from that dealership again.

Excellent experience!

I live in Ottawa and I called “Anthony” to buy a used 2017 Honda Civic Touring over the phone. The whole process was fantastic, simple and Anthony made it super easy. I was able to pick it up three days after the sale. The car is in great condition and was detailed perfectly (looked brand new at pick-up). Well worth the drive as the Ottawa market is bit overpriced.

Brought in for an estimate and the repair is not worth doing due to the age of the vehicle so I declined the service. On the invoice it was noted that there is a large power steering fluid leak and low coolant. For the coolant it indicated 'declined service' which I did not. By all means top it up, but I guess because I wasn't going for the huge repair they put it down as 'declined service'.

There was also no estimate, or diagnosis, for the power steering fluid leak. I called back and the service desk tried to provide more info, but there was none to be found. I can only assume they want another $58 to provide an estimate on that. No idea where the leak is, what would have to be replaced, or the cost. Not terribly helpful. Disappointed.

Not the warmest service you'll get here. It's a busy location with a tiny and dated display room. I've tried to visit a few times just because it's close to home and would like to consider Honda for my next vehicle. In those times, the sales staff were sometimes ignorant, sometimes dismissive. I'm surprised I didn't leave with a business card in hand or a name from three visits. Very interesting sales technic?

Extended Warranty is a scam. $2,000 and it doesn't even cover things like a prematurely exploded Shock. 2017 Civic with an exploded shock? Yeah, sounds like it should be covered- but isn't. Dealership recommended I re-read the extended warranty coverage -- THAT is the kind of response you might expect with a Westgate Honda Honda. If you're wondering, a prematurely exploded shock (ONE) would cost you $350 plus tax. They didn't even recommend replacing them both (which is best practice). Unhappy? Yeah. Disappointed? Even moreso.

Always great customer service - sales and repairs. They go out of their way to do their best for customers. Tim the salesman has been classy and helpful each time I purchased a car with him - didnt get the sense he was being greasy with us. Service department is quick, professional. When my new civic had a couple issues after a week of driving they quickly got me in and made things right, getting me into a loner car immediately. They were visibly embarrassed by the repairs needed and apologetic - Tim made sure things got done for us. Will always go back just based on their customer service.

They may not be a big box dealership, but who wants that in a city like London with so many others going that way ? Great traditional customer service and old school honesty. After the first week owning the vehicle I had the wish to cancel the warranty as I though that it would not be financially wise for me at the moment. they gave me a hard time when I was trying to cancel the plan, but at the end of the day everything worked fine. The staff worked efficiently through all the process, and I ended up happy with my new wheels.
In my opinion, It is all about customer service! it is not difficult to put an extra effort/time to make the best service for the customer.

On Saturday, I dropped by Honda service for slightly deflated tire. They took a look without an appointment and said it’s minor pressure lost, they are not too concern, and inflated the tire.
On Monday morning I got a completely flat tire.

I've been a Westgate Honda customer for over 7 years. Purchasing my first Accord in 2008 to my current 2014 Accord, I have recommended Westgate Honda (earning my trust), to many family and friends who in turn purchased their vehicles and has had great sales and after sales service.
I have been told I have high standards in my professional career and Westgate has met my standards continually.
From the sales dept (Jesse), to Finance (Ken), to Service (Demtrie, Kurt and their team - front and back, to Parts, to the shuttle service (Claire), your embraced with a "sincere" no excuse - no non sense approach to find solutions to correct the problem. Your were treated with their family values.
My 2014 Accord had minor issues (as all cars do) that needed addressing- these issues were dealt with from the TEAM. The above noted people and their team members TOOK CHARGE ~ no passing the buck! They had an ACTION PLAN to resolve SUCCESSFULLY my concerns.

I have been a Honda owner for several years and have been a customer of Westgate Honda for a while now. My experience has always been exceptional, from the service department to the sales staff. So when it came time to trade in my vehicle I went to see Gerald Baresich in the sales department. Gerald showed me several different vehicles and when I decided which one would best suit me, we began the process. Purchasing a vehicle is a major investment, and I must say that it was a thoroughly pleasant experience, not once did I feel pressured. Gerald explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. He and Steve Jones made the entire purchasing process enjoyable and easy, not to mention giving me a great deal. When it comes time to buy another vehicle the first place I will head to will be Westgate Honda in London. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
