STAY AWAY. As a female going in to purchase my first vehicle, I must have had a huge Novice stamp across my forehead. I paid full ticket price for a 2 year old Honda Civic that had just come off a lease in Dec 2019 or Jan 2020. Despite this, at possession, they removed the car mats from the vehicle, and gave me half a tank of gas, when their contract specifically states vehicle should have a full tank at possession. When I called to ask about the mats, they claimed the car didn't have mats to begin with and refused to supply any??? The previous owner had mats in there, so I know you took them out. Furthermore, their 'Honda Certified' checklist stated that all filters had been changed. During my first oil change, we pulled out all the filters and realized they hadn't been changed since vehicle had been manufactured. The car was also not thoroughly cleaned. After taking it home, I found lipgloss dumped in the center console and the previous owner's ID tag and other belongings under the driver's seat!
I bought additional Honda insurance which I later went in to cancel and their customer service was awful. They had me sitting in waiting area for 30mins before I had to go remind the front counter staff; they had conveniently forgot. Finance manager couldn't be bothered...when I stated I had 90 days to cancel the insurance, he replied, "yeah, I'm sure you do.." I then had to go back into the dealership and ask him to come and record the kms on my car, as per the requirements for insurance cancellation. Buddy seemed like he couldn't be bothered the entire time.
I should have known better and I had considered this an expensive lesson, but when I recently heard a co-worker had a similar experience, I knew the least I could do was put out a caution for others going to Westwood Honda in Port Moody.

We purchased a 2018 Honda CRV-Touring. We found Westwood Honda to be very helpful and professional. The members of the sales department treated us with respect and we completed the negotiation feeling we had been dealt with honestly.
The only concern we had was when they passed us over to the financing department. We had clearly stated we would be paying cash only and wouldn't be interested in purchasing any extended warrentees. The woman that were dealing with on this portion of the purchase was not as professional . She continued to push for us to go for financing and purchase additional warrenty. She also kept us waiting while she handled personal non emergent family issues on the telephone. She was the only concern we had in dealing with Westwood Honda.
