I walked in Addison dealership looking a car that I was supposed to be getting from another dealer and it took them 2.5 weeks and still left with no car.. So I as told you when I walked into the Addison dealership located on Eglinton I spoke to Kyle Camilleri. Told him that I wanted a car that was the Equinox Active in red. He said yes I have it when would you like to get into it. I said ASAP he said we have the vehicle 🚗 so not a problem. I will try for Friday or Monday morning the latest. Kyle was an outstanding representative. He got me in the car on that Friday.

Disappointed with Service After the Sale

I’ve purchased one vehicle from this dealership and another at gm dealership on Erin mills and another gm at woodbine including a $100,000 car, but I will not be returning or recommending them to anyone. While the buying experience was decent, the service after the warranty ends is unacceptable.

I recently tried to get my running boards fixed and was met with unhelpful, dismissive attitudes from Sean and Mike in the service department. Instead of providing clear answers, they gave me vague quotes like “seven to eight hundred plus, plus, plus” without exact numbers or any willingness to book the repair properly. It felt like they just wanted to rush me out the door rather than provide the level of service you’d expect for such a significant investment in their vehicles.

This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this kind of treatment here, and I’m incredibly disappointed. Once the sale is done, it seems like customer service is no longer a priority. For these reasons, I won’t be shopping here again or referring anyone to this dealership.

This is not on the dealership directly. The people that I have interacted with (mostly the service team) have been very kind. But the problem is much bigger. And it lies with GM. I bought a new 2023 Envision and from the start it has been a painful experience. At first we were sold the car without the heated seats as there was shortage of chips at that time. We were told it will be installed in 2-3 months. But it was not. I wasn't informed about the timeline either. It was me who had to call GM 1800 number and then I was booked for an appointment to get them installed. This is about 8 months from purchase.

Next, we were out on a family trip & suddenly the engine light came on. I was surprised and called roadside assistance. Upon running diagnostics they advised me to get it towed to the dealership. Turns out the engine had issues and the Turbocharger needed replacing. I am now sitting 3 months without the vehicle and no ETA on when I will have it back. No one in the dealership knows when it will be available. They cannot see the ETA on their system either. I called GM helpline & even they have NO clue. In short my new vehicle is sitting on the lot collecting dust & snow while NO ONE at GM has clue when it will be fixed. This is unacceptable in today's day and age.

A big shotout to Sandra Marcinko. I bought Chevrolet Trailblazer 2024. I went in for test drive and completed the paperwork. She made sure I understood everything.She answered all my questions about the vehicle, payments and inventory. The vehicle was not at dealership, but the manger (not sure abt the name) met me and assured that he will make some calls to get my desired trim, color and model and it will be delivered right here at the dealership.
Guess what, within 3 days as it was the weekend Sandra called me with good news. The offer and the whole process was just 10/10.
Once I got my vehicle sandra explained me all the features, the infotainment and helped me setup onstar services which is a plus.
If I ever have to buy a new vehicle, now I know where to go.
Sandra is truly exceptional, honest and reliable. She made the whole process so easy as it was my first purchase here in Canada. Thankyou Addison Team!!

SK SPEEDY SERVICES

I had the unfortunate opportunity of visiting the dealership two times in two weeks...once i left my GMC 2500 HD truck for two days and then i had to leave it for three days.....The Service officer Mr Mike expressed his inability to get it serviced because he had only one diesel technician..........I required a simple fuse to be replaced......but they reportedly did all kinds of diagnostics which cost me initially two hours of time costed at 160 dollars an hour....which cost was again repeated the second week....without any solution and with no guarantee it would be fixed on the third day it was still at GMC Addison.......at which point i was extremely upset. I took it to an electrician who found out in one hour of work....that the fuse was blown and i needed to replace it....They are such rogues who will tell you a cock and bull story....and charge you unnecessary charges and still end up not doing the work....We have six vehicles and we have taken our business elsewhere. I do not recommend even a single star to this team. Mr Luch who is the service manager....instead of listening to my story.....summarily agreed we should go.....they dont have a actual electrical technician....and they dont speak the truth that they cant solve it.......like a bad hospital that flogs a deadman to get maximum out of his dead body....this dealership sucks the blood of innocent customers without disclosing the actual problem they have......this is the second dealership amongst GMC dealerships where i saw this problem. Honest opinion is severely lacking here.

I can’t speak for the dealership on a whole, but this location definitely needs to replace people in their parts department - especially Bruce. I went in to get some quotes for winter tires for my 2024 Terrain which is a fleet vehicle. The moment I said fleet vehicle and that he would need to submit authorization to the fleet management company, Bruce acted like I asked for his first born and gave me so much unnecessary attitude. He then proceeded to whine to me about how my request is extra work for him because my tire sizes are non standard. How can they be non standard? They’re stock and what was provided to me straight from GM. Being the nice guy I am, I didn’t make a scene in front of everyone and quietly left under the ruse that I had to get to work and asked him to call me with the quotes. To his credit, he did call a few hours later. Except in the time it took him to do what I can only imagine is an extremely basic job for a someone in parts, I had driven to another tire shop (Kal Tire), received multiple quotes and had an appointment scheduled for the following week to have my new winter tires installed. Since it’s a fleet vehicle, we’re encouraged to get all service work including tires done at the dealership and that is exactly what I hoped to have done. Instead, the dealership lost what would have otherwise been guaranteed business all because of the attitude and hard time Bruce gave me. With that attitude towards his job, I can only imagine how much business he might have cost this dealership.

I put my deposit in for the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV a few years back. Peter Maiuri, my salesperson, called me to inform that there was an offer for the LT model. I jumped on the offer and was given a thorough test drive that same day. Peter found me an available one from inventory within a day and I was able to pick it up 3 days later. Amazing customer service as he gives honest advice. Peter truly cared to show me how to learn more about the infotainment, charging, and maps related to the car. Very easy purchase. Michael from the parts department was very generous to help me order the mud flaps and floor liners for the car as well. He was ahead of me and asked if I wanted to be on the waitlist for the adapter that allows Chevrolet EV vehicles to charge at Tesla charging stations. When I walked into the drive thru of the service department, Anita served me so quickly! She was able to help out in picking up my vehicle after an exterior clean-up. Super happy with my new car purchase! 😁

Very good service at this dealership. Got one of our 2500HD work trucks towed in here after experiencing an electrical issue and shut down on the road in Mississauga.

Despite not being from the area or ever purchasing a vehicle from their location, they treated us like one of their longtime customers.

The service department even took it upon themselves to fix the tailgate, recall for the truck while he was in their shop.

Truck was almost on empty so they put fuel in it and didn’t mark it up. They only charge us for what they put in it. That’s respectable.

Thanks again maybe we will buy a vehicle from here one day soon.

What a joke I've never been so disappointed with your service sorry lack of service. I've made two attempts now to have a factory recall down on my 2023 Corvette with no luck. The first time you had a third-party hack you can do the update wasted an hour and a half and now today, schedule it for 1030 at 12:30. I asked what was going on and you guys said you couldn't do it because you're having issues with another vehicle trying to do an update on ... I've taken my 2008 Z06 & 2021 Malibu and my 2009 Corvette ZR1 and now my 2023 stingray you'll never see my cars again, extremely disappointed and the lack of Communication and service ..... extremely disappointed over 12 years of using Addison . You'll never see any of my vehicles again.

The customer service at this dealership is downright awful. It's not just about the money-grabbing schemes they pull, but the complete disregard for their promises. When I bought a vehicle from Addison on Eglinton Chevrolet Buick GMC, they assured me verbally that any warranty issues would be sorted out. But did they follow through? Not a chance.
When my vehicle needed B class service, I took it to the Mercedes dealership because the GMC one wasn't licensed for that type of work. Joe Pinch, the UCDA manager, promised it would be covered under warranty. So imagine my shock when I was slapped with a $1100 bill for a service I was told would be taken care of. And when I tried to hold them to their word, they laughed in my face and washed their hands of any responsibility.
The disrespect I faced during that encounter was beyond belief.
But let's talk about the tires. When I bought the car, they promised me two sets of "Good" tires. I asked for summer tires to be put on the vehicle. When I finally got the car on delivery day, the summer tires were in such terrible shape that they wouldn't even pass a safety inspection. Yet, they let me drive off with them anyway, without a care in the world. This implies that the safety inspection was conducted using the winter tires on the vehicle, as the tread on the summer tires was insufficient to pass safety standards. This unequivocally indicates that the summer tires are unsafe for driving.
They treated me like gold until they got my money. Then, they couldn't get me out of there fast enough. This kind of deceit and disrespect has no place in any business.
