2 hours from home and still 2 hours from our destination, my 2014 Trax lost power. Our plan was to find a screwdriver to get at my air filter once we got to Hanna. Not only did the staff lend us a screwdriver, they let us pull it into the bay since it was so cold out. Turns out my turbo was frozen. They even allowed us to leave my car inside to thaw out after finding out what the code was at no cost!!

WARNING: Avoid This Dealership at All Costs!
Hanna Motor Products Chevrolet is, without a doubt, the worst dealership I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. What started as a simple tire service and brake installation turned into a nightmare of incompetence, theft, and outright disrespect.
They failed to torque or thread-lock the caliper bolts on the driver’s side brakes, resulting in uneven braking, damage to my rim, and what could have been a serious accident. While they admitted fault and offered repairs, the process dragged on for over two weeks (despite a one-week estimate), with zero proactive communication. I had to chase them every step of the way.
When I finally got my truck back, it was a disaster. My tools, chargers, and loose change were stolen. My hard-wired USB cable was ripped out. Bags of charity clothing were torn open, and my reusable grocery bags were thrown everywhere. It was clear my truck had been ransacked while in their possession.
When I confronted the manager, he was dismissive and blamed a supposed break-in—on their lot, while they had the keys! No accountability, no apology, just excuses. And let’s not forget the rude, unprofessional staff, including one who mocked me by shouting, “What are you, color-blind?” over a simple mistake about a loaner vehicle.
This dealership is an absolute joke. They are careless, disrespectful, and have no regard for their customers or their vehicles. If you want your truck mistreated, your items stolen, and to be insulted along the way, this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid them like the plague.

The serpentine belt broke on my 2020 Chev Malibu. After a visit by the local mechanic, it was determined that it was the pulley for the air conditioner compressor that had seized. The local mechanic told me it would be thousands of dollars to tow and repair.
I contacted the service department in Hanna and had the good fortune to speak with Stephanie. I explained my predicament and she dug and dug for information until finally she told me that not only was my tow covered, but there was also coverage on the repair thanks to the additional insurance purchased by the previous owner! Now, I only have to pay the $200 deductible! Thank you Stephanie and Hanna Motor Products for the excellent service and for the impeccable dedication to your GM/Chevy customers. I'm hoping I can take my vehicle to you for the repairs because you are definitely a business that I trust! Thank you Stephanie and the other fine employees out in Hanna!

Dec 6/22 Brought my truck in for a part that took a month to arrive. Sat in the waiting room for 4 hours. Was told there was still something wrong with my truck. Needed a sensor. Told it would be overnighted. 3 days after being told part would be overnighted. Still hadn’t arrived. No one returns calls. I had to keep calling them.
Dec 9/22 - Was told me they tried to track the part but it wasn't trackable. But they ordered another one would be in on monday.
Dec 12/22 - Talked to the owner. Was told part came in and truck would be done by the end of the day. Arrived at the dealership just before 4. Was informed truck still had a problem and had to stay. Wasted hours driving way out of my way. A simple phone call that the part ordered did not fix my truck would have saved alot of aggravation. Drove away. Called and asked for the owner as i drove away. Haven't heard back yet. The topper for this is that as i was waiting for my turn the lady in front of me basically had a similar thing happen. Never got a call to say her vehicle wasn't ready. She drove a longways as well. To best sum up their customer relations approach happened right after she left. In ear shot of myself and 2 other customers. the parts guy basically blamed her for not calling ahead to find out. Apparently they think it's up to the customer to provide the customer service.

Had an absolute pleasure dealing with Brian and his staff on some equipment we purchased. We are very happy with the product and got a good deal. Gord was excellent to deal with. The small town atmosphere at Hanna GM was a relieving change from the super corporate feel at other dealerships. Gord and the rest of the team were polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about the product. Quick to communicate and return calls. It was a full day event for us to drive 2.5 hrs to Hanna , pick up the vehicle, and then drive back but it is a trip I would gladly make again to provide these folks with future business.

I had the privilege of purchasing a new Chevrolet 1500 Silverado from a gentleman who called himself Randy Moench. He took the time to carefully walk me through every detail of this beautiful truck and explained to me the difference in each model.
I had come in there with a budget in mind and not only did Mr Moench stay within this budget, but he went above and beyond in every single way. He got me Into a vehicle with far more options than I had anticipated possible and for less a month than the old ball and chain allowed me to spend. To put the cherry on top, he even squeezed an extended warranty plan and a few desired parts (mud flaps and side steps) that weren’t necessities, but “wants”.
I would highly recommend Mr Moench’s services and Hanna Motor Products to anyone serious about not only finding the best deal, but also dealing with honest, moral people.

Never bought a vehicle here, but heard it’s the best place in Ab. To buy a GM product. So I recommended to a friend, and a few years back she purchased a new GMC Yukon. Says it was best price in Ab!
