The service staff at Parkway are extremely professional and helpful! When my vehicle broke down right after the Aug long weekend, Parkway diagnosed the issue and had it repaired in record time! Thank you Lenni for the quick turnaround time. I did not have to miss work because the team got my car repairs done so quickly. Five stars!
I bought an Explorer 2017, at the end of May 2020. Apparently it passed safety, because according to the dealership they cannot register a vehicle without its safety. My battery died on the 3rd day, and 2 weeks later when in remote location. Frustrating. The weather’s been good and so there was no need to use wipers. Then of course I try to spray the windshield washer, and it isn’t working. How can it not be working when this is part of safety check? No one in the dealership was able to provide me with an inspection report that according to the agreement should be mine to keep. I was told that nobody gets the report. But my warranty is based on it. So I don’t know what my warranty covers. How can one purchase a $35000 vehicle and not be able to get the warranty details? Then I took the vehicle to be serviced, of course battery checks ok. The pump from windshield washer was broken so it had to be replaced. As I’m about to drive away, I test the wipers and the sprayer, and now the back sprayer is not working!!! Yet, they told me, I was good to go! What kind of a dealership is this??? Who safeties these vehicles??? There is lack of transparency! If they had nothing to hide, they would provide me with my 119 point inspection report. This is the worst dealership I’ve ever been to. Talking to service people, sales people and their managers is completely useless here. No one takes your side.
This is not how you do business. Would give it zero stars if I could.
I bought a new Fusion in 2010. The sales/finance people were all very nice, the owner/manager did try to convince to pay a $400 GLOBALi mandatory fee because they had a “contract with them". Luckily I called other dealerships & was told because I was getting the car from the factory, its not mandatory.
This is the worst service Ive ever had. They have their own schedule different from the manual & do a lot more work/earlier than it needs. They changed my trans oil at 45000km, but the manual says to do it at 150000km! They tell me to get an oil change every 8000km but the manual says 12000km.
The main concern is the incompetence of the mechanics. Everytime I take the car in I have to take it back 3-10mnths later for the same thing.
The 1st was due to an o-ring attached to the gas tank. Instead of removing the tank, replacing the o-ring & reinstalling the tank they jacked it to the side, replaced the o-ring & put the tank back. I know because they told me. This caused the tank to misalign & gas to spill back out of the opening after I fill up. I took the car in 3 times & 3 times they said nothings wrong, only when I showed them video of it happening did they uninstall & reinstall my tank properly.
The 2nd was the fan they replaced. A month later I was in a traffic jam & noticed a hot engine temp. I took the car in & they said that a fan wires was broken & had to be replaced. I explained how they just installed the fan & thats probably when the wire broke. They didn't care & charged me again.
The last straw was the brakes. I took my car in Jan to get new pads/rotors (were scored) & asked them to check the ebrake, they said its fine. 20,000km/10mths later they told me I need new pads/rotors. They said the pads were seized/cracked & the rotors were scored again. I explained how they just changed the pads/rotors & they didn’t care. I just took my car to TireCo & they confirmed my ebrake was sticking & thats what caused the rotor to score & the pads to wear out prematurely.
Long story short I am never going to them again.
Our experience buying our used van from Parkway Ford was excellent. Silva, our sales advisor, was very professional and easy to work with. The whole staff were very welcoming of my children which was also appreciated as we did our test drive and had our conversations about the vehicle.

I want to share my experience with my recent purchase of a 2020 Lincoln Aviator from Parkway Lincoln. This is my second used vehicle from this dealership, and I can confidently say that they care about both the vehicles they sell and their customers.
I was looking to upgrade from my 2016 Ford Explorer when I came across a listing on CarGurus. The Lincoln Aviator had just been added, so I booked a test drive right away.

Recently bought a used truck from here and was quite disappointed with the service I received. It took a whole week from when I signed a purchase agreement to actually receive the truck despite telling the sales rep that I didn’t have a vehicle and needed one ASAP. After signing, it took 2 full days for the financing manager to contact me to set up financing and then I spent another 2 full days playing phone tag with them before everything else was sorted. I don’t know why she wouldn’t have just emailed me since the information she needed from me was pretty minimal. Even though I told them at least 10 times that I needed the truck Monday she originally tried to schedule the pickup for Wednesday. Only after complaining was I able to schedule a pickup for Tuesday. On Tuesday when I arrived for my appointment, the sales rep didn’t even seem to know that we had an appointment and wasn’t even there. I had to wait in the lounge while 6 other staff members sat around drinking coffee. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the experience. I felt like they were really eager to help me up until I paid a deposit and then I was no longer a priority. It should not take over a week to buy a used vehicle.

Dropped of a friend's car for a recall service as I work close to Parkway Ford. Car was there before 8am but not started for the service recall until after 11am. Expressing to their service team that I'd prefer to get out early from Waterloo and not wait until end of day was clearly not heard or ignored. I got a call at 5 minutes to 5pm stating the car was ready for pickup. So creating an appointment is only a scheduled time, does t mean your actual start time. Next time, we will just avoid parkway Ford service center, even if it's convenient location. I guess this is why their calendar is wide open for bookings currently. Do yourself the favor and find another service center, even for factory warranty and service recalls

From start (coming in, deciding on a vehicle) to applying for financing and getting the truck look less than a week and it was straightforward the entire time.

I had proactively contacted parkway ford to find out if they could replace a set of lost car keys for my late father in law's 2010 Ford Focus and was told it would not be an issue. I THEN had the car towed to the dealer and AFTER it had arrived, I was told shortly afterward that Ford/dealer will not replace the car keys! Apparently, they do not replace car keys for vehicles older than 10 years and "delete the key codes from their database". This is a vehicle that had low mileage and was kept in the garage. The options they gave me were; 1) scrap the vehicle 2) replace the steering column and door assemblies with a new corresponding key set 3) try a 3rd party locksmith service recommended by them. I called the locksmith service and they don't even do car key replacement service anymore. I wonder what other maintenance/services Ford discontinues on their older vehicles that the public should be aware of?
I recently purchased a 2021 F350 from Parkway. My sales associate was Silva and she was exceptional to deal with. I live in BC and this vehicle had everything I was looking for. Rather than write me off as some internet tire kicker, Silva answered all my questions promptly and with professionalism. The entire deal was done via email/phone with no troubles. Parkway Ford is actually the top-tier dealer within the KW regions that I find trustworthy to buy the car from.
First, it is all about people. My sales representative is Linden, and after understanding my preferences and budget, he helped me nail my dream car within two days. Linden and his team offered me what I needed at a super reasonable price with the greatest service. And also, the information flow is always efficient.
Secondly, I love their well-designed showroom and the extensive inventory compared with other dealers (including Toyota and Ford Kitchener) in this region. It is always good to see and test-drive the real car instead of seeing nothing before I made the purchase, so thumbs up for that.
Also, the location is super convenient. I remember it was super convenient to find the food in the nearby Conestoga mall, and it is close to a highway, which makes my visit so convenient each time, even during some rush hours.

Hi all. I needed to take my car in for servicing the other day. In additional to the usual stuff, I sheepishly admitted to a front bumper issue which occurred the previous week. Bumped up against something in a parking lot which caused a section of the front bumper to come apart. They took care of this issue at no charge and corrected the issue.
