My car air conditioning (under warranty) has broken down three times in less then 30 days. Eric Campbell Ford takes no responsibility for the warranty work he has tried to do and this maybe part of the reason the dealership has such a low rating with Ford Canada. Eric Campbell advised they do not have loaner vehicles or a shuttle service while vehicles are being repaired which is something customers may need to be aware of.
When challenged about being asked to pay another deductible fr the same repair, which is how this dealership interprets the extended warranty, the dealership did not agree, and Ford Canada intervened. Initially they fixed a gasket, the second time they replaced the compressor. At this point we are on the third repair and Ford Canada has an open case involving this dealership who has been described as uncooperative.
A top rated Ford dealership repaired the vehicle after an emergency trip out of town was required. They determined despite charging for the repair some of the work was not completed by Eric Campbell Ford. That service Dept thought it could have been an error, and contacted Eric Campbell.
Eric Campbell refused to pay the cost or cost share with the other dealership ( they asked for less then $100. in a cost share agreement). This car was purchased with the employee plan, with a long history of buying Ford Motor Vehicles, however of primary concern to Eric Campbell and his Service assistant is that the car was not purchased from them and they seem to think the car warranty and recall work should be done by the dealer that sold the car. Of note despite being told I should take my car else where by this dealership I did make another appointment to get my air conditioning repaired, hoping the first encounters were an issues going on in the dealership I had no knowledge of. People and business can have bad days was my thinking.

As a consumer using this dealership you might want to know there are laws to protect against repair services. The law says that the garage must give a minimum of 90 day warranties or 5,000 km whichever comes first on repair work. During the warranty period, if it is not practical to take the vehicle back to the shop that did the work, you can have your car repaired somewhere else. By law the original place must reimburse for the cost of work or repairs.

A family situation came up and out of courtesy I called Eric Campbell Ford before my appointment date to advise something had come up and I could not keep the appointment.
Given Eric Campbell has refused to share the cost with a top rated Ford dealer who had no involvement but to understand a customer who had to travel for a family situation and agreed to take on the negotiotion with Eric Campbell as a compassionate Ford family member the likely outcome will be litigation. The Ford dealership, and Ford Canada customer care have provided evidence to be used in litigation.
At this time I am about to head to court to get Eric Campbell Ford to reimburse repair money I paid another Ford dealer to complete the repair Eric Campbell Ford charged to complete.

Mr Campbell can explain to the judge how his dealership repaired the vehicle twice then it still needed a third repair, and the part he says was there disappeared. As a result of his shops inadequate repair I had to travel 3.5 hrs, with my 80 year old mother, during a heat wave without air.
I do not know Eric Campbell personally, and I do see positive reviews of his dealership so I am not sure why they struggled three times with a warranty repair on an air conditioner and are uncooperative with a customer, Ford Canada and a top rated Ford dealership. I can understand having trouble repairing the air conditioning, I cant understand if an error was made in the repair, why not just admit it and move on. This is my experience, the facts about this repair are documented by professional Ford employees. Once this case is settled I will be posting the decision.

The entire dealership was quite rude to my mother, with the owner stating "you're not from around here, you should take your business somewhere else"

The service department improperly did a warranty repair on my mother's vehicle AC by not putting enough coolant in, after taking vehicle to another dealership, their service department confirmed the Exeter location made an error causing the AC to fail again. The repair was done after the dealership was called by Ford Canada, regarding a customer service complaint, so have to assume it was done improperly on purpose.

The dealership refuses to pay for their mistake and Ford Canada has become involved, telling the owner he is not giving very good customer service, and has been asked by the new dealership to cover the cost, to which he replied "I don't care, that lady is crazy"

Stay away if you want your car fixed properly, or courteous service.

Terrible service. Arrive on time and told it would be an hour before they can start my scheduled service. I live a half hour away which they should notice from my account so not worth driving home. Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes and they still can’t tell when it will be done.

I took my brand new mustang in for its first service. I did my research for the break in period and first service expectations. When I brought the car in I asked the service technician to make sure to put 10 quartz of oil for the 5.0L. The service technician argued with me stating it only takes 8 quartz and until he looked it up after I questioned him he came back stating I'm right and it does take 10 quartz. So this was very concerning for me because if I didnt ask for the 10 quartz it could have been under level. After an hour and a half and $172 dollars later I asked the service manager for a report card on the first service and she looked at me like I was a ghost and said no and only gave me the work order. After I checked my Ford pass app for my service history and 3 weeks later still hasn't appeared on my Ford pass app stating it was serviced. Unfortunately cant trust them with my 60k car and if I were ever to go back I'd want to literally be in the shop due to the lack of knowledge they presented me on my mustang. I would like I follow up call to make this issue known to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Everyone I spoke to at the dealership, from Eric to Steve, was so nice and helpful. All the paperwork was ready for me, as arranged by Steve, as I had to travel quite a way to get there. The orientation of my car was very thorough. I haven't remembered it all and am learning bits & pieces every day. I do wish I had picked up a little tube of touch up paint while I was there though, as I have a new stone chip on the front.
I would recommend the dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. I couldn't be happier with my new Ford Edge and the dealership.
