I bought a MKX in july and after 2 weeks discovered the moon roof did not work. This garage bent over backwards especially Trish in the service department, the General Manager and my sales man David Crocker. I had a loaner car for which seemed like forever and I would recommend this dealership to anyone wanting to buy a vehicle. I cannot say enough about the service and the fact that Trish would update me every couple of days to tell me how things were going. Hats off to everyone who helped me get my vehicle back and letting me have a loaner car to drive while mine was getting fixed. Thanks for being so caring to a customer!

Brought in my vehicle for servicing. They did a great job with the inspection it needed and the factory recalls, and the brakes that needed replacing.

However, they managed to break one of the hood latches on the car, and advised me of it me once all the work was complete. I didn’t quite understand what broke, and they quoted me around $300 to fix it. I decided to make my way over the the dealership to have a look, and lo and behold my hood was sticking up on one side quite a bit. I went inside and spoke to someone, who said it must’ve broke when the mechanic was opening the hood to work on the car. Ok, great. Then again proceeded to tell me how much it will cost to fix it. I did a double take when they told me that I was expected to cover this cost. After some back and forth, and explaining that they broke my hood latch so they should be responsible, they finally agreed to fix it and cover the costs. To which they did, and it was fixed the next day. Took more discussion and time than it should have, but they did right by it in this case. No apology was ever offered or anything.

The main reason I brought it in was because it was stalling in the middle of the road. They diagnosed it and told me it probably needed a new battery. Great! I paid for the diagnosis and the other work they did, I went out, got the battery and replaced it myself. All was good for a few days. Then it started stalling again. I called in to let them know that their diagnosis did not work as the problem came back a couple of days later. They asked that I bring it back in so they can have another look at it.

Before booking the appointment, I proceeded to ask if they were going to charge me for another diagnosis because their first one was wrong. After a long hold, and talking to other people in the service department I was told that they would need me to bring the car in for them to determine if they would charge me again for another diagnosis.... huh???

I asked for them to explain, and the best I got was that if it was a related problem they probably wouldn’t charge, but if it was unrelated they would. I explained to them that it’s the same problem that I had before, so it’s 100% related. They said that they can’t guarantee anything and that they may charge me for it, may not. Who knows.

That’s the last time I’ll be dealing with this dealership. I don’t think they understand what good customer service is like, especially given the amount they charge for their services you’d expect it to be better than that.

My interactions with staff were great. I was kept informed every step of the way. I was contacted any time there was progress or if there were any questions for me Brian kept me up to date throughout my vehicle's stay. He even did the peperwork for my towing. Re is a great people person. I'm not sure why my clutch isn't considered part of the power train though, because without it , it doesn't matter how well the engine and every other part of the power train is working, you're not going anywhere.

Our Ford Escape had engines issues while we were visiting Halifax. We contacted Steele Ford, they got the car in the next day. Diagnosed the issue. Ordered the part that day and installed the part the next day. Being in Halifax for medical treatments, Steele ford eliminated a great deal of stress i was feeling as a result of the extra issue of a car having issues. I was extremely pleased with their service and attention to detail. Their video updates sent to us was an extremely nice touch in keeping us informed

Went in 2 years ago for oil change, winter tires put on. Didn't change the oil, failed to change the winter tires. Claimed no Lock Bolt to unlock my car. Found lock bolt key sitting on the drivers seat when I picked up the car. It had been moved from where I told them it was (the cup holder). So a technician put down the dust protector on the seat, picked up the lock bolt, put it the seat, and then immediately forgot it was there.

I've never been back for service yet receive constant reminder calls "Your car is due for it's regular maintenance." I keep calling them and telling them I don't get maintenance done. Ask them to remove my phone number from their records. They lie to me and keep calling me back. I had to put a block on their phone number after 2 years of them calling me every few months.

Now they email me. The Remove From Mailing list doesn't work. I'm now at the point where I'm going to report them for CanSpam Act violations because I'm just exhausted by their relentless, automated pestering of me.

To their credit they did offer me a free service to get the Winter Tires and oil change done, but I declined.

The team here is great! I've had my escape for 16 months and a fluke thing happened and the engine needed to be replaced. They were empathetic, took care of everything under warranty, set up a rental car for me to drive around in the interim and they allowed me to drop the rental back off at their location when my car was ready for pick up! When my car was in the shop I realized that I needed some items from my vehicle, such as work keys, prescription sunglasses etc. They were quick to grab the items for me and put them aside. Everything was smooth and as much as it was an inconvenience for this work needing to be done it was a very pleasant experience and I have zero complaints. I was able to come out a happy customer! I bought a Ford F-150 through your dealership last week. I walked in Steele Ford Lincoln after talking to three other Ford dealerships, in and around HRM. I believe I was up front with the truck I was looking for to each of the dealerships. I only asked the same in return. No run around, just be upfront and honest.
So first off, I want to give a big thumbs up to the hiring team at Steele Ford Lincoln. Every employee there greets you in one way or another. And as far as your sales team goes, I met one sales representative named George Smith, who gives me no reason to try another dealership again. I told George what I was looking for and he delivered. Literally, I was uncomfortable having to put a deposit down on a vehicle I never seen. He assured me that this happens often, and nothing but complete satisfaction would be acceptable for the sale to be completed. The truck had to be delivered from a dealership outside HRM. George showed me the interior of the same style truck while test driving the same engine in another.
The truck arrived a couple of days later due to winter weather conditions. I received a call, went to view it for the first time and felt relieved that it was exactly as promised. George repeatedly said, even after the sale if I have any issues, “do not hesitate to call me, we will take care of you”.

The reception people at the service center were great but I waited an hour and a half for the shuttle to take me to work. The one time I saw the shuttle driver he was going in the opposite direction and laughed when I told him where I needed to go. He then walked away and I haven't heard from him since. My vehicle is almost done now so I'll wait for it and head to work 2 hours late. If this kind of delay with the shuttle is happening, people should be informed when booking the appointment so they can make other arrangements.

Always seems to be behind, not very good when you drive an HR to get there in the first place to have to wait longer. They do a better job then truro though. One complaint, I had one tire a bit low, figured they would of filled it on their multi point inspection and service, but nope the low tire light was first thing to greet me getting back in my vehicle. I had the best experience with Tracey Scanlon. She is very much focused on her customer which isn't always the case with other sale representatives. most times, sales representatives are focused on the sale, not the customer and they tend to pressure you.

Would not recommend Steele ford unless you don’t mind waiting 8 hours for a oil change.
Would give 0 stars but they did pass my safety inspection with illegal window tint worth a couple stars for breaking the law

Do you need an oil change in less than 8 hours! Then this is not the place for you. Ford is without a doubt the slowest service I've ever come to know. It doesn't matter how quickly you need your car back, they'll tell you 2 hours, but it's always way longer. You'll check your phone as the hours go by, maybe 4 hours in you give them a call to see what's going on. That's when they drop the "oh we haven't started yet" on you. Then 4 more hours go by, you get upset that they aren't done yet, so you back to the dealership, just to find out they still aren't done. Overall, drop your car off as early as you want, but expect it to be done no earlier than 430

I had looked at prices, options and cars through their inventory and elsewhere. I was introduced to Bob Powers in the dealership. Bob was helpful, patient, and honest. By the end of the week I had my new Fusion which I love. I have described it as ' like driving a couch' it is so comfortable. It handles much better though.

The sales team was fantastic and made buying a used car easy. The service department was great too. The only exception was I told them I needed a shuttle home because I was leaving my car all day. I waited for an hour and the shuttle didn't come back so they ended up sending me home in a cab. When it came time to come back to pick up the car, they told me the shuttle was not available to come to my area. If you are going to offer shuttle services, they should make sure it is available!

After 4 years of driving a piece of crap Focus, with problems starting almost a month after we got the car, we were able to get out of the lease early thanks to another dealership buying out our old lease. We returned the car on October 17,2015. At least once a month since we returned the car, we get a phone call, or an email, or a BS letter wanting us to come back and offering us deals! We have told them we would NEVER go back to them and to remove us from their contact lists, but they never listen! The Service Department is the worst I have ever experienced...from the Manager all the way down to the Advisors. They are all rude, and watching out for each other instead of the customers. The dealership Manager is just as bad and only cares about his staff...not the lies and deceitfulness of his staff. I would never recommend Steele Ford to anyone! Horrible car, and horrible Service Department. The only good thing I can say about this dealership are the sales floor staff...and that would only apply to a limited few. Had to give 1 star for it to post, otherwise there would be no stars. Steele Ford...please stop contacting us.

I had to chase this dealership for weeks to get a fuel tank replaced under a recall for my Ford Edge. Imagine: Ford tells you that you need to have your fuel tank serviced due to a manufacturer's defect and you have to chase one of their dealers to get the work done. I was told on my first visit that the work would be done that day or I would get a loaner. the work wasn't done and NO loaner! I went home after being told that I would be called when the part was in. I never got a call. When I called them, they had no idea what was going on. I had to wait another 3 weeks and only got a part because someone else was out of town.
VERY BAD!!!!! (P.S. - I had to give them 1 star or the post would be accepted - otherwise it would have been NO stars!)
