Whether a minor or major problem, with a friendly greeting the service desk takes down the symptoms and schedules an appointment that suits us. The technicians are thorough, making sure we understand what’s going on. Several times we’ve had to show up unannounced for a quick fix. And if we are waiting in the lounge, staff check on us frequently and make sure we don’t get dehydrated.

Very disappointing. Took my truck in for service and said it was misfiring. Was told they would check it out and check the spark plugs (as I specifically asked about the plugs). I got a report back with some ambiguous mention of maybe a timing chain problem (stating that there were some timing codes showing), maybe something else and was quoted about $5,000 to replace the timing chain and even then it might not resolve the problem completely. It was then suggested that perhaps I'd be better off to just buy a new truck, and efforts were shifted into getting me to test drive vehicles. I can't speak poorly of the sales people, as they were doing their job and were actually really nice to work with, but the clear effort to get me into a new vehicle from both the service side and the sales side was evident. I took my truck to a guy in Saskatoon who changed out the spark plugs and it is running like new. He said there were no timing codes showing up at all. I am bringing this forward to Ford Canada and am considering litigation. I am very disappointed in this situation and I'm glad I spent a few dollars to get the plugs changed and not the $84,000 they were trying to get me to spend unnecessarily on a new vehicle.

I certainly will never bring a vehicle for service to a dealership again, as there is a clear bias when there is a retail side of the business. We're all human and we all want money, and this is why a dealership service department can never be fully trusted.

I propose that dealerships should never be allowed to offer service beyond warranty work. It would be like your doctor owning the pharmacy next door but your doctor had the ethics of car sales; can you imagine how many inappropriate medications you would be prescribed?!?!

I had a rattle coming from my moon roof on my 2015 F150 Lariat and the issue was fixed quickly. Thanks to Jack and Trevor for the quick and courteous service. Whatever the problem was it was corrected and my truck is free of rattles. As always the service at Northland Ford is excellent...that's why I keep going back!

I put in an offer on a vehicle and waited 2 hours only to hear back that the sales manager was on the phone for two hours selling the vehicle I put an offer in on to another customer for more money. Afterwards when I talked to the sales manager and said I would be leaving a google review of my experience he asked if I was threatening him. Next sales manager told me what goes around comes around and that karma was going to get me. I emailed the General Manager about my experience and what transpired but did not receive a reply or acknowledgement about what had happened. The sales associate experience was amazing but needless to say I will not be coming back and cannot support a company that treats customers like this. In my three years spent working in the automotive industry I’ve come across some very good and very negative experiences, suffice to say I had an experience that was highly unprofessional, very disrespectful, and I would suggest you look elsewhere.
