I have been a customer at Ocean Park Ford for over 20 years and I am generally very satisfied. However, I just reviewed my bill from September 21, 2020 and was greatly dismayed to discover I was charged $4.80 for windshield washer fluid. I don't think I should be charged considering all the other service charges. It should be part of the service. I have my own jug of washer fluid, and I could probably buy a whole jug for less than this top-up fee. That is just an example, it is all those little things that brought the bill up significantly. Furthermore the way the bill is set up makes it harder to check. Why not just have one page of clear charges. The service was done very efficiently and I will go back but I think Ocean Park Ford needs to do some work on all those add-ons that brought my bill up much higher than usual.

Recently my wife and I had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from Ocean Park Ford. Being delayed at an appointment, we ended up arriving at the dealership only 15 minutes before closing. Sean Pridie not only kindly and politely shrugged off our apologies, but went out of his way to make us feel relaxed, and welcomed us to take our time while looking at several vehicles, culminating in a test drive. An hour later, we were completely satisfied with a choice of vehicle. A return the next day showed us the same friendly courtesy from Sean, and we were guided quickly and easily through the purchase process, driving off the lot in our new car an hour later. Sean's patience and guidance were wonderful. Ocean Park Ford is a great place to look for vehicles, and to be treated very well by all members of their team. Took my car in to get an oil change at 8am and waited 4 hours until I gave up and called. Upon arriving, I was informed that I have a water-pump leak but it was minor. I had absolutely no issues with the coolant before somehow miraculously within 2 days half of my coolant had spilled out. Please save yourself the trouble and try Hallmark or at least Jiffylube.

Called around a few ford service centres prior to Ocean Park Ford for service quotes and was given a fair amount of up sell that I should also be doing various costly “flushes” in addition to scheduled service.... which really wasn’t required, Ocean Park Ford did not try to up sell so took my car in to them and had a very good experience, definitely be going back there in the future.

I have been to other Ford dealerships for service of my car, but this is the best one I have come across with. The Service Assistant person named John was very understanding and knowledgeable and diagnosed the vehicle and suggested what is required to be fixed. He didn't tried to cross sell like other Ford Services do. The work was very satisfactory and customer service was amazing. They have taken proper care of physical distancing which made us comfortable during our visit. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to visit Ocean Park Ford as staff is very friendly.

I've had very positive experiences with the service dept. They are friendly and some things are out of their control but they will find a way to make it right. We all know how frustrating it can be with vehicle repairs.

Based on my experiences with them, I recommend to give them a chance if you are looking for a vehicle or need to get service work done.

I bought premium service and maintenance package ( with my F150). I went to ocean park ford with a complain that my brakes are noisy. Ocean park ford checked and said your e- brake actuator needs to be replaced and its not covered under your premium service package. This will cost you $ 400. I spoke with the service adviser that I was sold the premium package that everything is covered (except tires). The adviser sent me an email confirming that "no its not covered". I was frustrated with ocean park and took my truck to Dams ford in Langley. Dams ford was amazing, wonderful customer service, early appointment, less wait time, courtesy vehicle and the e-brake actuator was covered under my premium package. Rest I will leave it to the reader to judge ocean park ford.

i had one last appointment booked at ocean park ford to check the noise in my sun roof. I dropped the truck and when i picked it up the noise was still there. i mentioned it to the service adviser and he had no clue why the noise was still there.

Overall , it is the worst dealership i have dealt with. I have to say for my business i strictly use dodge. I do not think that ford is geared up for that market which is price and time sensitive. I used ford f150 for personal use ..... but i guess its time to change.

Got a request to leave a review so here goes:

Last service was expensive on a 2010 Ford Escape requiring a $520 part. A few weeks later the engine warning the part was supposed to fix returned however I was happy that they were able to investigate and fix the problem at no extra charge even though it took an extra two visits to get fixed.

On a previous standard oil change service the instrument reminder was not reset so I had to bring the car back in an extra time to get it cleared from the display. No big deal and I accept things can get missed but the oversight was a bit of a waste of my time.

I have a dash cam and on the previous 3 or 4 visits the technicians disconnected the dash cam. The first time it was a few weeks before I realized the camera was not running. Every time I got the car back since it has been disconnected. If you need to disconnect it please reconnect it although I don't understand why it needs to be disconnected in the first place as the hood up blocks the camera anyway. I am trusting the service center when they say I need a $600 part replaced. So easy to rip people of with unnecessary work if they wanted to. Disconnecting the dash cam makes me suspicious?

My only disappointment is I feel like each time I pick my car up after service it’s dirtier than when I dropped it off. This time it looked like someone wiped my mirror with a dirty oil rag. I am young but drive a 2014 Ford F-150 limited because I work hard, I dealt with Robert Armstrong from ocean park ford, the sales person did not want to give me final price on a 2016 ford f150 limited and this should be straight forward as I got x plan,when I asked him to appraise my 2014 limited he said I don't want to waste my sales managers time if you are not genuine I can't work on it, I told him I wouldn't be visiting if I don't want the truck. Robert then asked if I want to test drive it and I said yes, he drove up with a beat up 2014 limited just the same as my truck but in white, I said I want to drive the 2016 brand new one and what's the point on buying the same truck as mine with more km's ? He said oh it's the same thing... Robert Armstong I might be young but not stupid... I understand trucks better than you.

The agent I spoke with (Jeff Franklin April 2016) refused to discuss final out the door price in any way. After buying elsewhere I received a follow up call from Ocean Park in which the agent tried to justify no price discussion policy. Keep your policy I already bought elsewhere.

I sat down with a salesman named Jeff Franklin in the month of April to get more details on a 2016 mustang. Since most of the vehicle details are available online all i wanted were details on financing and total out the door price. The office staff that deal with financing were out of the office on lunch while I was there so my finance questions went unanswered (they did answer the very general questions such as interest rates). When I asked about pricing I was told it was company policy to not discuss pricing until down payment or commitment. A bit of laughter escaped me and I asked how I could purchase a vehicle without knowing the price? Disappointed I left.

I received a follow-up call just today which prompted me to write this review. I ended up buying with Cam Clark Ford and the Ocean Park Ford agent asked why. I told him that Cam Clark discussed all the pricing details and even showed me their invoice costs (whether or not these were accurate or not I have no way of knowing). Ocean Park Ford guy tried to explain their no price discussion before down payment policy and I said no problem! I already have a mustang I don't need yours...
