My experience at True North Chevrolet was great. My saleswoman made my experience as a first time buyer very comfortable. From my test drive to making the decision to buy, I felt supported and all my concerns were addressed.
My only disappointment was to find out after confirmation of sale and on the pickup day for my vehicle , I found out my vehicle did not come with a spare key. And as many of us know, the newer keys/fobs are very expensive. True North Chevrolet would have otherwise received a 5 star from me if this disclosure came to me before confirmation of sale.
I recommend asking for Celine Guillemette, she was/is a fantastic saleswoman.

Richard was very helpful. My husband went in with one vehicle in mind that didn't turn out to be "The One". He helped us out until we found the perfect one based on what we were both looking for. He was patient and personal. He remembered little things that my husband liked which is huge for me. Overall it was a very good experience.

In early April I brought my car to the dealership due to my warranty was with them. I had an issue with my car acting up after I went past 60 km, once they looked at my car they said it was going to be $1000 due to the air cooler needing to be fixed, once it was all ready, I drove my car away and noticed the issue wasn't fixed. And to find out it was just the spark plug that needed to be fixed, switch was covered under Warranty. Horrible experience when I fix was so easy.
I give 1 star to celine who gaving us what we have asking for. But the sales manager calceled the deal we had after we made it (credit check made, deposit made, and papers for the trade signed) asking 6500$ more over it. Really disapointed of true north chevrolet in Northbay for us we will never going there again.
Great service. Diagnosed the problem with my truck and repaired it in a reasonable time given the complexity of the problem.
We bought a car here and then a month later bought a truck the car was great the first truck was horrible broke down and they kept guessing what was wrong with finally after a month they took truck back after giving us the run around the salesman that sold us the car and truck was awesome and my wife wanted to get her snow tires off at last minute told her they only take credit card we dont believe in credit cards so she asked for her tires back give her the run around again till I finally called manager we will never buy a car from here again or get the car and truck fixed here horrible service and a very bad experience

My girlfriend bought a 2012 equinox from true north the sales person celine walked her thru the process of buying the car celine was very informative about the car she returned all of her calls when my girlfriend was calling. The service is excellent doesn't matter how many questions you have all questions are answered. They delivered the car at home the car was all detailed extremely clean.the staff is very friendly.
My wife bought her truck off Leo last year. She left Toyota for various reasons & went to see Leo at True North. A couple weeks ago we went in to talk to Leo about my situation with my 2012 Audi. He went over it & we decided I needed to get out of it. Leo worked every possible angle he could but was having a hard time. He was not giving up tho, he said “your going to leave the Dealership happy”. He spoke to a Co-Worker Steve who was determined this could be done, get me into something newer for a better interest rate & that I’d love. It took them almost a week with help from Karen in Finance. Because of their determination I’m driving a 3 year newer SUV, a 2015 Equinox & I love it. Holly told me if anyone can do it it’s Leo & with teamwork he got it done. My next vehicle will be from Leo...my dream truck. They actually set up a plan and a goal for me. How can anyone ask for better care. Leo is a perfect fit for True North and we really appreciate all the hard work Leo, Steve and Karen put into this. Steve is new but he is a great fit as well.

Leo took such good care of us. This is the second time we have purchased a vehicle with Leo’s help. He took the time to learn what we were looking for. He was patient and not pushy. He explained everything very well. He showed us all the features. He even checked in with us many times after the sale to make sure we were happy and didn’t have questions I would definitely go back to Leo.
My sales person Leo went above and beyond what I expected for my recent purchase. He listened to my needs, found the best options available, gave me the best price I could find in a 500km radius, made initial dealing via long distance seem easy, stayed true to his end of the deal and even arranged to meet me when their dealership was closed on a Saturday to pick up the vehicle. I'll always consider true north as my first stop if shopping for a vehicle again.
I had a grease fitting that was losing grease from the spring loaded ball at the top of the fitting on my lower control arm and I asked if they could change that for me. First they said that there was no fitting on my 2015 Silverado then they said that it must have been changed then they said that they couldn't change the fitting that I'd need a new control arm. I brought it to Canadian tire and they fixed it in five minutes. True North's attitude was terrible he actually told me to bring my truck somewhere else. The service has always been terrible. I will never buy another vehicle from them again.
Bought another truck from Joff Rivet. I’ve purchased several trucks from him and every time he takes the time to look at every available options to fit my needs and surpasses my expectations every time. If you want someone that will go the extra mile for you joff’s the guy you need to see. I have to thank Karen Beatty for great service as well.
Horrible experience. I have never had to stand around outside for 35 minutes Walking around wanting help as we were ready to buy and than had to walk inside to ask and be told there is no one to hell us as they only had one person on to help. For a big dealership you think they would be ready for people and if didnt have anyone at the moment they would still at least be helpful. Not impressed at all and lost our business.

Good service and they have always been upfront about issues with my vehicle. Great warranty service. Can be pricey, but they do offer a lot of ammenities for the price. Very happy with the free shuttle service.

Brought our car in for warranty work. Tried charging us approximately $400 for nothing. Even Chevrolet warranty was unclear what the exact charges were for. In the end customer service through warranty handled the problem. I won't go back to True North. Hoppers GMC will be getting all my service now.
