I bought a Camaro from Dueck on marine. But Dueck Downtown is closed to where i live and work. i took it here for many many warranty checks for many issues (Transmission banging hard, air leak on the windows, rattling sounds coming from the soft top as it is a convertible, and other issues ... etc).... THEY EVEN DAMAGED MY CAR BY BACKING IT TO THE WALL AND CAUSING A MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE BACK OF THE CAMARO ''while taking it to the wash bay''. ALSO, i dont recommend anyone to let them wash their car here, NOT ONLY THERE IS A RISK THEY WILL SMACK IT TO A WALL LIKE THEY DID WITH MINE, BUT YOU PAINT JOB CAN REST IN PEACE. THEY WILL SCRATCH YOUR CAR DURING THE WASH. they did it to mine and they offered to do a full detailing. which did improve the scratches but they are still visible.

they asked to bring the car for a checkup .. ! every time i take the car in ... they keep it for a full day to only find out that THEY DIDN'T FIX NOTHING. they are experts at telling you we did check it and we didnt find anything wrong. IF IT IS UNDER WARRANTY EXPECT THE SAME ANSWER. they are very well know with that at that dealership. IF IT IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY, they take the car in and milk the max money out of you. BUT IF IT IS UNDER WARRANTY ... YOU DONT MEAN NOTHING TO THEM AS YOU DONT GENERATE ANY $$$$.

Sadly as most dealers, they are very good at the beginning and then completely drop off. They included only 4 oil changes that I was assured would last 2 years. Funny, it's 13 months later and had 4 oil changes according to vehicle oil life monitor. They ripped me off and. charged me for 4th oil change. Go somewhere more honest

I just bought a Fiat 500 electric from Dueck and it was such a pleasant experience, particularly after my previous experience with the Mercedes dealership on Boundary road. It was so bad that I did not want to own a car again anytime soon and therefore lived car free for over a couple of years once my lease was up. But Dueck changed that for me! From the moment I contacted Kim I felt that she was taking care of me. She was extremely friendly and never made me feel like she was trying to oversell anything or to overcharge. Everyone that I interacted with there including the staff at the service department gave me a similar impression. They are not salesy at all. I felt very comfortable with my purchase throughout the process. From the moment my family and I walked into Dueck downtown, we were immediately and very pleasantly greeted by Al. He listened carefully to what we were looking for in a family vehicle and the makes and models that we were considering. After our test drive, Al liaised between us and Ryan the sales manager to work out a few options and without any pressure allowed us to go home and think about it before we could pull the trigger on our long awaited vehicle purchase.

The next morning, I contacted Al to clarify some financing information and he got back to me immediately and even ended up to going to work before his actual shift start, just to make sure I had all the information I had requested. Once I gave him the thumbs up on our acceptance of the offer, he stayed in touch regularly to let me know when the vehicle would be ready for pick up and even offered to pick me up and bring me to the dealership.

The absolutely luxurious 2020 Chevrolet Traverse is THE vehicle that checked all the boxes for my family and what makes this purchase even more satisfying is that Al was exceptionally unique in his professionalism from the moment we were greeted by him all the way to the very end. With technical coaching on the cat provided by Daniel and his associate I felt supported. Oran easy drive. More of a advent. A puzzle. I feel like I’m flying a plane. I don't normally write reviews, but I do take the time to read what others write. I am influenced by others experience with a business and its staff. If someone takes the time to write about a business, I think it is important to read. I went to Dueck Downtown on Terminal in Vancouver. I was feeling skeptical of dealing with a car dealership. I was immediately surprised by the friendliness of the staff. There were no pressured sales pitches. I received sound information about the car I was interested in. I was happy that they were able to create a flexible payment plan that worked for my current budget.

I would highly recommend anyone to Dueck Downtown especially my experience with Jennet and Darren. She answered my text message in a timely manner and invited me to come to the dealership. He was friendly and informative about the product; I did not feel pressure into buying a vehicle. I am now driving my new car, and it’s everything I hoped to get plus more. I will return to Dueck in the future; I feel it’s a car dealership I can trust.

I recently began a search for a specific vehicle make, model and appearance, which I located online at Dueck GM Downtown. After 2 test-drives about 2 weeks apart, and trying other vehicles in the interim, I purchased the vehicle I had found at Dueck GM Downtown. My experience with the process from start to finish was excellent. My sales representative, Howard Zhang, was personable, patient and accommodating, answering my many questions and providing various information upon request.

During the purchase phase, Howard arranged the assessment of my trade-in vehicle and liaised with his sales manager seamlessly. The price and trade-in negotiations were concluded in no time at all, without pressure, and left me satisfied that I had received a deal that was more than fair. The Financial and Services Manager, Joe Nadon, was equally pleasant and efficient, completing the necessary paperwork quickly, and explaining purchase and other options clearly. When I advanced the vehicle delivery date by a day, Howard was able to arrange its detailing and other preparation at short notice. I was able to speak with 2 of the staff members responsible for the detailing - they took time to explain their process to me, which I appreciated.

It would be an understatement to say that I was very impressed with this dealership and its staff, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, new or used.

To Whom This Letter May Concern,

This is to inform you that Mak Makalai represents the best Dueck GM Downtown has to offer. In all my years of working in/experiencing sales I have never, ever, been treated more professionally and kindly. Not only was Mak's knowledge of cars far more than I expected, but he was also able to quote a more than fair price on the car my wife and I were looking at (it was a Chevy Cruze LT if you're curious). His "no pressure" sales ethic made buying a car easy: something my wife and I were not expecting at all. In short, Mak will redeem your way of think of car salesmen. He will walk you though, step by step, until you drive off the lot with a car you love.

But wait...it gets better. When we took our car in three weeks later for an inspection (today), not only did Mak remember our names, but he immediately dropped everything he was doing and took care of the situation. He made sure we were near first in line at the garage, he made sure that we had transportation if we needed it, and he did it all knowing that the sale on our car was already made weeks ago. This is even more proof that Mak cares about cars, the place he works, and the people he serves.

In short, if you are a customer and you are reading this letter, feel safe if Mak is taking care of you. There is literally nothing to worry about. If you want a car, and amazing service to go with it (along with a more than fair price), you found the place and the salesperson you are looking for. And when it's all done and you own your new car, remember to give this man a perfect score on the survey that coming your way--and if you have the time, write him a letter like this so other people will know that they are in a good place where good people work.

I had a really positive experience and my sales agent Daniel was knowledgeable, helpful and supportive. This was my first time leasing a car and I came with a full list of questions. He didn't talk down to me, he answered all of my questions honestly and found out the answers for the ones he wasn't 100% sure about. He even offered to come in on his day off to help me pick up my car (even after all the paperwork was signed and the final sale was made).
