Waited all day to get some basic financing numbers from the sales person (as a reference I received a detailed quote from Audi Richmond on a second hand vehicle within 5 minutes of my request). As my search is time sensitive, I had to reach out multiple times throughout the day. Once I actually got the interest rates (after waiting all day) I was told they won't sell to me because I live in a different region of BC.

In addition, their website states they had a significant number of the specific truck in stock, ended up being just one.

Was driving on highway #3 heading to Naramata when my brakes felt a little different heading down one of the hills. Made a call to Murray GMC and Peter the service manager got me in on short notice. Not only did they fix my brake issues, I also got new tires all around. Didn't realize they were the tires at cost place. They were also able to give me a loaner car while all rental places in town had nothing. Had an excellent experience due to great people and service.

After 30 years of GM vehicles we will never buy again because of the poor service at this dealership. Where to start...No diagnosis, mis- diagnosis, changing of parts unnecessarily at $1600 a pop and after the fact saying we were told there was no guarantee the changed part would solve the problem, waiting weeks for parts with no notification, never a car wash despite thousands of dollars, saying we had to replace a transmission they knew we had just rebuilt, and it goes on. We feel we were given incorrect or conflicting information and written documentation did not match the verbal info. Prior to that we had a recall on a power harness to a heated seat that they “fixed” but the heat never worked again. Their solution was $600+ to replace the entire seat. Another time we asked them to pair a key. They told us there was a problem with a control module and it would need to be replaced at $600 but our existing key worked just fine so the module was clearly not faulty. Their documentation says they were given insufficient diagnosis time and nothing about their saying the control module needed replacement. The service manager became involved in our last problem and was at least polite, offered possible solutions , looked for the real problem and gave us some resolution but not enough to continue working with this dealership. It was exhausting, we lost trust, spent a lot of money and time, and gas driving back and forth. A super disappointment. We now own a Toyota.

Unprofessional and total lack of respect for people's time!! Strung along for 2 days on a diesel truck we wished to purchase; than ghosted when I followed up on it. After some persistence on my part, I was finally told the truck was never available for purchase as it was sold to a Wholesaler; so either the sales guy dropped the ball by not doing his due diligence in the beginning OR the dealership was fishing for other offers. Either way, the truck should NOT have been listed on their website for sale than. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Steer clear of this place; there is NO customer service.

Murray GMC Penticton deserves 10 stars , not just 5 .....
To whomever is thinking of buying a vehicle , let me start by saying that buying a vehicle from anywhere else other then Murray GM in Penticton from Scott Robertson or his team would be a huuuuuge mistake ... here are just some of the reasons why .....
1) from day 1 , I was never on hold when I called in to speak with Scott as I had spoken with several other dealers in the province looking for a specific truck ( with specific colour and features and benefits ) , who till today have never returned any of my calls or emails or text messages , Scott returned my call with answers to my questions within 9 minutes of speaking with him by phone.
2) Scott went to bat to get me 100% of the truck i wanted with 100% of all the features i insisted on having. He overcame every single hurdle we came across during our many many chats and text messages ( always has responded within 20 minutes.
3) He did so and never went without my budget in doing so, he respected my budget and respected me the whole time.
4) He drove 2 hours to come to my work during business hours to come and personally view my trade on his own suggestion to see if he would be able to get me a higher trade value on my previous truck. All this when several other dealers didn't care to make time to return a call / text / or email. Yes he got me more money for my trade upon viewing it.
5) He constantly took the initiative to update me on the progress his team was making on the features on my truck that I want added including pictures.
6) On the day of delivery , his ENTIRE team overwhelmed me with a VIP welcome and service, Peter Tsonis, ( service manager ) , Derek Baxter Production / parts manager ) thank you for going above and beyond in dealing with all of my ( difficult ) requests, thank you for taking all the time to get this truck ready in a timely and perfect matter, this truck was 110% cleaned , prepared , spotless, detailed, you guys and your entire team ROCK !!!!
7) Logan Robertson, Financial service manager , WOW, you very impressed me very much with your attention to detail , professionalism , integrity , a true man of your word .... you are an example that financial service managers can do what you do and maintain truth and integrity.
8) Every single person in the detail department for having my truck 110% perfect on the day I showed up to see it of for the first time, nothing was left untouched , the truck is 100% flawless thanks to your detail team. thank you all!!
9) Scott Robertson, you gave me a full and complete walk thru /oreintation on the day i took delivery of my truck , you answered all of my difficult questions , thank you for your patience and professionalism , you are true man of your word , men like you don't need pen and paper to hold them to their word , YOUR WORD IS YOUR WORD AND IS 100% TO BE TRUSTED!!!! you actually went above and beyond on all that you said would be done !
10) perfect and consistant follow up after I drove away , thank you for all the extra goodies , you have outperformed any experience I have had over purchasing a vehicle in my life.

While traveling from Alberta my vehicle starting throwing weird codes, not wanting to travel 1000km home we stopped into to see Dave in the service department. Right from the phone call on Saturday Dave seemed like he would do anything possible to get us back on the road with confidence. He squeezed us into his already booked up Monday, did what needed to be done and a couple hours later we picked up our WASHED truck (not somehting were used to at home). It's not uncommon to have a great experience during the sales process, but the after sales & service can sometimes be a gamble. I from out of province, but you'd think I bought my truck here! What an outstanding service team. Without question, this wasn't a one off thing either. I had a drivetrain inspection done on my truck before we left on our trip, but I was still very uneasy about the noises I was hearing, so I booked into this dealership to have another one done, and I was fully expecting to pay the same or more, since I was adding some work as well. Instead, I paid less than a quarter, and they provided a hot breakfast to boot. If that wasn't enough, the mechanics and apprentices were incredibly engaging and friendly. I left very happy and confident my concerns were resolved, as well.

Brought my Cadillac in for a coil replacement. Asked them to check which coil was misfiring. Left it with them and later returned to a 300 dollar bill for diagnosis and no coil repair. Still the same problem and was told I had to buy all 8 coils even though only one was shot. They quoted me over 600 hundred dollars for the coils and another 300 for install. Installing a coil on this car is one clip and one screw. It literally takes one minute to do. These guys are out of control. They tried to get me to pay over 1200 dollars to have a single coil repaired. This shop sees their position as a license to print money. I got a new coil from a wrecker for 30 dollars put it in myself and my SRX runs great. The only thing they did for 300 dollars is tell me that it was cylinder 6 coil. Took them 2 minutes to find that out.
This service department CANNOT be trusted with your vehicle. They pick who they feel they can scam and who they cant. They chose wrong with me.
