Helpful friendly sales staff
Test drove a 2014 Impala several months ago and was pleased with my dealings with the Shaganappi dealership. The staff, internet coordinator and Luca the salesman have answered most of my questions and have been a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to test driving a 2015 Impala in a few weeks now that GM has had the opportunity to correct any deficiencies.
Very knowledgeable. Will go the extra distance to find out answers to your questions if he doesn't know off the top of his head.

I had a transmission cooler line leak so I brought my truck in. I figured I’d have them do one of their 100 point inspections as well to see if there was anything else. I was a bit disappointed in the information given following the point inspection. It just had a very basic description and price. There were some additional leaks mentioned. But no idea if they were severe leaks, minor leaks, fitting just sweating. Were the leaks due to cracks in lines, or old fittings. In the past from other places I’ve had them rate the items on severity and include more info. Be nice to know if the issues should be addressed immediately or if it’s something that can be done in the future.
The receptionist was very nice to deal with and all staff encountered were very friendly. Just wish their inspections had more info rather than several 3-5 word sentences and asking several thousand to replace it all.
Highly recommend Shagganapi they gave me an incredible deal and were very great to work with, thank you Perry you were incredible. Also thank you for the great service you have provided with my trade in, they didn’t make me feel like I was being screwed over with my trade in value it was very fair. If your looking for a new/used vehicle definitely go to Shagganapi they will take care of you like your family.
Terrible service, took 6 days to get the truck which was undisclosed at the start. Nothing was communicated properly, had to pry for every bit of information. Weren’t willing to deal on the price at all. Once moving forward with the deal, The story seemed to change every time we talked. With agreement in hand the truck all of a sudden wasn’t ready to leave the lot. Inspections weren’t done and my concerns were treated as if they were no big deal until I threatened to pull my deposit and walk. After all the hassle and arguing to get the facts straight I was told complimentary oil changes, hats, shirts, etc. were all just impossible and out of the question. I was in the dealer for 4 hours on day of delivery. They finally agreed to cover me 1 tank of fuel, we will see if they hold true to that. I came with 80% cash down on 2021 truck and was treated like some broke kid who stumbled in off the street. Won’t be back, recommend any other gm dealer in city.
I've been having suspension issues with my truck and have been going to Shaganappi trying to get the issue identified and fixed. While the truck was under warranty, I was told there was no problem with the truck until today now that my warranty expired and told it's a $7000 repair (not covered under extended warranty either). I couldn't have a conversation with the service advisor as the individual got defensive and nothing was getting through. Even me asking simple non-blaming questions were met with an aggressive tone. A calmer service advisor stepped in and was a bit more helpful however we did not get to resolution.
I purchased my car from Shaganappi GM and have been taking my car there for regular maintenance and oil changes since then. It has always been a positive experience; friendly staff, professional, fair pricing, no issues.
The other day, I dropped my car off for an oil change and some maintenance. The service experience was not the greatest; it was not a shining moment for the company and, in all honesty, left me not wanting to return.

Shagannapi is going above and beyond as an apology for the poor experience the other day. It shows that everyone has a one-off, but it is how they handle and correct issues that demonstrate they care about their customers.

Shaganappi GM is my go to dealership! Customer service is outstanding at this location. Stephanie and Cassie helped me the last two days and were extremely helpful! The service department always provides outstanding service ever time as well! I’ve never had an issue with my vehicle after taking it here. I will continue servicing my vehicles at this location. Looking for a Ram 1500 Laramie, found one on there lot. Salespeople was helpful and no pressure. The UCD manager was friendly and has organized a part we need for the radio to be installed in Airdrie where we live. Financial department was very professional. Jodi did not ask a bunch of personal financial questions. He knew what he was doing and had financing in place in 24 hr. Also provided us with the option of a warranty. Jodi had all the license and Insurance sorted. We just picked up the vehicle.
Lance and the team were great to deal with they listened to what we wanted in a vehicle and showed us what was available. Lance even recommended a different SUV then I was looking at and that was the one we bought. If you’re looking for a great sales team give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.
This was by far the best new vehicle purchase I have experienced. My salesman Jake was extremely thorough explaining the different trim levels and was able to get me a great price. I would definitely recommend him to family or friends because that’s how he treated me. Thanks again Jake and the team at Shag!!
1 year ago we brought our 2019 Traverse here for routine service & tire change. Our vehicle was a fully dealership maintained vehicle and on this service appt passed their routine safety check- no concerns. My husband picked up our car and drove us 5minutes to my daughter's daycare to pick her up. Once parked he noticed smoke coming out of the bottom of the engine, he called the service dept and they recommended he bring it back. He went into the daycare to get out daughter, and when he came out our car was on fire. The car was a write off. Over the month that followed GMC took no ownership, did not apologize, did not respond to emails. We appreciate you lent us a car while the investigation happened, but as soon as it was deemed the damage was too severe, you took it back and didn't even try to work with us to sell us a comparable vehicle, knowing we had no other option and supply chain issues are very real. We are a single vehicle family, and ended up taking our business elsewhere. Fully healthy cars don't just spontaneously combust, you and I both know that. Mistakes happen, and in this case it's quite obvious human error was involved..however, again, the damage was too severe to determine cause. Other specialists and mechanics I've spoken to about this suggest the oil cap wasn't put on properly. We will never know. Everyday we are thankful no one was in the car or hurt. The lack of accountability and empathy you folks have will ensure that we, and anyone we know, will never make a purchase here again.
Quite unexpectedly I ended up with a new car a couple of weeks ago! I love my new Malibu! My salesman, Mark Allen, was fantastic and so much fun to deal with! He was knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time showing me various vehicles and letting me know about special savings to be had. Truck hunting isn’t a easy thing it’s scary it’s hard but when I came across a truck I loved and I got introduced to Mark Allen, it went from scary to super easy and stress free. Mark was amazing he was not like your normal sales guys just looking for a deal, he listened to our needs and truly cared for what we wanted. 100% I recommend mark Allen and the Shaganappi gmc crew. Where do I even start. I bought a used vehicle and a GM after market warranty on the premise that "if something happens I should call this GM dealership first and book an appointment." Well something did happen and I called and booked an appointment for over a week out with engine problems and was told everything would be fine. I arrived today to be politely told immediately that it wouldn't be able to be serviced at their dealership and that is have to go to different dealership and get them to diagnose it because it wasn't their brand. Okay...So why couldn't I have been told this over the phone? Why did I have to wait almost 2 weeks and waste my only day off to find this out in person? What incompetent staff this dealership service team has. A collosal waste of time. They also LIED on the inspection report when I first got it and tried to sell me the vehicle with a broken lock and I made them fix it because they lied.
PLEASE. NEVER buy a car here. Especially used. PLEASE head my warning of multiple terrible experiences and purchase your vehicle somewhere else!
I've been having ongoing issues with my equinox, so I stopped by Shaganappi to get it checked out. I noticed that the shop was quite busy, but I was reassured by Jamie that he was aware of my presence and he would help me as soon as possible. The issue with my equinox seem to be common for the year so I was dealing with the Service Manager, Rob. Not only was my car giving me issues and causing me a ton of stress, but the pandemic and economy was happening all at once - it's true when they say bad things come in three! I was expecting the worst at this point...but I was wrong. Rob truly went above and beyond to help me get everything sorted out with my car. Interacting with Rob was so great - he is very informative and definitely knows what he's talking about. I'm no car expert but he was able to explain things in a way even I could understand. He is kind, genuine,...just an all around great person to deal with. It's nice to know that, even though we're all going through this rough time - there is a light at the end of the tunnel :)

Dealt with Wayne from start to finish, Made the process very seaming less and was a blast to deal with. Not pushy at all and very laid back guy you can relate with just about anything. Takes the time to actually listen to you and helped me accomplish exactly what i in visioned. Ask for Wayne and you wont regret that decision. Same goes for Steve in finance, he was lots of help and made the financing very seaming less. Thank you both for your help !
Great sales and service staff. The service shuttle is surprisingly convenient with an uber like website to see where the driver is.
Now if only GM vehicles were a bit more reliable 😉
Have had only the greatest experience when buying our truck with the help of Ed. Ed is the best sales person we've ever dealt with. Very helpful and always willing to lend an ear when needed. Will definitely be looking for Ed next time we are in!
I was offered an appointment to move into a newer vehicle from my current 2016. Disappointed that when I arrived, the sales person scheduled to meet with me (booked 2 weeks in advance) was not available. Not a great welcoming event.
Nevertheless, Adam was happy to help me and show us (wife and three kids) and offer me options. Amazing!!! A really sour welcoming was turned into a much appreciated and enjoyable experience. While I didn’t settle on anything just yet, we are going to look at more vehicle options he has to offer at a later date. I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone who is going to appreciate their business. After a test drive we spent another hour just hanging out and chatting with Adam and Darrell. What a great evening even though it was spent at a car dealership. Thank you both for making us feel welcomed.

Called for a part for my truck. Spoke with someone in the parts department.
Initially could not find the part with my VIN and description. Said he would call me back as he had something to deal with. I insisted and and provided him with I thought it was called and he found it.
After that he provided me only with price and that he would have to order it in. I asked for the part number and he said it was his policy not to give it out as I may shop their competition. I told him I was blown away by his policy and he said it was to protect his job.
Is this the dealership policy to keep customers in the dark to avoid competition? If so I recommend to stay away.
Our family currently has 6 vehicles from Shaganappi. We always come back for the great service from Jim Findlay. He gets you the best deal with no nonsense. Recommend Shaganappi and Jim when getting a vehicle.
I went into the dealership not sure what I was looking for. I was greeted on the lot by Mitch. My salesman Mitch went above and beyond to help me get the right truck. He let me send him ads of things I liked even if they weren’t through his dealership showed me what he had similar and even once told me that I should bite (that one ended up being gone before I had the chance) but later that week a very similar truck came on to his lot and it had my name on it! Would recommend

Was not impressed . Took my vehicle here as my check engine light came on . due to a tight budget requested to be informed of exactly how much it would cost for us to get the car fixed. was told it would be 250+ Tax when we picked up from diagnostic and another 79 when we picked up after the fix. okay no problem fast forward to the actual day it’s having work done and there telling me it’s 50$ more then what i was told. claiming that it was supposed to be there from the beginning . wouldn’t recommend .
I am from the Yukon and was looking to purchasing a new pick up truck and the pricing and timely responses were excellent.
I had a difficult time with the used car department. My salesman Denis was great at getting the deal signed however once I signed it took 12 days to get the minor things done. Mud flaps which I believe it is the law to have. Spray in box liner and some touch up paint. They were also to investigate and fix a squeal on start up. Upon delivery I asked Denis about the squeal and he said they looked into it and it was all good. (My bad, took his word for it) several weeks later I brought the truck back to the service depart for and unrelated issue and asked the service department about the squeal. For the first time I felt someone (Patrick White) looked me in the eye and told me the truth. Faulty starter, at the suggestion that it would cost me anything I forgot who I was and lost my mind. Apparently there was no notes or record of it having been looked at. (If it wasn’t written down it didn’t happen) nothing but defense answers and a BS story from Justin the manager. All of that said I did buy a GMC so I’m pretty sure I’m good to go.
I took my car in for an inspection and had my tires rotated while I was at it, after getting my car back, I realized there was a vibration in the steering wheel when idling and when I would go above 90km/h. I had to leave the city pretty quickly as I was moving so I didn't get the chance to bring it back in properly, but Rob Miller at the dealership gave me a call and offered to cover the cost of the repair for me at the GM dealership in the city I'm heading to. I appreciate him reaching out an making this offer, and for clearing things up.

The vehicle was extremely well detailed, inside and out..... Not so much as a streak on a window, they tended to everything that you could possibly think of.... I wouldn't go anywhere else - they took extremely good care of me ( AGAIN ) .... This has been just another reaffirming fantastic experience at good old Shag !! Ed made my purchase so pleasant and painless by giving me his expert advise and going out of his way to answer any questions. Since I took delivery, I received two phone calls from him to make sure everything is satisfactory and to see if I had any questions about operatiing the truck. 5 stars is not enough, they deserve more. Candice in service was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. My car broke down so I had it brought here as it was still covered under the power train warranty. They took care of everything from the cab ride to my rental until my vehicle was fixed at no cost to me. Service was excellent and very quick, thank you guys so much!!!

Only Village Honda service impresses me this much. A great pleasure to do business here. I am small potatoes to them, but they treat me well.
Nice dealership. Very good service from the sales consultant to the financial manager. It was beyong our expectations. The test drive was really fun and the negociation for the price was made with the salesman, which is very important. Because a lot of dealers don't allow their sale force to talk about the price... what a stupid concept!!!
Anyway here it was different. And their showroom !! Just WOW WOW WOW it's like a museum. You have to see this.
My last point is the minority (immigrant) consideration. On a scale of 10 I give them 10/10 no consideration of the color of your skin, religion or whatever.
Really a good dealer. Give it a try before buying somewhere else.
Unbelievably good service! I showed up with almost no warning on a long weekend Saturday because my Chevy's check engine light came on during my cross-country move, and Shaganappi was the closest GM dealership.
Although they couldn't spare any mechanics since I showed up basically unannounced, the entire Service staff - from the receptionist to the manager - was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They completely fixed all the vehicle's issues without even having to open the hood, and even topped up the air in my tires since they looked a little low!
The Service department staff were beyond helpful; they truly saved my whole trip, and I can't thank them enough. In these times when it seems like many dealerships couldn't care less about their customers, Shaganappi GM proved that there are still 'good guys' out there!
If there was a rating above 5 stars I would gladly give it to them. Highly recommended!

Cody is very approachable, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure his customer is satisfied! I got an excellent price on a wonderful vehicle. Thank you Shaganappi!! I was on my way home from work, tire inflation light popped on and i'm losing air as i drive.I pull over and see a nail sticking out of my tire. I jump back in my truck and call Shaganappi GM from my mobile as i make my way there. Rob Miller answers my call, he says pull into the bay and i will have a look. It's 4:50PM and i'm thinking i will be walking home tonight without my truck. Rob says don't worry, we will take care of it, just relax for a few minutes. By 5:10 i'm back in my car and on my way home to have dinner with my wife and kids at 5:30. I think i just experienced the best customer service of my life, and just a reminder why this dealership is the only place I will take my truck! Thanks again guys!!
