Multiple staff member would gang around you and provide you misinformation to sell a vehicle. My experience has been beyond explanation. GIST of the story? Stay away and and as far as you can or REGRET Later after spending your money. Vivian, Mark, Kitt? All well dressed up liars. I hope this will help you to decide and explore other options.

So I just called to double check about my warranty because I bought my car Audi a4 from another owner, then the guy working at warranty service explained to me with terrible way and that’s way be like contempt to me. The staff was very knowledgeable and allowed test drives of RS models without needing to jump through any hoops.

However, one strange thing is that no one really seemed willing to help you without having a strict appointment beforehand. It took about 30 minutes before I was helped after letting reception know. Understandably, they might have been doing paperwork, but it looked like a lot of salesmen were just sitting at their desks.

Took my car there to use my appearance package to fix a paint chip on the door. Once I got my car back I couldn't unlock my door anymore. They said it wore out but it was perfectly fine before I took it in. Then they charged me to get it fixed, unbelievable! I had a 10am appointment and had to wait around since I didn't have a ride. I asked if it was almost done since it's been 2 hours and they said they haven't even looked at it yet. Turns out it wasn't done until 4pm, wasted my whole day. Not sure why you need to make an appointment if they don't even look at it when they are supposed to. The customer service is terrible and untrustworthy.

I had such a positive experience over the last couple of days with multiple staff members in different departments from Open Road Audi in Burnaby. I have purchased a couple of cars through Paul Chan (Lease Portfolio Manager) in the past, who has always provided great service, but this time Paul connected me with Houman Ataei (Parts Specialist) who was helping me order an Audi 360L cargo box. After the box was ordered, it arrived the very next day, but unfortunately there was a minor "ding"/dimple on top of the box which was apparently uncommon, so they requested a replacement box which again showed up the very next day! Houman, Dan Gyra (Service Consultant) and David (Service Lot Assistant) helped throughout the process with the two boxes, and when the second box came in, Houman and David were meticulous and extremely detail oriented when installing the box, initially "eyeballing" the placement, and then measuring the placement of the box on the crossbars. All four of the aforementioned staff have top shelf customer service, which isn't always the case when dealing with upper tier brand auto dealerships. Open Road did a great job hiring these people and I hope to deal with them in the future for many years to come. Thank you again Paul, Houman, Dan, and David.

Beware of their admin fee! I recently want to do an early lease buy-out and found out this dealership wants to charge me $1300 to do that! What a rip-off! On the lease agreement you sign with them, they put a $500 lease-end purchase option fee under the comment section so they can charge you $500 when you want to buy-out your car. Not only that, they will charge you $499 admin fee again for the lease buy-out even though you already paid it once when you signed the lease agreement! When you question them for these two fees, they will tell you it’s required by Audi Canada and you will have to pay them. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!! I already called Audi Canada, these fees are charged by the dealership, NOT THEM. So when you sign the lease agreement, remember to tell them to waive the lease buy-out fee, because it’s just another fee the dealership wants to steal from your pocket! Besides the lease-end purchase option fee and the admin fee, they charge you $300 for safety inspection which you can have it done with a garage for a much less price. And I called other Audi dealership and they said they can waive the safety inspection fee for me since my car is very new (around 3000km) and not much work will be needed. So it brings out over $1300 (cause all the fees are before tax) for the early lease buy-out. I will fill a complain to VSA and see what they will say about it.

I had a pretty stressful/unfortunate issue with my Audi S4 a couple month ago which I went to Audi Boundary to figure out what to do next. I ended up servicing, buying, trading and even returning an Audi all in the matter of a week. Paul in Sales, Deep in Finance and the Sales Manager Ian were all knowledgeable, understanding and great to work with. I highly recommend that you see them if you are looking for a new or used Audi.

I have taken my car for service a couple of times and was never really impressed with the customer service at the service department. The associates are outright rude. Recently, I had to get a multimedia service updated which is covered by extended warranty and it was such a hassle. The labor charge was more than the actual device required which would mean I had to pay over the amount covered by the coverage. The explanation given for the exorbitant labor charges were vague and the lady was extremely rude. I ended up withdrawing my car and the audi downtown location provided me a more personable service at a very reasonable rate. To make things worse, they submitted a claim to the insurance company without providing the service and I had to go through double hassles to get it approved.I left multiple voice messages for the lady I dealt with but she never called back. Their labor charges for other things are also way more.
It would be nice if the service reps are more respecting and answer customer questions without being rude. They always seem to give really vague responses for pricing questions.

I have had so much trouble with this place and the car I bought from them! Right after i bough the car brand new in 2017, the back window was leaking and had to be replaced. When i got the car back they had damaged the driver window and I had to bring it back to be replaced as well. Then i had a problem with the MMI and had to go to dealership multiple times and send video proof of the problem i was having but at the end nothing was done and i was told they could not identify the problem despite the video i had sent them!!
And now, just couple days ago when i went for an oil change and service, i was told the water pump is leaking! So they had to replace it. But after i got my car back, it has a major power loss and doesn’t operate like it used to!! Which almost got me into an ACCIDENT!!!!! And when i made a call to the person in service department who took care of my case regarding this, after leaving a message to call me back, they called once which i was unable to answer so i called back TWICE but they didn’t answer nor call me back again!!!! I bought my car brand new so i don’t have to put up with all this trouble, but open road AUDI has been little to no help regarding any of the problems i had, and now they even messed up my car when i went for a simple oil change! Which i thought would be better to do it at the dealership since they should be trusted! But i was completely wrong about trusting this place after all the trouble and running back and forth i had to go through!

I did my service today and the experience was so bad. My wife is pregnant and we have to wait for over half hour for the loaner vehicle without any reason, even I make appointment already. The car wash was the worst ever. I know is free with the maintenance, however, I rather wash it by myself. They just drove my car through the machine and some area are not even been touched. I am a loyalty customer for OpenRoad Audi, and I bought both my RS3 and Q8 from their previous sales manager Peter Xin. His sales team and himself are the best in town. However, the service department is the worst. No more helpful people since Peter left. I hope the management team can improve their service experience.

I was told they were going to call me back to give me a quote on some lights that need to be replaced in my car and they never called back. I called back again 2 hours later and I had to tell my lights story again and then someone on the phone (Alan or Allen and who sounded so clueless and annoyed) asked me to tell my story again for the third time. I called Canadian Tire and now I am getting my lights from them from now on. In fact, I am never going back there. Canadian Tire is the place to go. Who would have thought that Canadian Tire would have better customer service than Audi.
Thank you for reaching out but I already made an appointment with the Canadian Tire service department. Also, it is not that my expectations were not met. It is more like basic and decent customer service was not provided. I have been taking my car for service and repairs there since I bought it 12 years ago but not anymore. Service could put you to wait extra hours even the car is ready to be picked up.
I was here for the recall and was told that the service should NOT take over an hour, so I decided to just sit around and wait. Yet after 2 hours I got nothing, until I texted them and then got a call saying the car is almost ready (need to finish washing). It appeared on the customers copy that the car was ready an hour and half ago.
Then I waited another HOUR waiting for the wash to be finished. I guess my car must have got insanely dusty.
I had to go out and find my car parking there ready to be picked up, and went to the reference guy to ask “hey is my car ready cuz it’s right over there”.
Dragos was so busy on the phone and didn’t even have time to deal with customer sitting right in front of him. Hard working.
I was a big fan of openroad. Sorry, NOT ANYMORE.

I want to like dealing with this place. The business is well kept and waiting areas are comfortable. The show room is well presented and people generally tend to make sure you are helped as soon as you walk in.

Unfortunately I have had some substantial negative experiences that weigh heavily against these positive points.

First, is that during the purchase of my vehicle there was some theft prevention service listed as a charge. I asked if it was legally necessary to include that as part of the sale and I was told it was needed. This turned out to not be true. Also after negotiating the price the sales person attempted to argue that the free service care being offered as part of the promotion was included in the discount (which was definitely not what had been discussed verbally and I had to catch this on the final contract). It was reversed but it felt sleazy and that I was trying to be duped at every point (which I was, in the case of the theft prevention service).

The primary problem I have with this dealership is that the service department is completely unable to hit time estimates. More than once I dropped my car off in the morning for a service and told them that it was important that it be ready by a given time because I had to pick up my young child from daycare. In all cases I was assured that there was lots of time and this wouldn't be a problem. On more than one occasion I was left in my employer's parking lot calling them over and over frantically as I feared I would not get to my child before the daycare closed, which is a serious issue.

At no point during these delays was I contacted to be informed that there was a problem. If I had been warned I would have been able to plan around it. This is key to the complaint.

This was punctuated by my service yesterday where I dropped the car off at 9am and told them it was important I be able to pick it up by 3pm in order to collect my child from daycare. They, once again, assured me that there was lots of time. I arrived at 3:10 to pick up my car and despite my insisting that it was urgent that I be able to pick up my child there was no sense of urgency or concern around my case at all. I was not driving away until after 3:40 and indeed I was late in making it to my child.

This is unacceptable. To consistently provide assurances that something will be done by a certain time and then to fail on that, over and over, is bad enough. The fact that no attempt was ever made during any of these events to contact me and let me know there was going to be a delay is completely disrespectful.

This service department of this dealership does not respect their customer's time and is not well organized.

Disappointing experience, after taking the car to the dealership to make an appearance package claim they failed to make the claim and I returned for the service and claim hadn't been started requiring an additional visit, after the windshield had been installed the lane departure system failed most likely due to incorrect calibration. Called to get fixed and they refused to give me a lift to my work and therefore I have to wait 2 weeks for a loaner car to address this issue. Will consider an alternative dealership for all future servicing. Still waiting for this issue to be addressed.

I'll be honest, I'm a bit high maintenance when it comes to my car but if something listens and handles my issues quickly and with a smile.....Then I'm the easiest and best customer to deal with. Cynthia made the whole process easy and fun. This is the first time I've bought a car from a dealership and the whole experience with Open Road Audi was very impressive. Her professionalism, knowledge and patience during the process (I liked two different models-and had a tough time deciding) was really supportive, and I never felt pressured to make a quick decision.
