Have only dealt with these guys for a year or so, but their service department (especially manager Troy) have gone above and beyond a couple times. Our rear windshield shattered randomly in our 2019 RDX, and even though there was only a Service Bulletin for this issue (not an actual Recall), they still went good for it. Excellent service, they actually care about you as a customer and want to keep you in an Acura!

Sitting in the parking lot of Atlantic Acura right now and felt compelled to write a review.
I came in to get help with my vehicle’s navigation unit, and while speaking with Service Writer Chris, a Technician, Rick overheard my problem. He immediately took me out to my car, and solved the issue in minutes.
I’ve worked in the auto industry, and rarely do you get service this good. They could very reasonably have asked me to make an appointment and come back, but having driven in from over an hour away, that wasn’t an option.
5-Stars, and I will be back when buying my next Acura.

These guys are the go to for lowered cars and alignments or anything related to New/Used Acura products. Brought something so low nobody in their right mind would touch as Troy and Jylenne nailed it from dead on service to on point alignment specs. Highly recommend them to any true Acura enthusiast 😎 Had 25 Acuras and only place I trust working on my cars:) Cheers to the well trained staff!

The worst dealership I've ever walked in to. In 2014 we went to test drive cars and were met in the parking lot by a sales man who asked if he could help us so we told him we wanted to take a few car's for a test drive he then looked at us and said they were out of our price range so we walked away and drove to moncton the following weekend and bought a car from (Precision Acura) Acura of Moncton, we were met at the door where the sales man introduced himself, offered to make us coffee and told us to take any vehicle we wanted even for the weekend if we wanted which wasn't needed, we test drove the cars we were looking at and purchased one! Fast forward to 2022 where my 2015 TLX was having transmission trouble, me knowing that Acura extended the warranty on these transmissions and were replacing them at no charge I called Atlantic Acura to look into it the service rep told me there was no such thing on my car and there was no transmission related recalls, so I asked to be transferred to the parts department so that I could price a transmission, the parts guy seem agitated that he had to do his job and came back a few minutes later to tell me that a transmission was going to cost $17,000 after having enough of their bs I called Acura of Moncton to which they said there's 4 recalls on my transmission plus Acura extended the warranty to bring it in and my transmission would likely get replaced under that campaign, I picked my car up last night it works great and the bill on the seat was all zeros, way to look after customer's Acura of Moncton it's just to bad that I had to drive a total of 12 hours and spend over $200 in gas to get it done when there's a dealer 20 minutes away! I would not recommend Atlantic Acura for anything and have sent many friends to Acura of Moncton to purchase their vehicles where they were completely satisfied!

I still have my first very car from when I started University (a 2015 civic - not an actual Acura) and I have been taking it to Acura since moving to Halifax (e.g., for an alignment, MVI, tire mounting - little things as nothing big has come up yet) as I was warned about Colonial Honda and to avoid it.

The quality of service and professionalism here has been excellent and (although I was worried about this), I have not felt I was treated any differently that any of their other (higher paying) customers. My car still has some life left in in as it is a Honda, but I am strongly considering buying my next car from Atlantic Acura when they release some version of a hybrid crossover. I had asked last time I was in about cars that would suit my needs (as Honda keeps calling and sending letters to buy my 2015 civic despite me asking them to stop), and I had an honest conversation with a salesperson who listened to what I wanted and told me to wait until 2024-2025 for something I actually wanted rather than rush into something now.

I really feel they go above and beyond for their customers. I've experienced this first hand, even as someone who has spent only a few hundred dollars there in total for small maintenance work. I've also been sitting in the waiting area (with a snack bar I should add!) watching how their staff interact with other customers and I have to say, I am consistently impressed. I have other friends who are similarly reaching a point in their lives where they're starting to think of their buying their "adult car" and before Atlantic Acura was recommended to me and them, we had not seriously considered Acuras (they weren't really on our mid-20s' minds). Anyway, this was my long-winded way of saying that whatever this dealership is doing is working and it's nice to see a dealership who seems to care about its customers long-term and not just pushing you into buying a new car.

This place goes over and beyond for their customers!! I bought a used grand Cherokee from Bruce and he was exceptional to deal with. Shortly after the purchase I began to have a flashing engine light. I contacted Bruce who connected me to Troy Bennett. Troy took care of us!! He towed the vehicle to their shop to run several diagnostics on it. After coming up empty they sent it to the dodge dealer and had some work completed there at acuras cost. All through they had me in a rental car from enterprise. The symptoms came back and once again Troy took the vehicle, got me a rental and spent hours diagnosing. At the end of the day it seems to be working normally now what ever the issue was. If you are looking for a great dealer to take care of you pick Atlantic Acura. Thanks Tory and Bruce

I usually do not write reviews but my wife and I had such an outstanding experience at Atlantic Acura I felt it was important for other car buyers to know as it definitely was not the cliche/intimidating car shopping experience.
Despite dropping in shortly before closing, everyone we interacted with was patient, genuine and made us feel comfortable. You immediately notice the high bar they have for customer service. All our interactions with the team were highly professional, warm and genuine - especially JD from sales, who is truly a benchmark for his profession. JD went out of his way to make us and our dog :-) feel important and unpressured the entire time. I highly recommend JD and Atlantic Acura.

I'll be clear that I am rating the service.

Firstly, some of the people at the service desk are very nice, but others will blatantly challenge your intelligence, and not be willing to listen to one thing you have to say. I repeated myself 4 times about a concern I wanted to state- however it was clear that I was not listened to as after the service she had indicated that it was an issue and asked why I did not mention or notice it. A robot would be more attentive and wouldn't practically be yelling at me the whole time.

After that, I also noticed upon leaving that there was about $30 of "MISC" charges. I don't know what these are nor what they correspond to and it makes no sense as no parts were changed on the car. Just an inspection. Feels a bit scummy to tack on $30 extra. I can only imagine if this happens to everyone how much extra they get for "miscellaneous"...

My (3) year old TLX was no longer reliably re-starting from "auto-stop" so I booked an appointment expecting a pro-rated charge for battery replacement. I was right, the battery failed, and after a battery replacement, software update, overall checkout and car wash, the total charge: $0.00. What an unexpected surprise, clearly going above and beyond the defined warranty coverage. Exceptional service and much appreciated.

Have been getting service at Atlantic Acura since moving from Kelowna in 2016 and have always had great experience. Shawn and Amanda are always polite and helpful when I come in. Help me find the best fix/part for my car when I bring it in. Very trustworthy especially when I am thinking there is something wrong/needing replacement and they tell me it is just a simple/cheap fix rather then trying to take advantage. All the staff are friendly including the shuttle drivers and waiting is comfortable with TV, comfortable seats and refreshments. Easy online booking process and never have to wait longer then I think. Never hesitate to bring my car here. Haven't worked with the sales staff yet but hopefully they are the same. Also had a good experience with Harmony Acura in Kelowna so hoping it is a good cooperate culture. Keep up the good work !

Jason was easily the most knowledgeable dealer we met and initial experience was positive. He works very hard to close the deal. He matched a new $500 incentive from Acura the day of and when my trade in's AC didn't work they still held their side of the deal.

However I was in for a surprise when I flew back to Ontario and they I couldn't register this car for 2 reasons: Atlantic Acura didn't give me the original NVIS and they mistakenly registered the vehicle in NS (leaving me stuck with $960 in extra fees). I couldn't register the car or get insured with my current insurance since it was already registered out of province.

To make it worse, when I flew back to Halifax at 7pm I found out Atlantic Acura sold my trade in before I even had the keys to my new car (I asked them for my old car back a day before). Luckily I found an NS insurance rep open at night to put a new policy for the RDX. Otherwise I'd be taking the bus home.

Now I have to pay $1360 getting the car safetied in ON, cancelling my old cars insurance, cancelling my NS insurance when I register it in ON, and paying extra in taxes for a province i'm not a resident of.

Jamie, the manager, followed up with me after this review summarizing it was a miscommunication on both parts. I asked if they could discount a few accessories and said Acura doesn't allow us any wiggle room. He also said I got a stellar deal on a 2017 RDX. However the dealer in Ottawa offered a marginally cheaper price and my old Honda dealership is giving me at cost accessories on *Acura* parts.

Every time I speak to Atlantic Acura I feel like I'm getting played.
