Absolutely deserved a 5 star rating! Cambridge Hyundai left us a once in a lifetime experience in car shopping! The manager Andy was very prompt in responding to online communication. The sales advisor, Gerry Santos was very helpful so as the Financial Service Manager, Chop was absolutely amazing! We never thought that car shopping during this Covid crisis would be that hassle free. Overall, I highly recommend this dealership. Hands down, amazing customer service! I had an appointment for 12 noon for 3 small recall items. I asked how long it would take and I was told one item (the sensor) would take 15 minutes. The other two items they had to check on. I was told I could wait in one of the two waiting areas. I told them that I would be back. My daughter would pick me up and we went to the grocery store.

I came back at 1:30 to see if my car was ready only to find out that they hadn't looked at the car. In fact they actually took my car out of the garage and it was still outside. Apparently because I decided not to wait in their facilities, they assumed that I would not be needing my car. They actually asked if I still needed my car today when I called them.

I was appalled that they could make such assumptions. I told them that I was in the parking lot waiting at this point so they finally took it in after 10 minutes of let me see how long it will be. I was then told 30 minutes it would ready. It has been 45 minutes so far and I am still waiting in the car lot. No one has called me yet.

If I could give a zero rating I would.

On Monday, January 27th, I went to Cambridge Hyundai for an oil change and maintenance service on my vehicle. Justin was my Service Advisor and went over the maintenance scheduled. Shortly after he came to me and mentioned that their records showed I hadn't completed a major maintenance service that should have been done a while ago and he wanted to bring it to my attention. I told him I'm sure I had as I complete any service that is recommended.

He took it upon himself to go through all my service records and check off what I had and hadn't completed since I purchased the vehicle and reviewed it with me. I told him I would check my records at home as it didn't make sense to me (I assumed that one of my service records just didn't get entered).

Justin then followed up with me the following day to see if I'd had a chance to check my records. I told him what my records showed for that particular km service, but it was different and less extensive than he had shown me.

He followed up with me this morning with a recommended maintenance schedule and not only listed the maintenance items, but explained the purpose of each.

I'm very thankful to Justin for following up with me as the maintenance I missed is much needed to keep my vehicle in great condition. Great Job Justin & Cambridge Hyundai for empowering Justin to ensure he has happy customers.

This is a late but well needed review. I bought a 2014 Honda Civic LX at this dealership during the summer of 2019; I bought that as my first car. I understand that part of buying a car should include having some knowledge about prices and the specs within a vehicle but I guess i’ve learned my lesson. I bought this civic for almost 16,000...... 16K for a Civic... I got charged a variety of hidden fees thinking that this dealership was honest and considered that i was an average human and not some money. The car had a chip in the glass, the wipers were in complete trash condition but I guess I should’ve known better. 16,000 on a 2014 Honda Civic that I traded in for the value of 8,000, I lost half of my money in less than a year of buying it and I felt humiliated when bringing in my paperwork to the dealerships of my new car because they said straight to my face that I had gotten ripped off. It breaks my heart to know that people can’t be honest and understand that we work hard for our money and deserve honesty and not to be taken advantage of because of our lack of knowledge. I WILL not be coming here or recommending this dealership to anyone.

We were having engine troubles on the 401 and managed to get our Sante Fe to the dealership in Kitchener...they offered no real solution to our problem.We left and drove to the Cambridge dealership and met the most helpful staff.Not only did they offer up a courtesy car so we could continue on our way,Tyler brought the car in and put snow tires on it because we were travelling further north and he thought we might run into some more bad weather.Tyler even gave my grandson a Monster truck toy for the ride !!!! BRAVO HYUNDAI CAMBRIDGE 5 STAR SERVICE !!!! How can 2 dealerships 10 min apart be so different ????

Hello. I’m a business owner myself. I don’t like taking to social media things that were meant to be private. But I tried several times to be nice and help them fix an mistake that have done. Instead, they have just covered up their mistakes. Lied on our face several time’s (I have witness). And yesterday, the sales director, Ferd. Acknowledged that there was something different with our deal, but instead of being a man and trying to fix it, he just said “you should have read the contract “ you are entitled to talk to your lawyer if you disagree. I have never misled anyone in my company, I trust people I do business with. If I knew I needed my lawyer to do a transaction as simple as buying a car, I would have walked away. This is not what Canadá is about. We are people of integrity, principles. Anyway. It’s up to our lawyer now onwards. Be aware and walk away if you still have a chance. I have bought my car in 2017, so it is only 2.5 years old. I could not start it today, went to the dealer where I bought it, they told me that battery died and that is because I left in in the cold outside - today was +2 at night (my car is always parked in the garage overnight) and also because I have low kms on the car (28000 km for 2 years) battery did not charge properly, meaning that I don't drive it enough. I drive this car to work every day. I had to pay $400 for new battery and some service tests, which should not even have been run or should be still covered under warranty (warranty is for 60000 or 5 years). The average battery life is around 5-7 years, this one lasted only 2.5 years, seriously? For brand new car? What kind of low quality parts you have to use so the battery dies that fast??? Very low quality of the battery for $40000 car. I have also paid $450 earlier this year because of my break pads were giving some sound. I do come for regular oil changes and maintenance services and apparently these serviced didn't catch the issue, nor they could cover it under warranty. I am very, very disappointed with such low quality car for such amount of money. Will never recommend this dealer to anyone, as there is NO reliable service, just sucking money for nothing.

This dealership didn't honor warranty. Claimed there was nothing wrong with car but at the same time tried to sell me parts and service. Took it to my mechanic and in 5 minutes he found faulty electrical circuit. He did it for free whereas the dealership wanted to charge couple hundred bucks for part and labour. This type of shoddy behavior is what makes loyal customers run to the competition.

Don't give your contact info (phone number, email , address) in their in-take form if you can help it. I went in for an oil change over 6 months ago and have been bombarded with mail, phone calls, and emails despite numerous requests to be removed from all mailing/call out lists. Speaking to the service: I came in since I had recieved a few recall notices and needed an oil change. That oil change took 3.5 hours and I recieved a bill for a diagnostic of other items- the recall notices were not addressed since they did not require action from the dealership at that time. There is popcorn in the waiting room which is nice. Cambridge Hyundai dealership, I once again beg you to remove my contact information from your database.

The sales process was great. It’s my second vehicle with them. I am extremely disappointed in the service. I have a technical issue with my vehicle still under warranty and they basically keep ignoring me. They have not once called back when they said they would.
I guess I will have to live with my seat belt light dinging every time I plug my phone in.

We went to the this dealership to get a Hyundai Elantra, Izzy was the one who helped us. He charged us administration fees, etching fees and couple of others which were not charged by any other dealers in town. We went back to him to ask for clarification ( we really wanted to get Elantra). We were asked to wait for 45 minutes even after booking an appointment. We left because he was not available (unprofessional attitude). We went there again because we got a call. We told them that we don't want all these fees. They reduced it and said we had a deal. we were happy. Then almost a week passed ( No sign of communication what-so ever ). We decided to call and check. To our surprise we had to wait another two days (still no effort to communicate). We called them back and they made up some story and said you cannot get the car. We went to another dealer got the car within two days. We wasted almost two weeks with this very unprofessional dealership. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else. Never going back again to Hyundai.

The sales staff was knowlegable and took the time to get to understand my automotive needs. They were aware of their line up's features and what vehicle would best suit my needs.

Paul Walia in Finance worked out all of the details in no time and Orooj (OJ) Alam found the car that I was looking for and had to brought up from another dealership.

When it came time for delivery Tyler Moyes and Leah de Souza went over all aspects of the vehicle's warranty, features and servicing needs. They even offered to link my phone to the vehicle's on board handsfree bluetooth system.

Make no mistake, this small dealership offers BIG service!

Kylee was an amazing rep and as a nervous new car buyer she made the transaction so easy! I had been car shopping at a few places and while friendly enough, you can tell when a rep is just out for the sale. Kylee definitely went above and beyond. I felt and still feel, that I was dealing with a friend. I liked that there was no pressure. Kylee believed in the product she was promoting and I think it's important to build a trust with a company that you are investing in.
