The 2016 Hyundai Accent hatchback is endlessly stylish and invaluably reliable, remaining an overall fantastic choice for the modern driver. Its exterior and interior profiles are refined for maximum appeal and comfort, while also featuring a multitude of technical gadgets for driver assistance and engagement. The engine is likewise surprisingly athletic and energetic for a slightly larger vehicle. There is no doubt the Accent aims to please with improved engine performance, upscale interior detailing and an attractive outer body.  

On the outside of this incredibly attractive Accent hatchback is a design inspired by water flowing around rocks, or as Hyundai designers like to say, “Fluidic Sculpture.” Throughout the vehicle’s exterior is a clear appreciation for flowing lines and deep grooves, clearly inspired by fluid movement and effectively presenting a lively appearance. Small modifications have been made to the vehicles front end, such as a broader use of LED lighting as well as a more angular and distinctive hexagonal front grille. These features combine to evoke an outward style that looks and feels more aggressive. Additional exterior components include mirror-mounted turn signals and a power sunroof for leisurely driving.

Comfort, style and functionality have further been enhanced throughout the hatchbacks interior with the integration of better building materials and overall refinement. With an elegantly cabin lined with richer materials and tons of space, the new Accent is immeasurably comfortable to ride in for both driver and passengers. It also features tons of storage for your convenience, as well as a redesigned instrument panel that displays information in a clear and organized layout. Moreover, SiriusXM satellite radio, steering wheel controls, and Bluetooth connectivity are integrated in the center console for easy driving, while heated seats and automatic temperature control both provide a comfortable driving environment throughout the cabin.

Safety features:

Hyundai is known to have great safety ratings so occupants of the 2016 Accent Hatchback can feel the most protected. Six airbags are standard throughout the vehicle, as well as anti-lock brakes, stability control and active headrests. Due to the large D-Pillars and rear-seat headrests, outward visibility is limited – more so in the hatchback than the sedan. However, both have large side mirrors. The only safety provisions missing from Accent models are blind spot monitors and a rear view camera.
